I met two armed players in Cherno who didnt kill me. A first for me. It was probably because I rp:ed a doctor looking for blood.

I proposed a long time ago that fall damage be removed or reduced to leg breaking to make the so called "leg-break bug" not kill me all the time and also remove suicides. People didn't like it though. I haven't had this bug since 0-57 myself though. I do get leg damage for no reason sometimes though. It can happen just walking in the woods or in a one story building. or swimming.

When I started playing 0.59 the game ran much better than before. Better than 58 and 59 exp. It also looked better for some reason. Now, that is gone. The game actually runs worse in towns than before. I have no idea why. I run the game on quite high quality and have done so always as I notice no improvement but an extreme loss of quality on lower resolutions. It does differ between servers quite a lot so i guess it has to do with items rendering in the world somehow.

I spawned near Balota, picked up some stuff and went towards Komarovo. I meet a guy asking for directions and when I turn around he tries to knock me out. What an A-hole. He then tries to apologize but fuck that guy. I play with this character for a bit but nothing more happens so I go for an new one. I Spawn in the north somewhere and meet a few people running around aimlessly but at least they dont attack me. I then meet a guy outside Novo who shoots me after talking for a while. Another total A-hole. I spawn outside Cherno and pick up some crap, I hear some shooting in the town but stay in the outskirts. I see a cop car in the road outside cherno so i run to it. While looting it I see two guys approaching. One is geared with some guns and the other has a chainsaw. I am sure they will not be friendly so i shoot the chainsaw guy but nothign happens ofcourse. I run away and try to reload but it doesnt work ofcourse. The geared guy shoots twenty or so shots before hitting me but I manage to put chainsaw guy beetween us so he hits him, breaking his legs. I try to get my hathcet out but it doesnt work ofcourse so I resort to punching. I hit a few times but nothing happens ofcourse so Im hit and fall unconcious then die. An error then appears so when i respawns i can hear the two guys talking over comms for a good ten minutes. I chuckle a bit when the geared guy apparently cuts up my corpse, losing all my gear. I respawn in Brezino and A-holes are as usual around the police station killing everyone. I run away. I gear up for a while and meet a guy whose response to my hello is to raise his weapon and yell threatening things. I leave and log out. I really hope something better happens toaday.

I heard a magnum shot nearby so climbed a highrise bulding to scope the surrounding area. I get to the top and is shot dead. When i respawn in Svet some hack is INSIDE the statue in front of the church.

A funny thing happened yesterday. I was playing 0.58 again due to the desync issues and played on the crazy russia server. I went to Elektro and there where some players with m4s killing everyone. i onyl had a shotgun so not a big chance for me. Anyway, as I was running away from a player I noticed a guy running to sniper hill so i made my way there, snuck up on the guy and blasted him with a shot from my shotgun. I took his m4 and other stuff and ran. As I got away from the other guy I checked out the loot. The guy was probably a duper as the m4 was fully decked, he had a smersh vest, three 60 mags and six more 40 mags! One can of food and two waterbottles and a protective case with meds. And also he had eight SVD mags and extra 7.62. I started to wonder about that and I recalled he was holding something in his hands but as he slid downhill I had to go to his corpse and the m4 was on his body. I missed out on an SVD! I tried to make my way back but couldnt even find his body and it seemed dangerous to stay there so I legged it instead, narrowly avoiding another fully decked out guy with an m4 running towards town. I tried 0.59 today and it ran very good. No desync. Didnt see a sinlge player.

Wrong. You should continue to play the nice guy and not become the bad guy. It solves nothing.

I found this bus in the ditch. it had a pristine battery, plug and lights and four good wheels but no fuel. I didnt find any fuel ofcourse. You rarely do when you need it.

Something unusual happened. I went to the NW airfield and as I was leaving the Quonset hut a guy runs up and attacks me. I heard him a split second before so we exchanged a mag or so at eachother in the trees and I got hit and had to hide. I wasnt bleeding so i just reloaded and waited. After a while the guy starts talking over comms but I cant locate him so I reply with text. It turns out he and his mate got attacked just before and thought I was the culprit. After a bit we decide to be friendly instead, so we and his friend chat for a bit then go our separate ways. More of such things plz.

I logged in on the running man server, turned out I was on top of triple yellow in cherno with a bambi character. There was a military tent up there so seems some hacksters had played around. A few other people turned up and I died from something, dont know what. I respawned in Svet and ran around collecting rags when a guy with a stick appeared, asking me to be his apprentice. When I refused being the apprentice of a squealer he killed me with one poke of his stick. I respawned in cherno and went to the NW airfield where i was shot by some not talkative people. I respawned in berezino and went all the way to cherno, killing a few people with my chainsaw. One of the kills was a bit crappy as I thought the guy said "kill me" but he was actually saying "dont kill me". I couldnt hear it over the roar of the chainsaw and my maniacal laughter. Then I ran out of gas so I legged it. I found a guy crawling in the middle of the road with broken legs, at first I thought he said "kill me" but it turns out he wasn't. So I gave him a stick and a repeater instead. I miss my chainsaw :(

I dont remember the first time but I do recollect once in Balota military base when a blonde girl runs up to me with an axe raised. I shoot her and bandage her. I say not to do anything stupid as i have a gun but still, she wakes up and attacks so I shoot her again. I then bandage her again and wait for a while but It seems she relogged or died after banadaging. I also once came upon two guys punching someone laying unconcious on the ground so I shoot them and bandage the other guy. He runs off and shortly after the two guys show up again and attack me. I run from them, then talk to them for a bit and give them my stuff freely.

In order for a gun to work properly with a suppressor it needs subsonic ammo, like the VSS uses. Normal ammo will still be loud and the suppressor will wear out very quickly. In the mod there was actually SD ammo for some weapons and perhaps it will arrive some day seeing as they introduced it for the vss. The silenced weapons dont make much sound if you keep your distance to your target.

Actually I believe what was found was that the more items you carry inside clothing, the more damage you take. The best thing is to carry everything inside containers. But its not super-important as most rifles kill you with one shot irrregardless of your clothes/armour. its kinda dumb since in real life the whole object of a ballistic vest or plate carrier is to prevent bullets from getting through it. Lets hope they develop this further.

Nice guys. I've given away three hunting scopes but never gotten any back. I did get a knights full helmet by one guy though.

This is true. I tend to switch between 0.58 and 0.59 now and then and always get killed by some dirty hacker or glitcher on 0.58, at least once a night. Its kinda sad when theres not enormous amounts of players playing and some may leave due to these griefers ruining things for others. They aren't really playing the game so why should they be allowed to ruin it for those that do?

Mine was in Cherno. I went into the factory building down by the docks and there was a guy there. I said Hi and he went for his mosin so I shot him with my pistol. Thats also the story of how I found my first Mosin with a long range scope. This was back in dec 2013, I had only played for a few days.

Its kinda strange that you cant wear the jacket over the shirt. Yesterday when it was cold I wore a t-shirt, shirt, sweater and jacket. And I didnt get overheated and died.
