Not played for 3 months, thought i'd come back to see if it's still a mess. After 5 minutes im swamped by 6 zombies ad promptly died. Second spawn-in, i spawn on a road in the middle of nowhere. Within 10 seconds, two well-geared guys come over, before anyone can even speak they headshot me and run off. Oh well, see you in another 3 months then.

Just spawned in, was in some town, cant remember what. Walk into a supermarket and start taking damage. Cant hear anyone or hits or anything. Start bleeding, fractured arm. Run out of the supermarket. Out comes a bandit with his little bandit mask on and axe. I had about 30 mins worth of loot on me and posed no threat. I didnt even have a weapon. Anyway, the bandit comes out of the floor of the supermarket from underneath and kills me straight away. Respawn in. I somehow spawn right next to another newspawn. I back away, dont show any hostile intention, and as expected, the fists come up and he starts punching me. Dead again. Respawn back in. Server crashes. Respawn in again, make my way to a town. Get attacked by a zombie. After 35 clicks with a pitchfork and only 1 hit, I run away. Into the next town, find a baton and SKS (no ammo). 2 more crawling zombies now attack me. Probably 60-70 clicks of the baton later, and two recorded hits. Dead. Ragequit. Remember when melee used to work and zombies were'nt impossible to hit? Yeah, me too. On a similar note, i'm now at 94 hours in this game and have never spoken to another player. Not once. Never. Every single person I have met in the last 94 hours has either killed or tried to kill me on sight, without so much as a hello. *shakes head*

Oh look, a PvP loot whoring bandit. Never seen one before.

I've played for 96 hours and have never seen a single crashsite.

Only used it twice, both times one hit kills on zombies from a headshot. I also used the stun baton against them which is terrible, and my cattleprod glitched and fell through the floor. lol.

Awaiting the wipe (which has never happened), i ran to Berezino. I ran through a treeline and was literally greeted immeidately by an enemy about 15ft in front of me. He was coming for me based on the few shots i fired into town. I unloaded about 15 rounds of AK101 into his chest. Didnt see him go down, went unconscious, and died. Respawned in the town at the top right, just north of Bere. Ran back, maybe 8 minutes? My body was gone, couldnt find his. (Can anyone explain this? I thought they only vanished when the server reset?) ive no idea if I killed him or not. Ran towards Bere with my crowbar, saw a few guys, knew they were going to kill me, as they ran around at 4000mph, teleporting all over the place etc etc. This is the norm for this game. Seriously, characters when viewed by another person need to seriously be slowed down. It's impossible to know where the enemy actually is, hence a lottery. I bet the guy i shot earlier was probably 20ft to the left, thats why he probably survived and I died.

Where is the best place to go these days for combat? Im camping out the southern coastal airfield but there doesnt seem to be many people there. I'm fed up of getting banged by zombies all the time and want to fight some people. Is Novo and Bere still the main PvP zones now? I'm always tempted to fire a few shots off and lure someone over but I want to save ammo. :D

Maybe they could work on fixing the basic foundations of the game first?

I used to enjoy it a lot until the recent zombie patch. Now I constantly have to carry more bandages than the military and hope upon hope that another 3 or 4 dont spawn on the one i just managed to kill with an axe, when i finally made contact with a random hitbox, after the zombie lunged at me from 20ft, missed, but still broke my arm and made me bleed. Tbh, I cant cope with everything else in Alpha state, but not this.

Ha, Bere it is then. Anyone have any idea when the character wipe will be? And are zombies going to be fixed? I hate they way they are at the moment. Too accurate, too much respawn, not enough hitbox.

When is the reset? Is it confirmed, and why?

Welcome to Codz. I don't even bother speaking to anyone anymore. It's cost me too much in the past. I will KoS 100% of the time. I dont like it, but the community and game have forced it.

Been away for a few weeks. Is there a wipe coming or something?

Seeing as every time I join the game, I get the lmb bug and spend 5-10 minutes running away from zombies until i can combat log out. Any fix for this at all?

I seem to get it more with firearms than melee weapons too.

