I've never used the f key. Only the mouse wheel. Never had a problem. Unbind f entirely, imo

Great question! The answer is very simple. There are no rules, and more importantly, no one gets hurt. You play dayz knowing you could die, yet you play anyway.

I assume everybody I don't know will shoot me for no reason. You better be good at not getting a gun pointed at you because I won't lose any sleep over ventilating a dude's head. Possibly jaded from hackers, bandits, and other people just like myself. Pretty much over it though, been murdered by people as a new spawn/bambi so many times it doesn't even matter anymore. I swear I remember seeing an update notice explaining that they removed loot from them. Makes total sense. Until they go 64 bit and use two cores they naturally have to give and take in order to work on new content. Zombie and loot spawns are much lower than the ideal because they're still working on it.

Good idea in theory. Not practical IRL. Even if it's done completely behind the scenes. Not that they could hide this system from the public anyway. Criminals are usually two steps ahead of the people chasing them. Hackers would find a workaround, I'd bet. Steam: "Hi! Buy our games! If you buy enough of our games you are less likely to have your experience ruined by hackers!" Me: "Time to go back to consoles, swtor, and wow, I guess." Not appealing at all. This system would not help me at all. Dayz SA is the only game I play on steam and I don't cheat at games.

I'm confident that the team will come up with something interesting. Something more involved and difficult than what we have now. Currently, you can farm any apple tree and drink from any pond to reach perfect health status. Don't get my wrong, it's great to have it easy while the devs flesh out the rest of the game!

Hi! Parasight5 (steam) here. Sometimes I go by 'Jeff'. Been pvping mmos since UO. When not at work, with kids, or with wife I'm probably trying to get killed in a video game versus another human player. Nothing gets my blood pumping nowadays like DayZ SA pvp. Sometimes a bandit, sometimes a hero, rarely a new spawn murderer. I live in central USA and am playing on appropriate servers. Hit me up if you're looking for new and interesting ways to die.

Meh... When my Lamborghini Diablo breaks down on the freeway I'm not expected to know how to fix it. I just use an app to find the nearest dealer. When I'm ordering authentic Asian food I'm not expected to learn simplified Chinese. Dude on the other end of the line is my online app. I didn't need to learn Russian in order to memorize the landscape.

You're absolutely right. 'Silly' is an extraneous word here. In general, I love silly videos! No hard feelings were intended. I'm not sure a video to get to the nwaf is entirely necessary. I encourage you to keep making videos if you like doing that. Instructional videos are prime bait for criticism so tread carefully.

Simple. Find train tracks. Run north or west on it. Keep going till you pass train cars and station. Keep going till you cross a big metal bridge. Cross bridge then head southwest (prolly into sun). Run across the big field to the hill you see in the distance. Reach top of hill and you'll be at the woodland prison which is just north of the nwaf: tent city. No silly video is necessary.

Or maybe have respawning loot?? Private servers+hive has never worked for mmos
