I don't bother with pvp videos, so some questions I had to answer with 'don't know' -
yeah I wish I'd known. this was my first early access game. I've played something like 4,000 hours and I'm kinda over it already, and we aren't even in beta. :-/
-
every game has a finite period when it holds your interest more than other games, and over time that interest wears off. I'm realizing that the downside of early access is that my interest in a game can wear off before it even hits beta. I'm starting to feel like early access is cheating me of enjoying the future finished game fully, because by the time it's finished it'll be like a re-release of a game I liked years ago. maybe game developers shouldn't offer early access until beta. just a thought. that said, I will be checking out .63. maybe it'll grab my attention again.

lol I can imagine legs snapping and characters dying when they touch the ball. :-D
-
yeah I've been there a couple of times and just gave up. you practically have to be the guy who designed it to know what to do, because NOTHING is intuitive and NOTHING is explained. where do we submit a report about THAT?
-
wow this thread is so quiet.... I've got a plate carrier with a holster (no pouches) that I'll trade for 6 kiwis (or 3 bananas).

characters from private servers can't go to public servers, and vice versa. whitelisted communities will hold you to a code of conduct (and possible roleplaying), but you won't have random people shooting you in the face for your shoes. anything goes on public servers, but if you go to a relatively empty one you almost never see anyone. so there's danger, but getting shot is pretty rare.

there was a series on tv called life after people, that showed what would happen to buildings etc over time if humans just disappeared. cats would thrive, and lots of dogs would starve to death beside their bowls. (CAT MASTER RACE!) some people are just dogs. meow.

there's more than enough food - by the time I get inland I usually have half a backpack of just chicken.
-
don't be silly op, food is everywhere. it's just not all in cans.

someone I know has gone on holidays for a couple of weeks, and he asked me to drop by his camp a few times and keep his barrels and tents 'active' so they don't despawn... :-D day one: traveled across the map to his base without aggroing a single zombie (because reasons). sorted all his guns and ammo. repositioned his tent so it sits flat, and his barrels so they were easier to get at. dumped all his general gear into another tent I brought for sorting (possibly alphabetizing) tomorrow. ate all his pumpkins...

Inventory wipe of all players carrying unreleased items
Red_Ensign replied to Baty Alquawen's topic in News & Announcements
got all excited when I saw 'inventory wipe' in the title. thought .63 was here... -
to be clear, if a player shoots at you and then logs out, yeah that's 'combat logging'. but if he was minding his own business and logs when you spray bullets at him, that's just having no interest in your kos bullshit.

can't store a pumpkin in a pistol. /thread :-)

uhh is that a dead guy on the ground at 2:00? somebody ain't friendly... ya know, this video reminds me of a robert howard story, "in the forest of villefere"...
-
pointy stick. - beautiful utility for the space it takes up - useable as melee weapon, cooking tool, fishing rod, pumpkin storage, bow, arrows, or firewood - kills things through windows which a lot of melee weapons don't - available immediately and everywhere

One Tapped By A Zombie with full health and blood?
Red_Ensign replied to Cmdr. HyperWASP's topic in General Discussion
should've let your friend deal with the zombie he aggro'd. he'll learn to stop setting them off. -
damn. :-/ sending you a pm.
-
you almost certainly don't need a whole new pc. with the secondary pc you can swap in parts to test what's fried and what's not. [edit] I also have a pile of spare parts
-
nice video. I set a number of rules for myself for the sake of immersion, but geez full-on rp looks like a lot of work. hats off to people who can do that.

"noooo I'm not a white supremacist - I'm a different kind of complete asshole.". lol
-
yeah violence and aggression changes absolutely nobody's mind - I dunno who antifa thinks they're helping. assuming they're trying to help... as for the neo-nazis and racists that are all out of the closet now, I think it's just sad. ignorance is sad. living in the past is sad. just... ignore their little dress-up parades. sad.
