I got killed yesterday after saying hello to a person. It wasn't he who killed me but his friend who stood a bit back. Still, such a pointless and boring way to play the game. And I refuse to become one of them. I can understand people who want to play the shooting game and fighting it out with other players, trying out their "skills" but straight up murdering people is never going to be socially acceptable under any terms. And to those who say that its your fault for dying because you didn't plan ahead and such, BULLSHIT!. This whole game revolves around social interaction, not psychosocial murdering sprees. The whole thing is really really simple: If another player is non-hostile and doesn't threaten you, let him the fuck go. Maybe the game needs a karma system? Giving you bonuses for helping others and giving you syphilis for killing newspawns.

I ran into the woods by NW airfield and pang-pang-pang, Dead. Never saw the guy but heard that it was an M4.

I tried something new: Every time I saw another player I greet him with a hearty "Hello!" The result: Dead: 1 Friendly: 2 No response: 2

PVP and KOS are two completely different things. I also get shot all the time, just respawn and go again. Its part of the experience. Today something strange happened though. I met a guy at NW airfield and he didn't try to kill me. Theres a first for everything I guess. I ddi get shot an hour later by someone else though so the happiness didnt last long.

I had always taken the sporter for a BB gun. Puny and worthless. But once in Svet I was armed with only the sporter and a 30 round magazine and managed to take down two axe-weilding psychopaths with it. One came from behind even. These guys probably also thought the sporter was useless as they were both carrying much better armaments but opted for their axes. So, the sporter isnt useless, but compared to the other guns it is weak and lacking. If we could only put the long range scope and a bipod on it to even out those odds.

That structure is just an image and you can walk through it. The ACT is still there and still spawns loot. The new structure looks nice though.

You should go to your friends houses, and if they are geared(ie, wearing anything other than underpants), shoot them. That'll show those KoS:ers

I had the strangest night. I didn't find any danes to molest so I newspawned near Kambiwobo. Immediately I hear someone running inside the police station and after a short while he comes at me. i say Friendly and he responds with "Let me kill you dead" in a eastern-european acent. We run around for a while and he tries to hack at me while taunting me. I respond by hacking at him with my scythe til he bleeds then I run and hide. I wait for a bit then come out, I'm gonna go look for his corpse but then another guy comes running, geared. I warn him about a possible shooter and he promptly shoots me in the leg with his magnum ;o, he then goes rummaging around the town. After a while he comes back and bandage me but doesnt fix my broken legs. I call him an assholes and we talk for a bit. He gives me a splint for my legs and just as I'm applying it he shoots me and then says Sorry dude. I respawn in Cherno and after some time find some decent loot. i avoid some people warring it out in there and as I am leaving towards Dubky I meet a fully geared guy with an AK in the woods. I shout "I'm a medic" and sit down. He tells me to put my hands on my head and he wont shoot and I do, except I press the wrong button and start pulling out my mosin, he shoots me. My fault. I respawn in Polana, meet up with a newspawn and we head towards Novo. The server then crashes and doesnt come online again so I go to another. I loot Balota and find a full TTsKO gear, a mosin with ammo, military boots, fireaxe and a backpack plus much more in the space of ten minutes. I meet no more players and when the server freezes I go to bed.

I had a shitty day. I spawned at Rify, met a whole bunch of people there who i talked to, then one of them shoots me for no apparent reason. I could even hear the other guys ask why he shot me over the comms. Respawned in teh wilderness, couldn't find clothes or stuff to burn so i froze to death :/ Respawned near Cherno, went into town and found some decent loot. As I came to the firestation there were two guys there so i talked to one of them. He kindly showed me where I could find a backpack and I thanked him for it. Then his friend walks in to the room and promptly shoots me for no reason. I could then hear them laugh about it and congratulating themselves for being so cool and tough. Damn danes, they should all drown in lakes of blood. And tonight they will.

I wonder if its relatable to the sound issue that makes it sound like someone is firing his gun into your ear when he is really a hundred yards off?

