there should be NO WAIT if you changed servers because a reset was about to kick you. or if you were kicked from the last server. the game should be able to recognize the difference. if you left a perfectly good server and logged into another right away (again, the game should be able to know), the wait should be 5 minutes. hell, make it 10 or 15 minutes.

I'm okay with this. everyone should be reminded every day what a bambi feels like.

do what I do with my hc. only consume meat (that you kill), fresh fruit and veggies, and water. you don't HAVE to take the cans. [edit] my hc also doesn't use weapons that take bullets.

I wish they could find some middle ground between lying around everywhere and suddenly 99% gone from the game. I think they hurl adjustments at the game from across the room. with a catapult.

they don't seem to notice you as much. sometimes not at all.

1. when you shoot game with an arrow, the arrow appears suspended in space where the downed game was (after you skin it). it doesn't seem like you can get the arrow back. BUT if you put the cursor on it and open your inventory, it appears in 'vicinity' and you can grab it there. 2. if you can, move so when you shoot at game there's a tree behind it. makes it much easier to find the arrows that miss - you just pluck them outta the tree after. 3. a pristine kitchen knife with get you more meat than a non-pristine one. a pristine machete seems to do just as well but takes up more space. haven't tried the other knives yet. 4. to make a fire, combine rags or paper with sticks (makes a fireplace kit). then add a log. then put matches in your hand and light it. 5. eating raw meat will make you very sick (duh). burned meat will ALSO make you sick, but not as sick. 6. there are 5 spots in the fire to put food (you'll see it). just drag food to the fireplace kit. steaks will visibly change color to brown when it's ready. when it's brown I think you have about 10 seconds to take it off or it'll burn. double-clicking the food moves it quickly to your pack. 7. if you have a poor display or have distractions happening, remove the food from the furthest left spot in the fireplace. when the other food is done it moves to the left, into the empty spot - MUCH easier to notice. 8. you can make a leather backpack from a boar pelt. combine with rope, and then sticks. it has the same capacity as the talon backpack (25 boxes) - 5 more than the burlap version. hope this is helpful. happy hunting!

a zombie was below me on some stairs and took a swipe at me, and my character cried out in pain (whiny little bitch that he is). after killing the zombie I looked and my boots were ruined. no other apparent damage. so the next 2 times I logged in the screen had a red haze, and once my character whimpered (dude I swear I'm gonna smack you). there weren't any messages about pain and I looked at my status and it says full-on healthy....... so what's up? anybody know? if he doesn't quit whimpering I'm throwing him off a roof. is he scamming me for recreational morphine?

hands down used to be the fnx45, but I haven't seen .45 ammo outside of mags since the last patch. not one single damn box or loose bullet. now it's an axe. and they tried to take its ammo away too.

short round trees with white bark. the branches go out in a V shape from the ground. they seem common around water, lots near berezino and novo.

one axe in okay condition, 2 ropes, one arrow. :-)

if you're swamped by several zombies and near a police station, run up to the roof and close the door. if you lure them up into that cupola, you can lean through the closed door and whack them from safety. it probably works with any door, come to think of it.

I was in transit from the northeast corner to mid-map on a very high-pop server, to try to catch up with a streamer I wanted to run with. someone opened up with an sks. he sounded very close but no sign of him anywhere (hacker?). he fired about 40 rounds and missed with the first 20 or 30. since I couldn't see him I ducked into cover and took a chance logging out. and... nope. dead. but at least he ruined almost everything worth taking from me.
