tents and barrels last 45 days, last I heard. backpacks only stay an hour or so. weapons just dropped on the ground disappear VERY quickly - they don't stay like they used to.

this is why we can't have nice things. :-p

yeah there shouldn't be a wait time if leaving the last server wasn't your doing, or if you logged out and into the same server within a few seconds to clear up desync.

I think there's issues with villayer right now - I've seen at least a couple of mentions here in the last couple of days. last word I think is they're working on it.

I play on exile a fair amount - maybe I'll drop by later. I have a public camp too (well, 2 barrels). I drop extra supplies there when I'm in the neighborhood. on server dayz la-4001, approx coordinates 100 090 at the very top of the hill. same deal - leave the barrels, take what you need and leave something if you want. and if you find someone there, use your words.

one kept kicking me as soon as I joined, but I had to get in because my barrel was there. I finally had to change my in-game name to 'STOP KICKING ME', and then I got in long enough to grab all my stuff.

just 3 wheels? but there's bus wheels literally everywhere. I was finding almost 2 full sets in every town.

yeah I like these things. I think you should move 10% slower when not 'healthy' too. whether you're unhealthy because an injury hasn't healed yet, or because you've just spawned and need to eat and drink. it'll add an interesting element to pvp, and fresh respwns won't be able to chase you with a shovel to get your gun until they've eaten and drank for a while.

they take your tent, your wife's tent, your kids' tents, and then they come for your mom's tent. especially your mom's tent. and your grandma's tent. [edit] and barrels

it's also useful as 6 more storage spaces you can carry in your hand if everything else is full

tunnel visioning on finding trinkets while you let yourself starve is an excellent example of how not to play this game. the video was put together very well though.

when I don't have a mic on (which is most of the time) I just give a quick wave and continue on my way past and out of the area. nothing says friendly like casual avoidance. I used to try typing 'friendly' but would get shot in the forehead halfway through typing it. and up until .59 the in-game voice chat hasn't worked for whatever reason. so now I wave and I'm ready to sprint.

I was saying that they DO all have pointy bits (I guess the wording left it up to interpretation). nice that you agree with me and provided illustrations. :-)

I hate you. you smell bad and your mom dresses you funny. :P and I vote for choice, just because choice lets me run 2 characters. I wouldn't mind if they were both 1pp though.

this was a long time ago. came to elektro fire station and found a guy swarmed by zombies and bleeding, just running in circles trying to fight them and it looked like he was losing. I don't remember if he even had a weapon. I didn't have a mic, so I typed in chat 'get up the ladder' (the power station ladder was right there). he did, and I axed the zombies for him. after he came back down the ladder and got bandaged, I gave him some food and I think some supplies. and then I buggered off. ('who was that masked man?')

why the f*** would you have to paint something to attach a part? sometimes the bugs here just astound me.
