If you want to meet people you need to go where girls are, Elektro Cherno and Solnichy/Berezino. Theres usually some KoS:er sby Svet and Novo too. If you want to get shot, go to NW airfield and Vybor military base.

Today was quite an eventful day, and strange. I played on the WOBO server like I often do and logged in outside Kamenka military bse, kinda sursprised as when the server crashed last time I was in the next village. Still, as I start to move I almost instantly hear someone shooting nearby. I run into the nearest building, close the door and take shelter. Soon I hear someone outside and I'm shot dead. Now this is strange because I was shot through one of these windows earlier so to avoid that I lay on the floor nearest the wall. The dorr next to me was closed yet someone could see me and shoot me. Kinda annoyed I respawned in Elektro. There was a lot of shooting there and a newspawn attacked me with an axe but I managed to shake him among the houses. As I'm crawling in the bushes outside town watching people move about I am shot. I respawn outside Kambiwobo. I find some gear and a mallet. Outside Kambiwobo I see two people so I go around them. I hear someone call out in a voice from Metro 2033(guy mustve been using a soundboard) and hear some shots. I wait for a bit then sneak out. A guy is looting two corpses. I sneak up on him and bash his skull in with my mallet. I take his stuff. I go to Elektro and theres still shooting there so i go around it. Halfway to cherno I meet a nice german fellow who I tag along. As we are making a fire in a barn three other guys join i, then one more and then another. We eat and banter around the campfire and all have a jolly old time. We decide to go to cherno, the server restartsbut I manage to find them again. Then some guy floating around and playing music ruins the party so I logout. Still, a nice moment among the bloodshed:

I tend to find them in the three story buildings with blue doors.

Lol for real? I make a new character almost every night I play. Either because one gets killed or I go on a private hive and make a new one just because its way more fun to gear up than to snaek around fearing death at any minute and losing your gear. If you can't stand losing your gear because it takes hours to gear up then this game is most likely not for you since thats what its all about.

Funny stuff. A small tip to be sure to get your weapon out every time, press tab then the number of the quickslot then tab again. You can do this while running so you dont have to stop. I had a similar experience a while ago where a guy attacked me and I killed him, he then respawned two more times near and attacked again and again, then another guy also attacked me and I had to kill him too. And it all happend in the same stairwell in a tec building in elektro. My blood was pounding I can tell you.

Bandits can be fun, if they play the role and aren't just douchebags who toy with you and then kill you for no reason. But KoS:ers are never fun, just annoying and boring.

Ghillies were inplemented into this game on patch 0.52. It is still 0.52 so a bit early to complain about it being fixed, don't you think? I would prefer they fixed the leg-break bug as it actually ruins the game for you when it happens while this is....meh

So thats what happened to me the other day. I wondered how the guy could shoot me through the wall.

According to the research done by players the defib and epipen works in the exact same way in the game. They reset your shock value, which is what keeps you from waking up from unconsciousness sometimes. It doesn't stop bleeding or replace lost blood but technically a player that is unconcious but not dead could be saved by defibbin him, then either giving him blood or saline or just waiting for him to wake up. I have NEVER succeded in doing this though, and not from lack of trying. It would be more fun if you had more of a chance to survive even if you are downed, Sure most of the times the killers just go up and axe you dead but not always. sometimes you are downed and die quite quicklyfrom bleeding out. This should take more time, five to ten minutes at least. That way someone might be able to run and help you.

I can't believe what just happened today. I was following a group of three bandits from elektro to cherno where they were killing everyone they saw. I had just watched them disappear up towards the highrises and as I go into the fire station third floor I get the leg break bug. I try to fix it but my morphine got ruined, even though I had it in my jacket. I crawl dowsnstairs and the server crashes. The server doesnt come up so I go on another private hive and start fresh. I gear up a bit in Polana then go to the Novo industrial complex. I go up a stair AND MY FUCKING LEGS BREAK AGAIN! I have nothing to fix it with and the nearest tree is ways off. Thankfully I have a knife so I can kill myself. I rejoin the first server as it has restarted and manage to mend my legs. I go to look for a v3s that i saw earlier but it is gone, probalby lost in the server crash. There was no gas in it but I found a jerry can. I see one of the tall industrial buildings that my previous character broke his legs on and think to myself "it can't happen again" But it does.

Not every time. Sometimes you spawn without the weapon that were in your hands. Sometimes its in your hands, sometimes its in your inventory and sometimes its at your feet. It seems completely random and it doesn't seem to matter if the server has persistance enabled or not. Also "serverhopping" is kinda outdated when the servers go down on a regular basis and you HAVE to find another server.

