  1. Would also like to add an option for next thread from a staff member in each individual forum. Perhaps staff can have their posts colored differently as well (Rocket makes a post, post is colored pink, Griff makes a post, post is colored green) This should also help identify important information.

    Personal GPS and player stashes

+1 Tents do stand out way too much. Hiding backpacks would be more reasonable anyway. They are personal items, not holding a significant quantity of items, but could still be valuable. I would much rather throw my backpack down in a forest (which blends in nicely with the ground) vice placing a giant bright green and yellow tent which can be seen from 1000m away. You can do this now, but it is a giant PITA to find the pack after you drop it. Being able to mark it on a gps would help that problem. GPS need something anyways. They are essentially micro-computers that able able to transmit and receive satellite information. Every GPS I have used has all kinds of features. The ones we get in game seem pretty stale, even though they are still very useful, especially if you don't know the map very well.

    Graffiti / Markings Spray

Would love to be able to spray vehicles as well. Nobody in their right mind would drive around a bright yellow car. At the very least they would spray it completely black, and more logically it would get sprayed with some sort of camo pattern.
  4. Yes. And lets remove zombies until all the bugs are worked out as well. Players can just log into the servers and make a campfire singing kumbaya while holding hands and eating roasted marshmellows. You have made a giant qq post. I hope you expect it to get treated as such.
  5. You trusted a complete stranger and are surprised that you died. You set yourself up to fail.

    Colorblind setting.

+1 Not colorblind, but I definitely support this. Should be a standard feature on ALL games. Not sure why but it always seems like an afterthought to most companies.
  7. Use the search function. XenoACE already stated in a thread he has no intention of including ACE into DayZ.

Is the Bandit "Problem" Fixing Itself?

You are an idiot. The guy is playing the game intelligently, thinking before acting, and doing what he is supposed to do in order for him to survive alone. He isn't crying, and changing his words around doesn't make it any more of a qq post. I'm sure you can find an actual qq post somewhere in these forums. Please feel free to infect that with your stupidity.

    Goal: Avoid the Nuclear Holocaust

If you don't do something just because you're afraid of griefers' date=' then the griefers win. Their whole purpose is to find ways to ruin other people's fun. The only way to combat them is to keep having fun anyway. [/quote'] No, this expression is related to hackers, not griefers. Additionally you would have to see huge increases in available ammo in order for this to work, which means zombies would move even farther down on the care meter for most players. Our goal isn't killing zombies, it is surviving. Sometimes that involves killing zombies, but most of the time we are supposed to be avoiding them. I also don't see how you are going to avoid people just logging off the server, and I don't think the goal is to get people to stop playing the game.

    Goal: Avoid the Nuclear Holocaust

I see people joining servers in large groups just to grief others.
  11. Now avatars make someone look tough on the internet? Are you mental? Really can't tell if you're serious or trolling, but usually when I have to ask that it is the latter. You're right, it isn't my game. I never said it was. I just said people are trying to come up with a solution to a problem that doesn't exist. And then I said No, causing you to lose your mind because I, along with almost everyone else in the thread, do not agree with the idea. Someone doesn't agree with something you do, so you call them a kiddo and then tell them they are just trying to act tough by typing words on the internet. Fail.
  12. Let the adults discuss this matter kiddo. People are pointing out their own opinions' date=' this isn't just your game. [/quote'] Calling someone a kiddo on the forums makes you a grown up. Interesting. I pointed out mine, yet that isn't ok according to you. Hypocrite much? Edit: Ah I get it, you're one of those that thinks PvE servers need to be in the game. All makes sense now.
  13. Another thread of people trying to create ideas providing a "solution" to something that isn't a problem. No.
  14. Personally I think there needs to be way more zombies by the coast, more importantly, the major cities. Berezino, Cherno and Electro should have 10 times as many zombies spawn as they currently do (no kidding, they should be literally everywhere). There should not be the same zombie density in Kemenka as Cherno, doesn't make sense as cities have a much higher population. The flip side should be, since they are by the coast where the new players are spawning in, they should run a bit slower than player run speed. You may be able to outrun them, but if you are in the middle of a city, you can get surrounded by them if people are being dumb and shooting or running around for no reason. This will force new players to be mindful of zombies around them at all times, and hopefully increased number of zeds in the coastal cities will encourage more players to spread throughout the map. As players move farther inland, zombie density should be decreased a little bit, but their movement speeds should be increased, forcing players at the NWAF and NEAF to have zombies and players as equal threats. This could potentially be controlled by the quantity and rarity of the loot in specific areas. I would like to see people making use of the tools used to distract zombies a bit more. Having to clear a path because of sheer numbers would encourage that, and make going to places like the airfields even more dangerous. As it is right now, if you roll with 3 or 4 other people in your group, no one cares about zombies as you will have enough firepower to kill them all. I want even these group to potentially be overwhelmed if they are careless, and it would force people that want to go to places like the airfields to group up. Could also cut down on server hopping in the barracks if there were 20 zombies inside of each one, that also spawned in as soon as someone was in the area, and not 5 minutes after the server hopper has already looted everything. I'd also like to see gunshots have a larger effect on zed aggro. Shooting a M107 at the NWAF should cause 30+ zeds to come sprinting in your direction, and a single smoke grenade should not be able to distract them. Maybe some, but definitely not all.

    Army convoys

This actually happened before Rocket went to E3. I don't know if there was an official answer as to if it was a hacked in scripted event, or if it was a nice little present Rocket gave to us before he left, but I actually love the idea. It adds another element to the game, and definitely gives people who are sitting in a forest after they have everything already something to do.

My thought on a PvP fix.

It would essentially be the same thing as asking Rocket to have servers with no zombies on them to promote only PvP. Not only does it detract from the DayZ experience, it removes a major feature from the game.
  18. zipper

My thought on a PvP fix.

In your original post you said you understand the premise of the game. It has become apparent you do not.

My thought on a PvP fix.

So you play on a PvE server for 15 minutes and figure out how to get around zombies and switch servers. People have to pay for those servers. You really think people are going to pay for a server for you to play on for 15 minutes before they know you are going to leave? Yes actually' date=' it does change the game for everyone. Now instead of the small team of people they have working on one concept, the have to split their resources even more. This means longer times to release patches, longer times for bugs to be fixed, and longer times for new ideas to be put into the game by Rocket. I know they are working hard on the game, but it already takes long enough as it is for them to fix stuff. The last thing we need is something to be put in that makes it even longer. You should try not being a giant douche to people asking you a very basic question. He didn't ask LOlZ fUKtArd HoW COMe U CAN't PVPEEEEEEE?