If you shoot on sight why do you do it? I don't can you explain to me why you are not bad at the game if you shoot on sight? They are not nessecarily bad at the game as such, but choose a boring playstyle, kinda like heli-whoring in Bf2. What is your opinion on people who shoot on sight? They ruin the experience for other players. If players who want to PVP only attacked other armed, aggresive players, I wouldn't have any problem with it, but since they mostly prey on those who are defenceless or too nice to do the same thing, they deserve only loathing. Do you think they are just pure douche bags that ruin your DayZ experience? Probably not. They most likely think that this is the way the game is supposed to be played. But they sure ruin i it for me every time it happens. Should they be ashamed of themselves? Yes. The most boring playtype I know of in this game are those players who camp on some hill far from a town, then snipe unsuspecting players in the town for no reason whatsoever. They never go to collect the loot, they never care if the person they shoot is a bandit or hero, they just kill everyone. It must be a very boring experience.

People have characters older than a week? Wtf? My HC guy had just found an AKM, AK101, FNX45,a flashbang, two yellow boxes full of stuff and no big bulky backpack, just a smersh holding the nessecaries like toilet paper and so on, then I go to check my phone and a fucking zombie knocks him out and he never wakes up. So I respawn and gets killed by cowardly assholes three times.

The corner two-story buildings can spawn them as well as SKS and other guns.

Strictly theoretically it would seem strange if the worms were infected, as you can cure yourself of the sickness by eating charcoal tabs, using a saline IV or drinking a lot of water and vomiting(this seems to only slow the process though) so if this were the same as the zombie infection and the cure was so simple, there wouldn't be any zombies running around. On a side note, this game would be ten times better if you would turn into a zombie when bitten and had to chase players and infect them or die trying.

I always carry a handgun or two. Mostly for added security if my rifle should break or go missing(both have happened). I prefer the CR75 but use the 1911 sometimes as they spawn more often. I have probably killed more people with hand guns than rifles. They shoot fast and pack a punch. They are also easier to conceal. I've even killed a guy with an AKM in a direct firefight once.

No message recieved means the server is restarting or has crashed. Mostly its restarts that does it. Some servers restart way to often. My day was basically the same as a few days before. I wonder around a firestation and magically break my legs for no reason, also my pants and everything in them are ruined :/. i grew tired of it and played with my HC character instead. Found six Ak's of different sorts at the Large airfield and surrounding areas. And I didn't get shot for once. I also found a heli crash but there was mostly crap there, except for a flashbang.

Day of the retards: Met a bunch of people playing on the same server, only one were somewhat normal. 1. Guy speaks polish, says Kurwa, stupid america while constantly poiting his empty rifle at me. I ran away. 2. Guy gets threatened buy the polish guy, says he wants to live. gets killed. 3. 2 guys inside the NE airfield ACT talking about being gay or not. 4. A girl and a guy comes up to me as I listen to the gay guys, tells me to drop my stuff while poiting an AKM with no clip at me. I laugh and run away as the carnage begins when the gay guys hear them. 5. Two people sit and idly chat in lower Berezino, oblivious to me running past them. 6. Meet a guy inside a house, he mumbles incohernetly while giving me the finger. I run away. 7. Meet a guy standing just next to a zombie that isn't attacking him for some reason, I ask him what he's doing and he starts punching me, I run away and he starts following me. I grow tired of his taunts and lure him into two zombies, he dies. 8. I loot Elektro and hear shooting. Some people run by me shooting at nothing. I hide and eventually log out as they don't seem to wanna leave. I'm glad I didn't have a firearm as I would have killed a whole bunch of these people if I did. Now I chose to run away instead which worked fine too. I do however have a 1911 with clip now so beware retards.

Removing the slider won't change anything since the same function exists in your videocard settings.

When having a light on doesn't mean you get automatically shot dead right away, i will start playing more night sessions. As it is now, the retarded players make it impossible. If night vision ever comes, I fear it will become much much worse.

Don't eat the worms. They sure look tasty but will make you sick and cause death eventually. Which sucks really, I've eaten lots of worms in my day and haven't died. I am feeling a bit queasy right now though.....
