I like to think of them as infected with a mutated rabies virus that does not kill 100% of the infected, but leaves some alive to spread the virus better. Once the infected show first symptoms there is no successful treatment and approximately 90% of the infected die, the remaining 10% become zombie like aggressive and vicious infected. The virus attacks the nervous system and shuts down large parts of the brain, leaving the infected in a zombie like apathetic stage until stimulated were they show an unusual aggressive behavior. Direct shots or traumatic injuries to the head (specifically the brain stem) will kill them immediately, but they are able to resist high levels of damage to the rest of the body due to their damaged nervous system and will continue to attack for a prolonged period of time before finally dying from excessive damaged of vital organs or loss of blood. We are either immune or have been vaccinated and thus can't become infected ourselves.

This is what gets me killed, I just can't decide which hat or shoes to chose. :huh:

Even better to be able to tie/strap objects to your backpack, like a ballistic helmet, binos, fire log, extra clothing and later a tent.

There is a fix! Create a splint and use it. This worked for me and I am assuming due to the occasional bumps and bangs with Z's and other objects I may have taken some slight damage to my upper limbs and body that get fixed with the splint. Try it and let me know if that fixed it for you too.

Here's my suggestion if you like roaming. Remember the last season of Walking Dead, they follow the rail tracks. That's exactly what I did from that small town without a name yet NW of Lopatino and walk all the way around the map checking out the towns on the route, until you finally finish in the Bay of Tikhaya. You deff. feel you've accomplished something after such a long trek.

I play a lot on the grumpy old gamers server (http://www.grumpyoldgamers.co.uk/) Seems to be a relative friendly server and asks that people at least try to talk it out before killing each other. It's only a 30 man server and usually never more than half full, so you don't bump into many people. Probably now I have mentioned it there will be tons of bandits heading over there ... LOL :lol:

It was still there on 0.44 now all that is left is the well.

This is where the train stands now Train station next to devils castle. Another curiosity is the train station, if you zoom onto the windows you read a note in dutch saying "Do not park you cars here, please". Autos hier niet parkeren AUB <_< Why is the note written in dutch?

I did some tests because I heard if you treat a broken limb the back and forth sway when zoomed with a scope goes away. So I crafted a splint from rags and sticks and it fixed it. I didn't have any broken limbs or the painful message prior to doing this today and the sway was considerable less. Try it out yourself and let me know if that helped.

I think it isn't fully finished yet and it's good to have a more civilian airfield besides the 2 military ones. I'd like to see a passenger terminal or some similar building added.

This could be a desync issue and that's why it's so difficult or impossible to replicate. The server is trying to calculate your position due to your last position and movement input which will be totally different from what you see on your viewer.

I think tents should be rare, like AKM rare. Players should be able to craft their own tents from hides, sticks and rope, but these require maintenance due to weathering. Small Hide Tent Medium Hide Tent Large Hide Tent

I think the way they have done it now makes much more sense than before. We now find AKM's in barracks that were left behind by the military forces of the east european country and the M4's at Blackhawk crash sites that will most probably be from UN forces trying to help during the zombie outbreak.

Hi Crazy Spider, It looks badass for sure, specially with all the attachments, but I can't hit anything if not point blank to save my life with it. When you swing it from left to right it moves slower than a Mosin and when aiming down the sights it jumps and skips around like crazy. I am sure there is something wrong with this gun. Seriously I think the SKS is a better choice than the AKM in its current state.

For me the AKM jumps around like crazy when aiming and the sway on this thing is unbelievable slow when swinging it from left to right. It feels more slower than a Mosin when swaying it from left to right.

Zelenogorsk Barracks on the bed. It was love at first sight :D I dumped my old SKS, but of course like any other clever woman emptied the bullets from it first. :P

I find this most annoying when drinking from wells and as mentioned above when opening doors. It just needs to be removed from the scroll action UI and we only reload with the keyboard settings, standard 'r' or whatever you prefer.

I've been reading the various suggestions and the only one I like is that eating human flesh makes you sick. I would suggest the cannibal becomes sick with some form of hepatitis, his/her eyes and skin turn yellow as a sign for everyone else that this is a cannibal. They would actually lose their appetite for food and have less stamina. The only way to keep their stamina up would be to eat high protein food like meat (incl. human meat). Without appetite they wouldn't get the "I am hungry" messages until they are starving and then have to quickly find high protein food like human flesh to stay alive. The only way to cure it would be to take lots of antibiotics over a longer period of time. To sum it up, eating human flesh makes you sick with a form of hepatitis that colors your skin and eyes yellow. You also lose appetite and stamina due to the hepatitis and your body consumes more energy due to the illness and needs to eat more high protein food like meat to stay alive.
