Actually it's working for any map and it's not important is it setted up or not. If map has preset for ambient music, then it will using that preset. If it's not - then would be used the Chernarus ambient preset. But I didn't yet tried to create my own present for custom map, so I guess I can't assist you with that, sorry...

I'm aware that's impossible. You know licenses and etc money stuff. I think that was the k9nd of handling the M4A1 as M4-A1 (by US Parents system M4A1 is AR-15 Carabine, but there's no M4-A1 in real life), same for KAM/KA101/KA74, the rights of Avtomat Kalashnikov (AK, on En that's meaning Kalashnikov's Assault Rifle) is now owned by Concern Kalashnikov (CK), so I guess they will not say: "Ah I see you wish to use AK name in the game, nah it's not a problem use it we don't see any issues in it...", nope, CK will say: "Oh you wish to use AK trademark in the game, it's not a problem here the contract that permits using 'AK' for and pay money for that contract (idk onece or each month) and then we have a deal...". I didn't seen the restrictions about Mosin 91/30, but the same SKS - is owned by Molot Arms, so go on, go on, go on... -

Welcome @merropa93 that's really sadly that @Kyiarahas leaves the DayZ and I think many players here will miss her. Nevertheless please don't afraid, in every case on the road it's always requires some time for adaptation and assimilation (ah heck it's from different story xD ), it requires some time to get into that river, first time it will looks like the storm, and then when you got into the rhythm and adapted to different forum users - the forum became to calm sea with soft wind that will move you across that sea. Anyway welcome to the forum, wishing you the good and clear way, without stupid and rude people, for example like me xD

Then find your own methods how to shoot own leg. I'd written most simple way without any kinds of mods client/server sides. If you don't like it to be honest it's not my problem 🙂 Anyway - have fun. -
DayZ Server change metabolism effect

Try to get deeper in the cfggameplay.json Ut might help you adjust energy consumption that's changes the metabolism itself. And to be honest not everyone wish to change that state of game nature. My suggestion is explore the game files in best case the file DayZ\dta\scripts.pbo Fo necessary classes and etc, I think you shall start exploration from PlayerBase.c file search the "keys" and "clues" that can help you find those data for rewriting/overriding and that may give you an awesome point for exploring and more precision understanding of DayZ systems from top-levels to the bottom-levels of system. -
Then don't waste your time, comment it out and test for 2 weeks. Then type the results and you'll find the reason is done for some special purpose or it's done for nothing. No, I'm not about to offend, i just suggesting you to explore and find the way how you wish to see it.

So I think you are not really good familiar with DayZ event Systems, so let me help you at the base other stuff You will done by your own hands because I'm not interesting to do everything instead of others. Try to check do you have any kind of Steam Workshop (SWs) ban/block. If you are using some kind of firewalls - add DayZ Publisher and Steam to allowed list. Idk that might help you. If you got ban on publishing to SWs - contact with Steam support and try to resolve it.

Actually BE can block any app that runs on your PC. No matter is that good or bad app. For example in Arma 3 when you're creating dll library extension you shall manually send it to the BE for exploring and whitelisted... Also on first dayz of DZ 1.25 I got Steam patch issue. Solved by removing the Addons folder and redownload. 🙂

I didn't want to implement it, it's already implemented. Just need to create the separate script file (just for clean code). I use that approach since 1.01 patch. -

It's not required a server mod, it's required only script that shall be executed on the server from chat event, and shall has 2 functions: 1) check objects in range X. 2) removing object by ID from list. Don't make everything more complicated then it should... -

Detect if player is new or respawn

Idea at the base is right but you had missed one important point. Here we talking not about user account, but about the user character. So whad did you missed? When character respawns the SteamID64/GUID is not changing at all. The way how it can be solved by overriding Server-sedi function CharacterKill amd after that you can make such trick woth SteamIDs json file. If new player connected, and called On Player Setup (called for freshly spawned non loaded out characters you can create the new. JSON on server-side, in overeide function KillCharacter you can get information about died character such as his Identity and perform the removing JSON file, for recreation of it, also place the information when file was created. That action can resolve the question in the base. 🙂 -
About sizes idk, I'm using old machine with 1080p and have no issues on Taviana map 60-80 fps. To be honest there's many ways to loose performance without even updates 🙂

