combat logging is situationally good or bad: if someone tries to kill you unsuccessfully and then tries to log out when you shoot back, fine, that's wrong and should end badly. if someone's waiting for his zucchinis to grow and you (the rhetorical you) start sniping at him with your mosin from a hill half a mile away, fuck you, you can't have his smersh vest. kos prick. :P

variety. you don't always run into the same people. and there's actual danger beyond game bugs.

actually an ashwood stick works way better through windows than a pitchfork does. -

thirst is okay but starvation is WAYYYY too fast. you can last 10 times as long without food as without water. the ratio in game feels like 2 to 1 or less. hunger should be something you worry about over time, and should take a while to become critical. the way it is in the game is far too immediate and just feels artificial.

when it does that, logging out of the server and back in will fix it. -
if you were to wear what you find first and most commonly, you'd look like a complete douche. wool coat and short pants, designer sunglasses, lime green hardhat, and rubber boots. and your pockets would be full of pliers and syringes.

I don't keep important stuff in tents and stashes. I'm far more worried about the game taking it away than other players. I do have 2 tents though. but they're mostly just places where I can sort stuff and cook meat without a surprise zombie climbing up my ass.

I haz tuna. had to drop smersh to pick it up. hmm... stuff didn't despawn with maintenance. funny being surprised that stuff is working. :-p

if you have filters on your server list (like 'ping less than 200'), your server might have wandered outside of your filter parameters for a few days

the gas pumps aren't powered so you need to shoot a hole in one and catch it with a bottle. make sure you're close so you don't spill too much. :)

few people know you can actually cook on a landmine. just activate it and attach a cooking pot. it may take several tries but be patient. B) -
