I didn't. Bohemia isn't very interested in fighting cheats. Duping is acceptable behaviour judging from their responses, DayZ mod was completely unplayable if you did not play on a private hive. However, I have yet to witness any cheating in DayZ SA.

Meh, another optimization guide that doesn't speak about the difference between having the CPU and the GPU render. If certain settings fall bellow a threshold, the CPU will take over. I still don't know exactly what settings those are because every "guide" I run into just speaks of the obvious. Yes I know turning off AA gives me a performance boost, I've known that since the 90's ...

I think gunshots are loud enough. They can be heard across most cities. You don't want the sound to bleed into the environment too much because that would just be confusing.

This game looks and feels ancient to me. I definitely do not play this for the realistic graphics, especially not with the way the game runs on my system. I was looking at Skyrim and wondered why DayZ couldn't run that smooth and look half as good.

What "shit"? The only thing that wears down is your axe when you chop trees. And your equipment when you get shot. The latter is a bit excessive most of the time, obviously pants with a hole in 'm aren't going to be "ruined" and the blood can be washed out. Well, mostly. Remember: soak in warm water!

It stands to reason that the firearm will be heavier to hold. What would a fully loaded clip weigh, about half a kilo?
