So I am wondering if the persistent on servers, keep the loot of helicopter crashses after each restart? So if server restart 3 times there will be 9 potential spots with loot on the ground? If no one looted them? I am aware of all the other issues etc.. All I want to know if they work like this on persistent ON. Also anyone got good map for helicopter crashes..? That is upto date.. The helicrashsites were taken away from DBmap.. :(

Hi, If anyone still would come read this thread does anyone know if it can spawn less than 3 helicopters on 1 server? Because I joined a fresh restarted non persistent server I went to ALL locations on the map literally all of them.. It took me hours.. And I found only 1.. It was the one that has no smote and has smersh vest....

Well... If you got problem with zombies as freshspawn I suggest practice the game, play alot more.. Eventually it will be easy as nothing.. Smartest is to just keep running almost never stop.. And if they come closer just walk to the side when they try to attack and they miss.. Run run run and try find a melee weapon as quick as possible. -
Items in pocket make you take more damage! Idk if its just for bleeding or if its for losing health..

Ok so 3 crash sites from wednesday to next wednesday on persistent servers? Does the loot stack up on these crash sites then each restart? Like each restart give more loot on the crash site?

I would suggest getting standalone as its easier to get and start.. The mod takes a bit to do.. Also mod is outdated in my opinion and the arma2 interface is crap.. Standalone is better then mod but got less vehicles and guns at the moment.. But has alot of other features the mod does not and run smoother in my opinion.

Well I would not really want have to walk since it would be even slower then running... But i rather run then using a car.. I have hijacked already like 4 cars since yesterday and killed maybe 7 people that used cars just because they made too much sound and it was easy to tell what they were thinking and I could make a trap..

The helis i saw was on normal server then I guess, and they must have thought it was persistent.

Don't go to berezino, do not lock yourself in, learn to not meet the hackers. If you want action be smart keep moving stay away from the shore.

I would suggest police stations.. They spawn in the long room at the shells alot...

Shooting someone when they are drinking is tactical, if you want to drink, do it hidden! :)

They do.. I have seen them with my own freaking eyes on dayz streamers, ON persistent servers.

Very nice, I feel the trucks are so damn hard to find now tho in stable.. looked for hours found 1 truck drove around a little.. Fuel out.. And then thats it.. :/

I want that on the Air control tower, people will draw attention to it and then I can sneak up and kill everyone who makes noises! :DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD and xD!

People who say heli crashes don't spawn on persistent are just stupid.. I have seen heli crashes on streams several times on patch 0.50 stable persistent server.

0.51 is now stable.. It should patch for you...