Don't hurry up. If you don't want read previous infos it's your problem. When information about 1.25 appeared, there were one point, sound track will appear on account in 1 month. That's why don't hurry, take a time and don't live too fast 😄

Mate you possibly may got VAC ban for huge IP changing like you were in France the get to UK or somewhere else in EU / US and entered to the steam and then on official server. I'd seen that's happening quite often. Or you could give your account to friend (he didn't use bad tricks). But better contact with the Steam support, then Game devs and the with BE for resolving the issue with your account.

Based on Moscow/Kyiv time you shall await update & wipe in between 3pm (15:00) up to 7pm (19:00). I can't give you more accurate time. Basically it depends on the time when update would be published +1 hour (actually less, but everyone can make any kind of mistake or any issue so always add 1 hour for sure) 🙂

I'm disagree because the game consider the mass of weapon and it's length. I think the current implantation is fine but if be honest heavy weapons like AKM + 75rnd Drum (4.7kg + ~ 0.7 kg PSO + 0.6kg suppressor + 1.5 kg drum = 7.5 kg or 16.53 lbs), or DMR (M14 5.1kg + 1.2kg = 13.89 lbs) anyway if heavy, so I think it shall be harder to manipulate with rifle 🙂

Take the firearm with 60rnd mag and try to turn around while aimed with it. You'll found that most of peoples will cry that you're violation weapons rules, meanwhile you'll found that weapon is really go bit slower and you required to push it for saving stance and weapon response. It's fine stuff that's happening even in real world idk if you have MG friends in airsoft ask them about heavy MGs and ttry the same, it's weight would be about 4 - 5 kg. And you will find that's an issue in the game same as in the real world 😄

You have wrong theme name.Heap Corruption means that your game crashing... Ok the forums rules suggested using English only. So I'll try to explain how shall you do it. First of all your friend or you (idk who is admin of the test server) must create password-protectd server. Second stage you as developer shall build the map in result PBOs. 3rd stage: Sign all your's maps PBO (DsUtils) (P.S. Find on the youtube how to sign addons). 4th: when you've done with previous steps now starting the hardest ones: Create somewhere the "hive" of your addon(map, next I'll call it addon). Hive means some kind of tree with "branches" for: map release, map experemental/testing releases, and other branches like backups for keeping your project as recoverable if something went wrong (Trust me everytime something broken it's the rule!). 5th: In release folder create folder "My Map Name", inside it create next folders: Addons, Keys, ExampleMission.MyMap (Where MyMap = map name!!!) 6th: inside Addons - place all maps PBOs within signatures (file with the same name like PBO file but with other extension and has size about 1kb) 7th: in folder Keys - plays ONLY or .bisign signature file (server can't accept addons without that file and signatures). 8th: in folder: ExampleMission.MyMap - create example files for the server owners that could prepare their server to start the map. 9th: when you've done headup to the DayZ Tools -> Publisher, Create new Steam Workshop Project, as path set the release folder of your map's hive (level where located Addons, Keys and ExampleMission.MyMap folders). WARNING BEFORE PRESS PUBLISH YOU SHALL SET TYPE OF ADDON AS PRIVATE OR FRIENDS ONLY! (I'm sorry for the caps but it's really important). And when you'll be ready click publish. When you've done your friends can see that map, or you could send them the link to your private map. It's bit tricky but nothing hard. With my regards!

Has anyone reached the edge of the world yet?

Mate I will open small truth for you but shhhhhh it's only for you. The map is basically almost unlimited except the watter line.ax range from coast up to edge of map is about 23 or 32 km (sorry was there too long time ago). On other side from the coast to the top of the map it will end of wilderness empty ground, no forests water grass or whatever only the landscape. In Arma 3 on Chernarus map I'd flyed about 25 km out from end (edge) of the map and met the "radioactive zone" and then became dead. Idk how is it for DayZ SA, maybe someday I'll check it but not now. 😄
