Waterproof = Gorka jackets, raincoats. Unless they're ruined. Not waterproof = everything else. (I think... :huh: ) -
Atm, I only have what's on my list. Guess I could get out and look for some protectors... I'm just worried about double carrying, etc.

The plate carrier itself is not that hard to find. The pouches and holster that can go with it, however, are. Very. -
Updating. I'd also be prepared to trade for pristine AK parts (PSO, rail guard, folding stock, etc) I've also had a lot of hot chat from people about this trade, but no one has followed up properly, which is a tad annoying.

PSOs are very rare these days. Don't trade it short.

I wouldn't risk trying to shoot him through the windows. I under stand your question I doubt it. From memory, your true aim is actually slightly below the screen dot, which is why your sight was below the frame. I wouldn't take the chance in any case. I would have camped the building until he came out and I had a clear shot (though I think that house has more than one exit...) -

Roughly 25% of al the Euro "public" servers I play on are exactly like this. There's even an apparently public Gameservers server that regularly kicks me. The question is whether this problem can be solved by reporting, rather than something a little more drastic. -
Are heli crashes still borked on persistent servers?

It's the other way around since 0.54. The heli crash shows. But there's no loot at it (or at most one item at a time). They probably do still spawn with loot immediately after Wednesday maintenance though. I could have forgiven the missing attachments if this had been sorted. :( -

Incorrect I'm afraid. They spawned raincoats (many, many raincoats...) in 0.53. Now at least some of those raincoats have been replaced by M65s. -

Yes, it would be very helpful to know. Of course it's a...bit of a first world problem though. Eugen sounded about 50/50 on this. I'm guessing if it's doable, it'll be done on Wednesday, so plan to leave a lot of inventory space open then. -

I'm pretty sure that the heli crashes aren't working on persistent servers. The crashes spawn and are visible, but no loot is spawning at them. -
Yaz might be right. It's hard to tell yet. But if the crashes I'm seeing are on servers that are actually p:off, why are there so many with zero items? I'm approaching double figures...could be bad luck I guess.

Mmmm...heli crash lootgasms. I'm finding lots of crashes (it's like 0.48), but nothing at all at them.

Are people actually finding loot at crash sites on persistent servers? I did at first, but the last few have been completely empty - no chemlights, berets or anything else...

Go to any stony area (eg the beach), point at ground and hit F to "search for stones". When you find one, look at the stony ground again and hit F again to "craft stone knife". It will take up one inventory slot and opens cans very well.

memory leak + non-persistent inventory

I've pretty much given up playing until it's sorted/hotfixed. I don't think I'm alone. -
This is absolutely 100% right. As I've said before, if you do happen to find an M4, just PM me and I'll arrange to pick it up and throw it into the sea for you.

I've found a lot of M65 jackets so far at crash sites (they seem to be the new raincoats...). But I leave them because I'm not sure if they're waterproof (a la Gorka) or not. They do have two more inventory slots than the Gorka jackets though.

Hydration is pretty broken in 0.53 in my view. Unless you're prepared to pull the F11 trick, the only way to get hydrated is by drinking full canteen after full canteen. -
Oooh, I assumed that you were more or less invincible if you were driving. Can you be shot while in the truck now then?
