I think you meant zombie hit range is 2m, not 20m. not anymore, anyway. :-p also it's pretty easy to avoid getting hit by zombies in melee, barring huge desync or one of the bastards running up on you silently while your inventory is open. -
there's a bug - it's called nothing works reliably. :-) don't trust doors to stop zombies. plenty still walk on through closed doors like it's nothing and smack you while you're in your inventory.

yeah the nesting thing. it's okay - he would've lost it all anyway the first time he put stuff down to sort it. servers have perfect timing.

they work until some jerk ambushes you and you lose it.

you kind of answered your own question. high pop servers have more kos jerks and low pop servers have less. decide what you want to do in the game and choose accordingly.

I can give you a mag, if that's your only trouble with it.

shutting the game down completely and starting it back up usually fixes it temporarily. completely turning off post-processing seems to stop the really horrendously bad episodes permanently.

if that guy logged off (30-second wait), logged on another server (60-second wait plus all that extra 'please wait' time after that), moved (30 sec minimum), logged out (30 seconds), logged back in (60 secs plus the extra 'please wait' time), and found you still standing over dead guy lost in inventoryland... what, were you alphabetizing the gear? at an airfield? give yourself a slap.

just be careful to leave a second or two between axe swings. REALLY sucks to have your freakin MAP come out in the middle of a bunch of zombies. :-/ -
they're around - I've seen half a dozen or more since .49, mostly in barracks. I'd give you the one I have on me but it's promised to someone.
