You shall validate files through the steam. I guess you had an issue with file patching. Perform it twice to be sure that your game files is not malformed and has no any patch issues (it's hard to accept but even The Steam may get problems with patching system, so also perform the Steam platform update). Also check your GPU drivers for updates and it's own temperature coz overheating may thrown any bad results. -
Actually no matter who had bought that game. Only matters who owned that game. So uf he didn't like the game from his account should be requested the refounding. And as result the money could be returned to yours steam account or card. Never ever had such tricky refounds anyway wish you luck with with that.

Well it's a kinda odd stuff. From the start, I suggest you to validate over the steam your installation and clean logs. Perform the check disk because if everything works fine you'll not get such stuff, and validate all mods that you are using, Same as tryout any different server if you'll had no such stuff on different servers then congrats the server admin been hecked up with something on his own server. If you'll had the dame issues of anyonther/official server - recotd the video how do you start the game, then joining the server amd how's everything flying around and uploda to YouTube. After you'll done with that -create the ticket on Bug-Tracker coz it's quite wired. With my regards.

What a heck? Shoot your leg with .22 and place only the bandage. I promise if bullet not out from your lag you will have the good lead poisoning the wound begins to fester that will cause the gangrene and then the amputation of your leg and it requires only 1 maximum 2 months. So also need implement the antibiotics (that will slower the pus) realize the ability to clean and disinfect the wound (less chance that you got a trouble with wound infection, bust still save the shock state, morphine will remove the pain temporary but after end of the morphine the shock shall get bit lowly, but shouldn't be vanished to nowhere... It shall reminds you for the some time that you got hitted before. It's the same like you got recovering after the bone brake - painful and slow, in real live it requires about 2 months to get recovered after not huge bone braking. And not a 20 minutes, the 40 days. If you we're so dumb to get shooted down or brake the leg be ready to get the full love of reality. The reality - that's the main part that this game needs so badly. Lol we needs 1 or 2 .338 Lapua Magnum sniper rifles, as addition to under rated 7.62x54R - we needs SVT-40 (semi-automatic rifle from WWII), it may carry the bayonet (like FAL, M14 and SVD (can carry AKM (6H3)/AK-74(6H4) and laters bayonets even 6H8 (for AK-12 of 2022 year of modification), AUG (short version) bayonets, but dev team can't search for youtube to get videos, how to attach bayonets to those rifles so we will never get attachable bayonets to the rifles), SVT also can carry the Optics PU, but it used different scopes then Mosin Sniper Rifle (SVM) versions, so basically dev could reimplement the mounting system for optics and allow modding the scopes like HuntingOptics, Long-range Optics and PU Scope Optics to be mounted on different Rings and Adapters (yeah for Kochetov's mount system there's adapters for Viver/Pica rails that allows user mount new optics on the old soviet mount systems, same stuff there's for AK-based platforms (any AK/SVD-based rail mount point), those adapters existing in US since 90th, maybe even earlier) but we will not see such awesome way for upgrading the weapon system. Idk all scopes in the game has mounted rings on it, damn what da fk? You can remove the one rings place another one and use it for example I have powerful air gun, it has dovetail mounting rail, awesome I'd bought another rings for viver/pica rail system and now can use the scope on any rifle i want even on mine Mosin rifle... But will we find this in-game - never, will it be helpful and a huge game experience expansion - oh yeah, will we found it - perhaps never, why - it will broke all the balance but would be quite close to the reality (yeah you could able to give the SVD chance with better optics then PSO-1, same for other types because there's many different solutions for different mounts systems but everything been messed and simplified to loose the taste of reality and possible conditions, only cheap bullsh*tty solutions.

Igniters / Initiators of Soviets URGZM same as RGZM (RGD5, F1) is not poping from fuse. It's poping when you release the safety clip from your hand while throwing, that means that knocker had been released and had been initiated (5 secs countdown began), while flame retardant isn't burned out it blocks knocker from hitting detamation part of base fuse that will ignite main explosive charge inside body of grenade. But you will not see how it burns without the thermal scope it even has no huge amount of smoke. Sad that the game has no difference in attack and defence grenades where F1 is attack one (more shards to kill more peoples and cover more range) when RGD5 is Defending Grenade - it's creating more shards but they are smaller and shard range is more lower you may throw away the RGD5 granade out of your trench on the 2 meters/feets away and it has 80% that you won't be damaged by shard and shell-shocked by near grenade explosion, but never try such idea with soviet F1 coz you'll be shell-shocked and in 90% dead. And yeah RGZM was used since 1938 year in soviet army and with little modification is still in use in Russian army same as in post Soviet armies... That would be quite awesome to see in the game. -
Well perhaps it's a kinda rule of life: there's nothing more constant then something temporary 😄 How long would they exist unknown till they're gone.

Actually development team of BI is quite larger then 2. But on balance of BI 4 projects for sure (A3, DZ, Take on Mars, AReif), A3 and ToM is on support state of nature, most active is AReif, and somewhere at the bottom of list a bit upper then A3 is DayZ - if translate on normal lang. And yeah it's add an awesome stuff to the game (sing it loud: Smoke On The Water, Fire intge skies...). And if you can kill yourself in reality with sigarets why you can't kill in the game?

