pvp is what's on streams because streamers want lots of viewers and the survival aspect just wouldn't get viewers. not until they put all the zombies back in etc. from what I understand (and hope), the end product will be a world where bullets are too precious to waste shooting bambis for jollies. and nobody will have time for that crap anyway because survival will be a full time job.

sometimes I can't find any, and other times I find several. right now I have a full black suit except for that - making due with a black tactical jacket. had a black drybag but the big white logo on the back seemed too visible so I use a black crafted leather sack (it's actually brown but I think it's less visible than the drybag). the black tactical jacket and the black crafted leather jacket (which is actually pitch black) don't have the little triangle of white on the front. it's too bad about the dev's insistence on the toolbar limitations based on what you wear. there's lots of things I would rather (as a gamer and roleplayer) wear than an m65 but an m65 is necessary now to get all 10 hotbar slots.

with my 1pp character I've done kind of a 'naked and afraid' thing. on spawning, I immediately drop everything - pants, shoes, everything. and the only tools and clothes and packs I can use are ones I craft. it's really hard but interesting. [edit] oh, and no canned or 'storebought' food or drinks.

the leather sack is actually only 24 spaces and the improvised leather pack is 25. the leather sack dyes to a brown color similar to brown hunter jacket and pants, though calls itself black.

absolutely NOTHING should be done to accommodate people who kill themselves until they like where they spawned. there should actually be PENALTIES for deaths withing 5 minutes of respawning.

yeah same here, character reset. I know I didn't die...

if it stays the way it is now I'd have no regrets about the $30 I spent for it. I couldn't care less if they finish.

I know someone who used to use the next hill over and he eventually got discovered by somebody. it was really just a matter of time. someone might've gone in there looking for cover or even actively tent hunting, or they might've seen one of us coming or going (always a big danger in a busy area). it's convenient, sure, but a place like that is just a bad idea using the big tents. barrels maybe, but not tents.

you need an iv kit because that saline isn't a full iv set and to use the blood bags you need to add an iv kit after drawing the blood and blood test kits are all over the place. get one and know your type

I really miss the old, pitch black nights where you could not see the tip of your finger. What do you guys think? you have clouds disabled. enable clouds and that bright sky turns mostly black and you can't see most of the horizon and power lines - the things a lot of people navigate by. feels a lot more like you're stumbling around in the dark. but yeah, it's only practical when you're alone on the server. with the gamma exploit you'd be making yourself a blind guy in a world full of bandits who can see just fine.
