I've found them mostly in police stations.

Today I met people, some nice and some less nice. First i came to balota with a semi-geared character. Almost right away a guy with an axe attacked me for no reason. I avoided him and told him to stop but he wouldn't. Then I noticed why. There were two people with guns chasing him and he probably thought I was one of them. I hid but a lot of zeds came and flushed me out. They killed the guy and I shot and wounded one of them but got hit myself a few times. One guy then chased me into the big building with sliding doors but I could sit and play door with him for a bit while bandaging, then i burst out and killed him. I was just gonna reload and get the wounded guy when I noticed my bullets had gotten ruined. I didnt have time to split them so I ran instead. I didn't get far as someone shot me from afar with a winchester. I guesss they were three :/ I respawned and met some nicer people. not one attacking me and most talking and trading. Til I got to Chapaevsk. I heard someone eating as i was moving up the hill from cherno and saw a guy sitting in the grass eating. I said hello but he didnt respond so I moved on. After exiting the prison building I see him run across the street a bit ahead of me. He sees me and takes cover and almost immediately someone snipes at me from the high rises. i run into an apartment building readying my sporter. Nobody comes in so I check for the sniper. i cant spot him so I set a mine at the stair and wait. I wait for almost ten minutes but nobody comes. I decide to make a night of it and log out. Exciting stuff. I also played with another character but met no people with it. I found a v3s and a kashtan scope though. It doesnt fit on the ak47su though so I need to find something else. Also looking for a gun to fit the hunting scope on with that character but sofar only found a trumpet and a blaze but no blaze ammo.

I've found one hunting scope, and I found it in one of the new school buildings.

I'm enjoying this patch also. Most things work and its quite easy to gear up after you've died. But I'm pretty sure all the "Bear-gryllers" are tearing their hair out. Found my first Hunting scope yesterday so now I just need a gun to put it on. It didnt fit on the mp5 :(

Zombies are not respawning, so if somebodys killed a bunch in a town there will be no more zombies there til the server is restarted. Also, Infected, not zombies. But just yesterday I was moving through cherno and as I passed a wall theres a massive grouping of zeds around a dead player just around it. I snuck quietly away. Must've been like ten or twelve of them making no noise at all.

The equip thing seems to be desync-related. Its annoying as hell sometimes. Its even worse when you can get your weapon up but cant shoot it.

I found one in one of the wrecked military jeeps.

I had a weird and deadly thing happen to me yesterday that i've never had before. I spawned outside Berezino and was lucky enough to find an improvised backpack with some stuff in it that someone had left behind. In it was a Cr75 with a full clip so i felt big and strong. As I entered the police station a numb guy attacks me with an axe so i do some evasive manuevers and stand ready with my gun as he bursts through a door, I press the trigger and ecpect his head to burst open like a melon, instead .....nothing. Absolutely nothing happens, no clicking or anything. i curse loudly and run away. As I'm running with numb axeman behind me, I take out the clip, empty it, reload and ready the gun. I give it another go...nothing. I continue on my run and after not being able to convine numb axeguy to give up the chase i simply jump in to the water so he cant get to me. As i get to shore i again empty the gun checking all parts which are pristine. I chamber the gun with one bullet but it still wont fire so I toss it. Numb axeguy shows up again so i run towards some gunfire I hear, hoping they will kill him. i managed to elude him and find a hatchet. Soon he appears and I whack him for a bit til hes bleeding and chase him around laughing insanely. After a while I grow bored so I leave him to bleed and go about my business. I find another gun but cant pick it up. As I check my inventory I notice that the damn CR75 is still there, even though I tossed it on the beach. As I ponder my misfortunes mute axeguy appears and shoots me dead with a pistol.

I get lots of lag right after log-in and occasionally some desync but nothing at all like what you are describing. And i play on those servers you listed. Its quite playable. Also, bear in mind that server performance its not the same thing as player performance so we might not notice that big a difference on our end.

I stole some guys truck at Stary sobor while they were looting the tents. Then I drove like a madman and crashed it so the fuel only lasted to Veresnik mil base where it ran out just at the base. I had to tail it out quick.

