No. You shouldn’t be able to delete or whatever else you’re going on about. That’s not how the forum software was designed. If you don’t want your posts to be seen again then don’t post to begin with! Duh. The moderators don’t care about toxic posters because THERE ARE NO MODERATORS.
-
Oh. You made another forum account to troll with. How many is that now?

He streams 12 hours a day and cheats at it. Translation: provides no practical good to society.

Why do you put a disclaimer after all of the one sentence suggestions you just made? A baker’s dozen in ideas, all half baked and 8 years too late. None of them are fleshed out. Do you put this disclaimer because you realize they’re terrible? You realize these forums were created during alpha but we’re years past official release, right? Is this your first time on the internet and/or playing video games? Why so many dumb posts?

Personally, I think they shouldn’t have micro transactions because they said they weren’t going to have them.

Dozens of suggestions from you today. All of them great for early, early alpha design. The ship containing new and complex game loops and huge map reworks has long since passed. Keep the suggestions coming, but please try to make some that are feasible at this point in the game.

Heli crashes, convoys and trains are so cool
Parazight replied to Pyongo Bongo's topic in General Discussion
I agree. In the same vein, I'd gladly like to see bears and wolves wandering towns in Tier3 towns. More spawns there seems authentic. -
The numbers you give are so tiny. And adorable. I do agree that the process of becoming unbanned is convoluted, at best. But streamers aren't that important.
-
I'm not going to comment on the validity of this person's ban, however, I would say that coming to the official forums, where nothing can be done about the ban to begin with, and using the reasoning to unban him because he's a streamer, is a mistake. So, if BI unbans this person then the precedent is now set that the most successful way to appeal a ban is to go to the official site and claim you're a streamer. Seems bad. Streamers are not that important. Really. DayZ doesn't flourish because of people like Zesty Polvo. That's laughable at best and insulting at worst. And no, not everyone wants to see him play. I'm sure that there are at least two people out there who have never heard of this guy. Nobody wants to see innocent people get banned, myself included, but this is probably not helping his case at all. Maybe you should focus your efforts on the lack of quality service from the company (this error page) and not single out a friend you want unbanned.

and over base walls.

Highly unlikely that you purchased the game on 12.30.2022 Also highly unlikely that anyone here can do anything about your ban.

How the petrol stations have an unlimited supply of fuel
Parazight replied to lewtaedoung06's topic in General Discussion
Day zero of the infected apocalypse. Or whichever one ensures that I don't run out of gas. But seriously, the petrol problem is easily solvable. There are a few options. Spawn more Jerrycans. Siphon it out of car wrecks. Dynamic events. Whatever it takes. We need fuel to drive cars. It just can't be finite. There are options with modded servers, but unlimited fuel for official servers is completely reasonable. Imagine years after the fall of society when all gasoline is unusable. Is that really a video game you want to play in? Gross. -
How the petrol stations have an unlimited supply of fuel

It’s day zero. There’s lots of gasoline left. The refined gasoline that existed as the apocalypse started hasn’t separated at all yet. According to my story. This is MY story, after all, the dayz website said so. Literally open to any narrative. By design. -
There are no working buses on the PC platform. Buses haven’t been on PC for years. YouTube is not gospel.
-
Wherever did you see a bus on PC?
-
I agree. Barricaded houses would be welcomed. I don't know what most people would do in an apocalypse, but I wouldn't be building a 3 story house. I would probably pick out any one of the thousands of houses already built and just fortify it. Granted, I would have to check the map IRL first to see if gas bombs were going to spawn in that section of town so that I wouldn't be caught in one when I log in.

There are also *MANY* servers out there which are pve and prohibit base raiding. You’re not engaging in PVP. Why not find a different server? Like, one with pve mods that enhance your experience. This suggestion comes up a lot. Offline protection on official servers will never happen. Try community servers.
-
Yea okay whatever. It makes sense to go look for cars NOW. Sure. Maybe you don’t have enough time to build a base by yourself. The game was never meant to have secure bases. Maybe you should group up if you want a base. This IS just a pvp game. You have a sandbox, other people and ways to kill other people. Do the math.
-
pig steak? what’s the difference? No one, whose native language is English, will ever refer to anything as a ‘pig steak’. Same with ‘boar steak’.
-
Does it make sense to have property ownership during an apocalypse? Does it make sense to further bog down the server data for a mechanic that doesn’t make sense? The idea, which isn’t necessarily terrible, doesn’t really align with the developers’ vision of the game.
-
The idea of being vulnerable only when the base/wall creator is online and has been discussed before. Many times. It doesn't work out. There's no ownership in DayZ. The solution is to find a community/modded server.
-
Yes. Maybe you're right. Players DO need something to do while they wait out the rain and dark nights.
-
This has never been possible on official servers. Modded servers can easily enable this. e.g. BuildAnywhere mod.
-
I think you need to explore Livonia further.
-
Right. It’s new and in the patch notes.
