The item dissapearing thing has been around since 051 at least. Its a hopeless miss n guess game if your gear will vanish or not. As for the zeds I've noticed that they run up to you without screaming now. That usually never happened before so the first times it happened i believed it to be players and was mildly surprised by a friendly zed instead.

logged in public as a freshie outside cherno and managed to find some nice stuff, black raincaot, a sweater, flare gun but no flares for it,and the usual fair. I snuck into the firestation adn after a while I hear voices coming from downstairs, As I'm moving downwards my legs take damage and I have to run down. Then I have the misfortune to get gunned down by m4 fire as some guy is executing another freshie. An M4 already? :/ I respawned outside Elektro and Made my way south as there was a war there, so much shooting in town. Tried making a fire but couldnt get it to work. I then met a Norwegian fellow and we worked on making the fire for a while til we got it. Then the server restarted :/ I respawned as a freshie on 1pp instead in Polana. Found a hastchet and wasted some zeds with it. its really good. Also found some flares for flare gun. While climbing the Novo industrial towers I spotted a mosin on an adjacent rooftop so i went for it and promptly missed a ladder and died :/

I went to Balota airfield adn as I'm scoping the place out with my longhorn I see a bambi come running past me . He doesnt spot me so i just look for a while as he's looting. I decide to leave as i don'ty want to kill anyone. After walking west for a bit I become curious so I check in on the bambi. He has moved up to the hangars and met some friends. They run around for a while wailing with axes until one shoots him point blank. I feel a bit sad for him an decide to follow these two for a bit. I wait, then as I'm starting to move, I notice that theres a guy lying in the grass only ten metres from me. He doesnt seem armed or hostile so I leave. As I'm leaving I hear a truck arriving. As I watch it I see the two murderers come running towards it. It quickly speeds away. That was the most interesting thig that happened yesterday. I met some other people but not one tried to kill me, which was nice.

You probably already know this, but if the server restarts or you leave and then return, you might find yourself in an inaccesible room at the bottom of that tower and the tent gone. It has happened to me on multiple occasions.

KoS'ers are stupid. If you want the game to actually be fun, don't KoS. Theres no challenge to it when the other person doesn't even no you are there. If you want to make a sport of it and make it challenging, make your presence known so the person knows theres a threat and have to fight for his survival. But KoS'ers will not do that, since it makes it possible to actually lose something. So they will go on with their old boring playstyle that only ruins the game for everyone, even the KoS'ers themselves. The only people that are actually even more stupid are the hackers. Who take a challenging game and removes the whole challenege, and therefor, the point of playing the game.

2 things: The legbreak-bug removed. Things dissapearing /unable to pick up(these are surely related) fixed.

I go there all the time and light a fire in the yard. Its a nice place. Nice people there too.

I made a fire for a guy I didn't know who was hypothermic in Elektro church. He died anyways so I sat watching his gear til he arrived. Another time a girl attacked me in Pavlovo military base so I had to shoot her. I then bandaged her and gave her a saline. When she awoke she attacked me again :/ So I shot her again.

I had an incident with a hacker. He wasn't the brightest bulb in the pack. I went to NE airfield on a 40 man server(great idea I know) and after getting to the firestation without any shots fired I locked the doors when I hear someone walking outside. I call out "hello" and almost immediately I notice my AKM dissapears. I think its strange but since shit like that happen all the time i am only mildly annoyed. A guy then appears by walking through the wall. He wears nothing but has my AKM on his back. I greet him but he's breaking up and not responding. Then he starts to talk, calls me noob and stuff and takes out the AKM. As I have a repeater as my first gun due to lack of magazines I fire first but it just goes click click. he has taken my bullets. Hea laughs and tries to kill me but the akm only fires once, surprising the hacker. i pull out my axe and start wailing. He takes a few hits and starts bleeding then teleports away. I hear him bandaging so I run out and look for him but soon realize that he's in the unaccesible room in the corner. I decide to log out as its a losing battle. I log in to a different server to see if I survived and I did. But he's taken my backpack and my facemask. At least i made it out in one piece. This was on the Good game m8te server and the guys name was moocow, I checked his pulse.

I onyl got KoS:ed once yesterday and that was in Vybor military base. Surely and improvement as I must've met at least ten people during the day.

I made a bow the other day and used it for a while. Its quite cool but the range is very short. Horribly so. I fired two metres above a zed twenty metres away and the arrow ended up at his feet :( I used up my arrows then tossed it.