I found nice things in a guardhouse. Then I ate some blue berries and died. I left all my gear in a house in kabaninho. People seem to enjoy crashing their trucks, I found two crashed ones with no gas in them, also found a blackskull balaclava in a regular house. At first I thought things worked much better in 0.57, picking things up for example and vaulting over fences. Then it went back to normal.

I met a friendly player! Great patch.

Balota don't have any military loot, the barracks were removed some patches ago and the only weapons spawning are non automatic rifles and pistols. Go to prison island for brrt action.

I just wish all the things that once worked will work again at 100%, its so damn annoying to find all the tools needed to do something and then that mechanic is bugged, even though it worked in patches before. Also that the legbreak bug and spinal bone situation is fixed. Other than that, if there is loot, I wil play.

I knew it was all those flashlights that was hogging the performance.

Its summer now. Probably autumn.

Anyone need some rak mags? Btw, this character died falling off a ladder at nwaf. Kinda dissapointing.

I would like it if there was a game mode where everybody logs in as a newspawn and when you leave the server, that life is over. You play til you drop or decide to end it. I don't think this should be the standard game mode but more of a quick-trip if you want to do something different. As the game is right now the exciting part of it is the gearing up part, surviving with very little against all odds and better geared players. Once you get geared, the only challenge that exist is pvp, which isn't working super-great.

Is growing working better in 0.57 then? Since its a bit of hit and miss in 0.55. Sometimes you can't plant seeds, sometimes you can't water it etc. Its quite annoying to gather all the stuff needed and then not get something planted anyways.

Quite eventful day today. I logged in in Cherno as an almost newspawn and went to the bluetop building looking for a gun. As Im climbing the ladder I hear shooting above so i approach carefully. At the secondmost top floor a guy sits reloading a mosin so i rush up and punch him. He drops. I check him and hes alive so I steal his mosin and backpack and ammo and leave him. I climb down and rush away. As I check the gear it turns out that the mosin didnt stick so im stuck with a silenced makarov :/ Still, food, water and ammo aint so bad. I stick around the town and after a while I hear mosin shooting and I see that the guy is still on the server. Good for him. I go to elektro and log out. I log in with another character on prison island. Nobody is there but some nice loot is. I swim to the shore and go to Kamarovo. Since my boots broke going ashore I run to the policestdation. Having just found a new pair a guy rushes in. hes fully geared with a shotgun in his hands so i mow him down. I check his body and hes dead. As I begin to loot him two more guys enter, i shoot one more and retreat under fire. The guys talk to me spouting the normal bullshit fo "you didnt need to shoot" " Come down, we wont shoot" etc. This bores me as I know from experience that if I hadnt shot them they would have killed me, which I tell them. And waddyaknow, even as they are trying to talk me into giving up and get fair treatment, one of their guys snipes at me. I get a good position and wait but they do not come so after five minutes or so I log out. I log in with my public character and hes also in cherno. Theres someone shootign with an ak so I set upon finding him. I quickly find him as hes shooting a newspawn trying to knock him out. I take some potshots but they dont seem to hit, strangely enough. I follow him and he killes three more newspawns attacking him. I hear him go into a house and seeing a corpse in teh doorway I naturally assumes its the house he entered. I toss a flashbang in and enters but its empty. Turns out hes in the house next door. I wait for him to exit but after ten minutes I give up and log out. .

Only one dead today. Shot dead by some wannabe-kos:ing bastard sniper asshole after stepping out of a truck in Myshkino mil base. Got into a firefight in cherno with another character and killed one guy. After sitting in a room waiting for ten minutes I noticed the server had crashed :/

Everybody was kung-fu sniping!. Unfortunately this is something that will happen. A lot. There is no way to avoid it unless you wanna sit in a bush all day. But a good way to avoid being shot it to move a lot and to wait and listen for a while before moving into cities and villages. Often you will hear shooting and can pinpoint the location and avoid them. There are also maps ingame to find and use.