I don't think I've ever lost so many guns since this patch came out. 2 Ak74su's just dissapeared from my pack on 2 separate occasions- I log out then log in later, gone. i've also lost an Ak101, 2 or 3 SKS:es, A mosin, 2 repeaters and a shotgun. Some from double carry and others I've laid on the ground for some reasons and they're gone. Sometimes i can find them in the surrounding area and at one point the weapon appeared in my inventory five minutes later. Skinning people or animals don't seem to work at all and crafting is a 50/50 experience. Some thing swork fine like fires but making splints rarely works and other items are hit and miss. Often when you fail to craft something the items used becomes inaccesible for more crafting. Its strange. Also, in 0.51 you could pour water from one bottle into another, that seems to be gone now.

You kill a person for no reason whatsoever, steal his stuff and make an account to brag about it on a forum and expect people to like it? Is this behaviour that would be acceptable anywhere? Do the test man.

Today a lot of things happened, some good, some bad, some rather funny. First I spawned in with a character on a private hive. Turned out he was in a camo building on the NW airfield. Not the best place to be on a full 40 man server as I noticed ten minutes later when some guy killed me in the firestation after a brief talk. Respawned outside novo and got some good stuff almost right away among the industrial buildings. Met a nice guy there who led me to some ammo and stuff. Went to Svet and further down the coast. At the wreck I met some other guys I talked to but the server restarted. I logged in a bit later then went to Berezino. People were shooting so I try to sneak by but am spotted by a guy with a head ghillie. I tell him I'm friendly and only looking for food and fire but he starts chasing me. he doesnt respond over comms. Soon enough two more wearing head ghillies appear and one shoots me in the legs so I fall prone. One of them draw an axe and moves near so I pull out my repeater and shoots him. He drops dead and I laugh as the other two pump bullets into me. Logged into the WOBO server and was in green mountain. I went to the Veresnik military base and heard people shooting in there and some guy yelling insults over comms. I went to check it and heard the guy rustling about outside the camo building so I went inside and waited by the entrance. I was then shot. Don't know from where because nobody was inside and nobody was at the door. the guy then yelled insults over comms as I was dying. Not a very pleasant fellow. I respawned on the same server and started in solnichy. I found some decent stuff and was running towards Kambiwobo when a very strange thing happened. My guy stopped and by himself emptied out all the ammo from his gun then proceeded to drink. I left the server. I went out and fired off some rockets then spawned in with my 1pp character. This character has been alive for some weeks and got an AKM and some other nice things but I grew kinda bored of beign careful all the time so i went to Solnichy. When I get there I see three newspawns. Two run away immedately as they see me but the other one starts to follow me, talking and taunting me. I realize ofcourse that he's going to try to take my gear so I run along the beach with him in tow, talking to him for a bit. After a while I grow bored so I shoot a clip at him but misses most of my shots, then continue running while reloading. I then hear gunfire ahead and soon spot a guy shooting the newspawns that ran from solnichy. I run towards him through the bushes and open fire. I hit but he doesnt drop, he turns and fires and I hear a shout from behind then a thud and I go down. I'm out for a bit then someone kills me. And this bothers me a bit, not that I died but its a bit boring with this game when theres a fight and things happen and you don't get to see the outcome. I don't know if the guy that chased me died and i don't know if the guy with the gun died and I would really have liked to know that at the time. Because, I respawn in Kambiwobo, run all the way to the place of the battle and theres nothing there, no corpses, no loot on the ground, nothing. And It only took me maybe three or four minutes to get there. And as I'm runing around there, looking an old friend comes running. Its the guy who chased me. I believe he respawned but I don't know. He's weilding a wrench so i run to one of the landings and make my stand. he kills me. I respawn outside cherno. I see a guy by the beach so i go talk to him. He seem to have some mic issue since I can see his lips moving but theres no sound. He lays down in the water and drowns himself. I craft a stone knife and try to skin him but it doesnt work. I go to Cherno. While roaming around a guy comes running. he talks but theres no sound. i realize its the same guy adn he attacks me. I run for a bit then turn around and kill him, I guess its what he wants as hes not fighting back. I try to skin his corpse again but it doesnt work. I proceed into cherno. I'm really hungry but can't find any food. I meet a guy in a dress who tries to cuff me so I cuff him back and succeeds. He laughs. I don't have any keys, he doesn't have any food so I suicide in the street right in front of him with my stone knife.

Yeah, it'll be fun to read all the scrubs yelling about H1Z1 not being finished, all the bugs and all the other bullshit that goes on here and on other forums. Good luck. I will also try it though.

This has only happened to me once, on a 50 man server. Funny enough there were four other guys there, duking it out. I managed to run a few hundred metres before getting killed by some maniac who wanted a backpack I had managed to find. Its actually quite a good spawnpoint, close to Vybor, Veresnik military base, Green mountain and the NW airfield. Its unfortunately also a place where people tend to loot their high end gear and kills any competitors for it.

I noticed that its far easier to find netting on persistant servers as the persistance creates more loot on boats for some reason. Unfortunately 90% of it are hats or boots.

A good thing about there being a mod and a standalone game of the same sort is that you can choose to play one or the other. That way you don't have to go on a forum and whine about a non-finished game not being finished. Most people that complain about this game seem to not get the concept of alpha at all.
