Food Aspect - Surviving with Energy

Yeah, you're character wouldn't be in a server. Maybe there's a large massive server that holds data for each player, that data is all calculated and changes how your characters health is, when you come back, the server you go on sorts that stuff out even better. So that giant server would just be a data collecter an supplier. Or even maybe if it's too much, when you log off and comeback, it checks how long you've been off and decreases the amounts of health or whatever.

Food Aspect - Surviving with Energy

People aren't reading everything! If you can't play everyday then if you're off for example a year, you would be extremely hungry and all your food supplies are gone.
  3. Tents should be open to everyone, that issue of looting is a problem for many and a great gift for others. To solve that while still letting players be able to loot stranger tents would be to add in camouflage. Not just the tent but where we could chop bushes and branches down an collect them, then cover our tent up with them, there should be a certain extent to how much they look like a bush, like you could see maybe the tips of the tent coming out. The game wouldn't say "Cannot apply anymore." that would make it feel restricted and limited and ruining the simulation, it should maybe say "Cannot apply due to weight pressed on object." making the player understand that the tent could collapse. As to bodies, they should be open for looting and we could drag them out of sight in a bush since if anyone cross sees the body, he would know something went down here and he should take caution, also a body should de-spawn within maybe 6-8 hours, slowly falling into the ground or something. If a player owns something like a tent and dies, the tent shouldn't de-spawn for maybe 5 days since if it was kept forever that may create massive amounts of lags, if someone comes along and opens the tent before 5 days, that tent becomes his and will not de-spawn anymore, and it will also say so, that it is his now. I don't know about players being able to steal tents though or belongings from others, since it's the same as stealing a vehicle. Any ideas?

    Zombie Aspect - New Ideas!

Yea I like the idea, but instead of zombies being impossible to kill like before the games coding should be improved and so on. When the throwing aspect gets implemented, we should be able to throw rocks or bottles away from the path we want to take to get the zombies to move and then we could cross. Also the snipers on the hill make lots of noise when they shoot, there should be a consequence for that, like maybe traps could be implemented in the game or barbed wire installing to stop any zombies from coming at you while you snipe, then when you're done you kill them off, clean up, and leave the area before Frankie comes and serves justice. I am not a bandit by the way, just saying there should fairness for all players in the game. The glitches in the game already make that possible haha, but I like the way you think! ;)

Blocked Off Rooms - Breaking in Rare Rooms

Thanks, looking back I kind of agree about not having too many bolt cutters, just one or maybe a slight chance of two would be fine. I like your name too! Also your straight forward attitude. B) Yeah, new spawns should have access to this but should also be hard since they're "new". Well, maybe if they spent 10 minutes hitting it with an axe it would finally open but would be kind of disappointing to find maybe a zombie roaming inside and nothing else. Haha I don't know, the idea isn't official and chances of DayZ developers seeing this is very slim! That's why I'm not keeping my hopes up but always be waiting ;) .
  6. Some people in the game can just log off and come back with all of their inventory items and health just as they left it. There should be a better reason for us to go out and find food more often. Before we go off and we can look at our food supply and that will tell us somewhere in the inventory how many days can be spent logged off with the food supply you have left. So while you are off, your character is waiting standby still consuming food and drinks that you have available. So there's a reason to keep coming back and check on their characters health. There's still a reassurance though, if you cannot for some reason open DayZ to check on the character for the time the character has been left on stand by, and he runs out of food, when you come back you will be left very hungry and have maybe 20 minutes or 10 minutes until you starve to death. This is just so characters are not lost so easily. What do you think? Give me your beans if you like my idea! I need to survive too you know?!

Blocked Off Rooms - Breaking in Rare Rooms

-BUMP- Thought maybe more people should see this! Sorry if you don't want me to do it again you can send a PM, first time for me doing this so I don't know if it's done a lot in the forums, it doesn't say in the rules that it isn't allowed so... .

    Zombie Aspect - New Ideas!

So all of us know this DayZ game started out as being a mod for the game Arma II. The reason this game became so attractive to gamers was the guidelines of the game were to survive. The Infected Zombies, that's the reason this game is popular but we are forgetting all about the zombies in the game! We should be making zombies harder to fight or atleast harder to kill, maybe they should inflict more damage but we really need to make the game more towards the zombie and player survival. So what we could do is making zombies something that players want to be as far away from or just a hassle for players. In the new upcoming game (----), the zombies are extremely hard to fight and they keep showing up in hoards. I hate that because if you kill a zombie in (----) all the others are attracted and there is a very hard chance of you surviving. I want zombies to have a better AI system, In buildings they should still only walk but they know how to fin their way to you. Doors that are closed should not be able to have zombies come through them since you're trying to get away. There are some suggestions saying that we should be able to hide within hoards of zombies to travel without fright of getting killed. I'm just saying that we need to make zombies atleast have as frighting effects as players do, The moment you get an axe, you devour all zombies with one hit kills. You've probably heard this so many times but please tell me what you guys think and if you have any suggestions about this problem, if it is one, comment on it below. Thanks!

    few personal wishes for future

I like the ants idea, maybe if you shoot at them and you're close you'll start feeling pain and have run in water or run in circles haha. Maybe if you accidentally stand or sit on one there is an animation with ants all over you and your character freaking out refusing to shoot until he gets most off. There are tons of ideas that could be taken advantage of for this!