That thing with the dead character full of loot happened to me once too when the server crashed while I was on a ladder. I had big problems yesterday even joining a server. All I got was "Wait for host" or the servers crashing all the time. I did meet some swedes I ran around with and was chased by crazy people wanting to kill me. I also had a squealer come up to me screaming a guy was trying to rape him. But when he arrived it turned out he was just copping a feel so i let him live. And when i spawned in Elektro I found a dead girl in the room right next to where I spawned which spooked me a bit. And when I left Elektro someone shot after me but missed by miles. I went to Vybor base and was very careful checking it out before I went there but still got one-shot as i was leaving a barrack. Also I was on one of the towers outside Novo when I saw three people down on the ground. I coule easily have killed them but didnt. Then one spotte dme and they went up after me so i had to sneak down. I had several more chances to kill them but didnt. I left novo and went to Berezino, once I got there something very funny happened. I was being chased by three zeds but didnt want to stop and kill them as I had two guns and i didnt want to shoot as there were people shooting downtown so i just ran. Suddenly I come upon a person fighting a zed in the street. I run by, he says something in russian and all the zeds attack him, lol! I run along, whistling.

..unless they are reading here and not coming forward. And will from now on only eat players carrying sporters.

Good job. Too bad You didn't make it but at least they lost more than you did. And you didn't get eaten :)

looks nice but whats the point of the furnace? Branding slaves?

Military bases and outposts and large citys should be overrun with zombies. Hundreds of them, making it a challenge to go there. As it is now theres barely more zeds in Elektro than i Msta. Can't render that many objects? Here's an idea, remove a thousand or so books thats just laying around everywhere.

The new military base is located Faaaaaaar further north-northeast of where you where. Don't go there its empty. Theres just some empty prisonbuildings and an empty barracks there as of yet. And a lot of holes to fall into :/ And if you break your legs and don't have rags, its a long long.....loooooong way to crawl to the nearest town, trust me. Don't go there.

A crossbow actually. I was sitting in a stairwell hiding after hearing m4 fire. A minute later a guy walks in, turns around and backs into the stairwell. He died.

Moms

I had a pretty eventful dayz. First I spawned near Kambiwobo and knowing its a hotspot I took it slow there. I saw a guy crawling around on the ground so I went up to him. He wanted me to kill him. i can fix your legs I said, no just kill me, he said so i did :/ I continued on to Elektro. I was scouting the city out with my longhorn when I heard shooting. I saw some guys on rooftops and decided to go down there. The server crashed so I logge din with anohter character, also in Elektro. Almost right away i was attacked by a puncher. I told him to just run away as I had a pump shotty but he persisted so i shot him. I continued into town and pretty soon I heard zombies attacking a player. I moved up and there was three of them chasing a bambi. He ran inot a house so i decided to shoot the zeds and help him. Unfortunately he got in the way and i killed him too :/ Then some people arrived, including a girl so we talked for a bit. A guy came up and screamed "You assholes!" and threw a spade at us. Then the server kinda froze. We could still talk and move our characters but we couldnt see the others doing anything so i logged out and logged in with my first character in elektro. I went into the firestation and as I was making my way down from the roof someone shot at me. I had to duck halfway down and hide on the roof. I tried rolling down but died. I respawned near cherno. Went into town and found a shitload of bow arrows. I made a bow and was making my way out of town when I was shot. I respawned nearby and made it to my corpse that was unlooted so i continued on. i could hear shooting in Cherno but went to the highrises instead. The bow was quite nice but the range on it is way to short, kinda 20-30m and retreiving arrows is a nightmare. They should make the range at least 50 m before you need to compensate and make the arrows retreivable through the loot inventory. I could onlt retreive 2 out of 24 arrows which really sucks, making it a useless weapon. I found a shotty and went to the airfield. I could hear someone shooting, first with a magnum and then an sks. I snuck around for a bit then went to the prisons. Strangely there were no signs off combat. No corpses and no loot. And no dead zeds either. I went into a safe house outside and logged off.

How low can you sink? Last time I played I met up with a swedish guy, We partnered up and ran aroudn for a while. Unfortunately he killed a Bmabi for no reason so i got a bit cross with him but we continued playing. After a bit we decided to quit and said our goodnights and stuff. Today when i logged in with my character he was naked and cuffed in the middle of the NE airfield. Needless to say i died minutes later. Why would anyone do that? He already knew what gear I had and there was nothing he needed as we had already traded. A-hole.

Every time I've met a group of players that play together as a clan or group it ends in the exact same way. One guy is friendly and says they aren't going to kill me, then another shoots me in the legs or tries to cuff me or just kills me outright. Now I simply avoid them if I can or shoot a few for sport if they spot me.

I haven't seen this in a very long time and thought it was fixed.
