Just turn up the VOIP volume control all the way up. I had the same problem and it fixed it. I think the mic setup turns it down way too low.

Yup, it's been happening to me four a couple of days now, this just f@cking wrong. And the Internet tab in the server lists isn't showing any servers. I have to go to the history tab to get in game, and half of the servers listed are shyte servers to begin with!

Damn shrub, Don't be so freaking foolish again. Never give another player a weapon and ammo at the same time. One or the other, never both. I think people like that (the guy you helped) should be strung up and tortured, then slowly hanged until they die a miserable death! We need to start a list of all the players like this. Then we shoot them on sight for a change (if their was a tag system to identify people, WTF?).

It's been happening to me also. I lose connection after 15-20 minutes of game play. It really sucks. After that it takes about three minutes to get back to the server screen to choose a new server. Then, you have to wait a minute or two to get into the game. I hope this issue is being addressed. On a relative note...Why can I only access servers in my history? The Internet server tab has been completely empty for a few days. And my server history is full of shit servers to begin with. This problem also needs to be addressed ASAP. Thanks.

Hey, The Amphibia S is very silent but it seems to take more then a single head shot to kill a Zed. Maybe its me but what good is it for a silent zombie killer pistol if you can't take a Zed out with one shot?

Nope! I haven't found a tent and I've been searching two weeks straight. I usually check out deer stand and deer stand feeders (Is there really a difference between these two structures besides one having a ladder and the other having a ladder on a gentle slop that you can walk right into the stand on?). Where are all these people finding their tents at?

Damn Applejaxc, you must be shitting us? As for the Zeds, I generally have no problems killing them but there are times when it seems like you can'y hit them for shit. When this happens I go into first person and easily get a quick kill by axing them in the chest or the back of the head. I'm kinda surprised so many people are having serious problems killing the Zeds, saying they aggro respwan (maybe it has happened to me and I just someone missed it?). If you're having problems just run away about 20 meters and get yourself back under control, then reengage the Zed.

Saw a Zed chasing a goat yesterday, it was great! Unfortunately every time I try and chop a tree down to start a fire and eat my meat (did that sound right?) my axe won't produce any fire wood! Arggh!

Same here, When I spawn on most servers I have no gear at all. I have to server hop until my character appears with all his gear. But I'm not sure if these handful of servers have persistence turned on. The reason I think this is the case is because every time I have logged onto a server with persistence turned on (it's in the server description) I spawn without any gear (A Bambi). I guess this might mean I'll have to scrap all my loot to play on servers with persistence turned on. Crap.

I think you missed my point entirely. You know how we can have two characters, one hardcore and one regular (3rd person) right? Both characters can have different equipment, if one dies the other character is still geared up because the two modes are completely separate besides the name of the character. Since the update my geared up character from the "regular" servers loses all his gear when I pick a server with persistence turned on. After server hopping over and over I finally found a server ( a few, it just takes some time) where my character's gear is present. Does this mean we now effectively have three characters or will I lose my geared up "regular" character if I play on servers with persistence turned on? You see, every time I try one of those servers I'm hungry and on the coast. I log out immediately just in case, I don't want to somehow lose my geared up character if I stay too long. If this is true it means I'll have to give up my current character and start from scratch. And I have sweet loot too!

I built my system back 2008 and it handles this game really well. I have upgraded my graphics card since then. Four gigs of memory runs this game just fine. I'm running Windows 7 64bit, a GTX 650, 4gigs of ram, an Intel E8500 Duel Core Wolfdale processor overclocked to run at 3.91ghz and I'm good to go. So don't let anyone tell you 4gigs isn't enough. It's the combination of your hardware that seems to make the difference in my opinion. -Schweinsteiger! P.S., You don't need to install Fraps or anything. If your game looks good and runs fine there's no need to go knocking on that door. If, however, you're having problems and want to know, then go for it.

I think we should be able to carry two rifles. Currently (unless you have sawed-off shotty) you can only sling one rifle on one shoulder and a melee weapon on the other. In order to carry another rifle you must always carry it in your hands (which becomes a pain in the ass very fast). By the way, I logged out last night with my sawed-off in my hands. Apparently that was a big mistake. I logged in this morning and had no shotgun! (Dammit!). I guess you have to put the sawed-off shotgun back into your pack or you'll lose it when you log back in? (is this confirmed or was I just really unlucky?). Good hunting. -Schweinsteiger!

Hey Sula, That can't be true in every case, correct? (using the water as a directional guide). The coast curves northward on the east side of the map. In the west the coast is directly south. So shouldn't the directional bearing change depending on whether your on the east end or the west end of the map?