A new approach to the bandits and heros situation

There should be perks of being a bandit also, I'm not a bandit and never will be, I'm also not a perfect hero. I fall in the range of a 7 or 8, since I help people out when I can, if I see some Bambi getting bullied by a group of four or five and I'm at a Sniper Hill, I probably won't help out if I'll be easy to get rid of but if it's one or two, I would definitely step in. Heros should have perks and cons, for example they can hear footsteps louder and see better by making things more noticeable by like 20%. Their cons would be maybe getting sick easier or always a bit more hungry. Bandits should have pros and cons as well, they could be faster by maybe 10% and they could stay without food for longer times or be more energetic than others when hungry. Their cons would be less aware of surroundings, maybe their viewing range is decreased or hard to see people in the distance really far away. The people in between 1 and 10 should have better percentages of those perks and cons once they near a hero or bandit character. You should never try to give bandits the awful side of the game! Everyone deserves fair advantages even if they are jerks! This will cause everyone to be a hero and maybe many people would leave DayZ as there would be no thrill left in the game. You always have to have bandits and always heros, and always the people inbetween that are wanted by both.

    DUCK TAPE used for labels

Maybe some objects are slippery? I don't know but it seems more DayZ themed to use a duct tape, Haha I know it's stupid of thinking that but I always want us to have to look for the loot and use it once we see it.

    Injection Vial

Great idea but instead of that maybe putting zombie or poison inside a blood bag and telling bandits who need blood, your blood or the blood bag is O- which is safe for everyone to use. You would just wait for their death to arrive and then get yourself out of the handcuffs, take their gear, and move on. A good trick for blood bandits who are jerks.

    DUCK TAPE used for labels

The idea does seem interesting but I can't imagine always having a marker with me. If this is implemented into the game it would have to be now or never, or in a rare occasion at the end product. Since we need this and the code would be short and keep our things organised. I give the idea 7/10! I wouldn't use it once implemented, maybe once I have lots of time on my shoulders than I would consider stopping somewhere with a bunch of duct tape and a marker organizing all my items.

Blocked Off Rooms - Breaking in Rare Rooms

Thanks for your feedback Heav, but I was thinking more rare than 50% of the buildings, and not apartments only houses in the middle of the country side, you know where not many people go. I would think it would be 10% of the houses in towns and the lone homes. Also, yes there could be a chance of absolutely nothing but it would be better if for example the probabilities were exact on point. For example: 10% - Finding nothing inside. 50% - Finding random supplies, shoes, clothes, maybe a not so good bag. 20% - Finding very good medical supplies 20% - Finding a good amount of food. 10% - Finding a rare gun, a rare military backpack that has lot's of space, or maybe finding a rare limited item in the game. You know how there are black markets in some games. Maybe they should put in like in every 1 in 10 servers, a special rare black axe or a green silenced pistol that has great aim an would be a three or four shot kill in the chest. Or maybe have only 100 of them in the game, one across each random server. People would trade them for maybe excessive amounts of medical supplies, foods, weaponry, anything just for that rare item. Maybe clans would have an easier time trading for them. It would make the game way more interesting by adding them!
  15. As it's very hard to find loot sometimes, I think DayZ should have secret rooms. When you enter a house you would see chains that close off a closed door that you cannot enter and inside would be rare loot, or maybe a pistol and some food, or medical supplies that are limited ofcourse, something that would really help in a random occasions if you really need it. Getting in that room is another matter, here are my methods I thought of : Method One: Using bolt cutters to get in, maybe some chains are harder for example there are Type A, B and C cutters, and chains would vary from Type A, B or C. Type C cutters could cut through type A-C but not vice versa. Different cutters take up different amounts of blocks in your pack, from 2 - 3 spaces. Method Two: Using lock picks to get through the lock and break through. There could also be lock pick types! Lock picks could take up one block in your pack. Method Three: Using a gun that is very powerful, I'm not a fan of this as many people have guns and if you have a very powerful gun it would give you an advantage to use it as a weapon and a tool. So maybe if only a certain type of gun that is in between very powerful and very poor in damage. Also you could make that "new" gun a bit inaccurate or hard to aim with. Another thought is to have all other guns when you shoot at it, you hear a bullet bouncing off sound and maybe a chance of someone close by getting hurt but not to the extent to lose blood. Also maybe the "special" gun that can get through, is only able to get through Type A locks or chains. Other advantages: When you come across while your looting one of these homes, you see that it has already been broken into, this could be a sign that someone is around. Something else IMPORTANT to add in is maybe on the blocked doors, there would be blood or marker writing saying something like 'DEAD INSIDE - STAY OUT' maybe that in Russian, also inside could be a zombie or two roaming the room. Just to give that thrill feel that you might be in trouble once you open the door, or not. If you read through all of this, thanks I appreciate it! I have many other ideas that I will post soon, this is my first suggestion... Please tell me what you think!