I bet that you ain't familiar with sections: "official tools" is tools that provided by BI for modding, modeling and etc. Based on your question: "We are talking about the mod: KGB_LIB" - you got block in SWS for publishing mod that isn't your property (aka repacking of original mod with signing with your keys). That's the most common reason for ban in SWS, i know not everyone familiar with SWS rules about publishing content and license but read about it and guess why you had been hecked up. In most of the situations - most simpler answer is the most accurate (correct). In other hand no need to get SWS ban for nothing. That's why I'd told you write to SWS support about the ban and solve the situation. I think Steam support will help you get info why and how you were banned. And if I were a official dayz dev - i just don't waste my time here coz there's a special place where you may as a help about dayz tools and get the help from official dayz devs. This is forum for players where one help another one. If you missed that I just only sorry on you...

Sad that Paint.Net isn't working under the WINE on Linux. I'd seen somewhere the good Paint.Net .paa plugin it supports open and saving of .paa textures.

How can I contact Dayz support for a pointless ban?

DayZ support support the game when Beye is work about ban/blocks and etc. So if you can proof the cheating actions of player and or has a cheat of that player - submit that information to the Beye, they will help and checkout their logs and maybe will give away a permanent ban and implement check attack detection methods. Also if you were banned you shall understand how was you banned: If ban was given on tye server - ask server owners about the ban, that forum is not about it and DayZ team will not assist you because it's problem bot with the game, it's about the humans, so talk to Budda/Jesus/Lord/Someone else about that that. If you got Global Banned (can't connect to the any server) - write to Beye, explain the situation, ask for help and they might help you. -
You are using wrong quantity values. If game can't get value of quality in Integer for item in types.xml it sets from 1 up to max quantity. How to solve your trouble: Inside of types.xml for 20 € change the quantity from: <quantmin>0.2</quantmin> <quantmax>3.0</quantmax> To: <quantmin>0</quantmin> <quantmax>1</quantmax> That would means that item would has quantity in range between 2 items in stack (40 €) up to 3 items in stack (60 €). How quantity works: Quantity value is range between 0% and 100%, for 20€ it's maybe maximum 400 items per stack. Now get some math: 2 * 100% / 400 = 0.5% O.5 is Double and not an Integer, it should be rounded to Integer so would be 1. Same for quantity max: 3 * 100% / 400 = 0.75% Rounded up to 1. Now checking how many would be that 1% in items: 400 * 1 / 100% = 4 ( * 20€ per one item) = 80€ total. Legend: Formula 1: 2 = items quan that we want; 400 = max items per stack. Formula 3: 400 = max items per stack; 1 = % from stack. Another way to solve is override with your mod amount of stack but it's another way.

Basically it depends on what's in upgrade. If mechanics was changed servers wouldn't be wiped. If changed loot location been changed then chance for wipe got higher on about 20%. If will be any kind of location changes (new towns, add new buildings, car spawn locations been changed) chance that would be wipe getting about 100%. Except if would be added any kind of bunkers on Cherno chance for wipe would be lovered down to 50%. Honestly I can't remember when was last wipe before current 1.23 update so it's happend not too often. Game had reached the stance that maps of Limonia and Chernarus reached the state of the end game and without any huge map updates it wouldn't be wiped again.

There's only one solution - is update to win 10 (end support in end of 2025th) or win11. Why there's no fix - Game Engine using MS Visual C++ Redistribution (2015 and 2019) and Launcher uses C# (6.0 - 7.0). Windows 7 can handle maximum .Net Framework 4.8 (already ended support), Windows 8 (uses maximum 5.0 and 2 years ago was dropped support of OS and in start of this year was ended support of .Net 5.0). Current LTS (Long Time Support) release is 6.0 so it's for at least Win 8.1, but prefer win10. Anyway it's already considered as outdated and useless software, BI will not able to reinstall VS for development of game engine and etc, that's why was dropped support of win7. I guess maximum 20% of DayZ players using Win7. Anyway more users using Win10 & Win11. And the final maybe in end of thi6year Steam platform will drop off support of Win7 so u can even start/install/reinstall the game. This is the end. So Var 1: go to the shop for updates (software and hardware). Var 2: Send to the hell DayZ and safe Win7 on your lovely machine. Var 3: Attack support forum with asks return back support of Windows 7. (And get the possible answer like: We can't, it's old and useless). Sorry for such way but nevertheless it's on the run...

Man I'd wiped and replaced types and another config file with vehicleparts amd has the same issue with wreked vehicles. For exmple I was quite pleased to see the wheel instead the trunk on Ivolgha (Gaz24 aka CivilianSedan) at the edge of Chernarus Tisy car wrecked column. So I guess they didn't met it coz didn't performed wipe of dynamic_**.bin that's why loot isn't yet updated on their servers. I have an idea how to solve it but I need to check it before write it here.

Actually we have really high chance because 2 V3Ss and 3 HMVVY spawns on the NWAF. And if the locations will be changed that will consider the vehicle database wipe. But really don't hurry and anyway it's not your car so no way to get carried about it. -