I hated this game when i first got it, but i tried to embrace it, and despite it's flaws, at times I enjoyed it. However, the game is going backwards in huge leaps. My most recent experiance was enough to finish my interest in this game: I spawn in, and within 10 seconds, i'm being attacked by 2 zombies. Knowing how easily they seem to react to gunshot noises, I decided to Axe them to death. I killed both but they got a few hits on me, ruined my jacket and made me bleed. Ta-da!!! Another two zombies spawn on top of their previous two bodies. Up next, the game breaking glitch that means you cant use any weapons. I couldnt swing my axe, so i changed to my FNX. Weapon wouldnt fire. Changed to magnum, weapon wouldnt fire. Nothing gameplay related either. No click, nothing. I had to combat-log out whilst bleeding to save my character. In doing so, I lost a pristine AK with all the trimmings, pristine drum mag and 72 rounds. I spawn in on a different server, within 10 seconds, 2 more zombies attack me. Manage to drop them with a magnum (it works this time) before bandaging. I go into a building, and all of a sudden.... NEARGHHHHHHHH NUGHHHH. Three zombies come through the wall. One walking, two crawling. Hitboxes on crawling zombies are ruined. I unloaded two full mags of FNX 45 on the crawlers before a hit managed to register, from about 30ft, and a single hit on the walking one killed it. The game then just decided it wouldnt let me reload the FNX anymore, despite having full and pristine mags. I went into a building and was stunned to find an AKM on the floor. I tried to pick it up, but the game only gave me the option to 'detatch the buttstock'. I couldnt do anything else with it and this is another new glitch. Walked outside, server crashed and I quit the game. Im sorry guys, but there's only so many times the 'because Alpha' argument can be used before it gets tedious. This game is goin backwards at an alarming rate. I'll give it 6-12 months at best before it's dead and buried. I know this might sound like a butthurt post, but I just cant see the fun or redeeming features in this game anymore.

I really dont see the point. I just spawned on the east coast, some derp was shooting and blowing up the gas station, probably to try and attract attention. I ran over and found his house. Wearing nothing but my yellow raincoat and tin of spaghetti, i waited outside his house with my hands up. About 20 seconds later he popped out, waited a moment, then put about 8 rounds of M4 into me. As im on the floor he puts the rest of the clip into my dead body. 30 rounds of M4 for a (now ruined) tin of spaghetti.... Now in my 66th hour of playtime, and i've never once seen a friendly player who didnt kos. Ive never even heard another player on voicechat, ever. All the more reason im starting to think that frankie/blackout videos are just staged setups.

Since the recent patch, Zombies are an absolute joke. In the last two towns alone, i've managed to use over 2 full drum mags of AK ammo just on zombies alone. The crawler zombies have messed hitboxes and rounds go straight throw. Zombies are still teleporting through walls, randomly spawning on top of each other 4 or 5 at a time and can now teleport upstairs and through floors. Trying to axe them is pointless because so many seem to spawn and so quickly that they always get a hit or two on you, and unless you're carrying 7 or 8 full bandage rolls, you don't last long. But it's ok, we now have chemlights. <_<

I've dumped a shotgun and 12 shells before and replaced it with an empty SKS. Shotgun is still borked isnt it? One pellet at a time still?

Im camping NEAF. Yes, im being a dick, but the following problem is something that needs sorting. I see a bambi running to the north warehouse. BANG, BANG, BANG. 3 Confirmed Mosin hits. One in the spine as he ran away, two in the chest from side on. Bambi runs into shed. I open shed door., bambi comes at me with an axe. Bambi gets 14 rounds of FNX 45 to the chest. Blood is spraying out of this fucking terminator by now, still comes at me. Manages 3 axe hits as we dance in circles. None of my two FNX mags would reload. Just a constant click click when I try and fire or swap magazines. Pull out the mosin, another two confirmed chest hits. I try and run away, Bambi can somehow run 2x faster than me with an axe raised in the attack position. Gets another axe hit and dead. Lost a longhorn, mp5, first aid kit, pristine scoped mosin, 200 rounds of mosin ammo, 3 plastic cases, 300 round ammo box etc etc. What a fucking joke. Dayz;The only game where this: and this: Is absorbed and deflected, by this: But its fine guys, please dont worry about fixing the game, just keep on coding tents for us to use. Yes, please, many many more tents. It's now time to server hop for the next 30 minutes, because thats the only way to get ahead in this derpgame. Yes, in case you didnt know, i mad.

Because the AK fires every shot towards the moon, and in Dayz world, H&K only ever made one magazine for the MP5, and they hid it in the temple of doom?
