So I was running around the military base, trying to get gear, when I suddenly heard shots. I quickly ran into a building, and hid behind the stairs. There were four of them. One by one, I took them out with my SKS. The last one was just standing there, looking around, as if he was looking at his friend wondering how one person killed three of them. I had an easy shot, right on the head. I aimed, and fired. But all I heard was "click click". I was shocked. I tried again, "click click". I forgot to reload. I quickly reload, adn aimed back to get my shot off. he was gone. Suddenly, I was on the ground with a broken leg. He came over and stared at me for a few seconds. When he realized I was pulling out my pistol to finish him off, he shot me in the head.

Ok so as I first spawned, i quickly ran down a hill to a town to avoid being seen by a zombie. Suddenly someone started calling out to me. I stopped, looked around, and found a guy with a broken leg. He gave me all his stuff, and told me to kill him. I did. I then looted the town for about 10 mins. I came across a power line and decided to follow it, figuring it will bring me to a town. It ended in the middle of no where. I ran around for about 2 hrs, and i eventually got to the end of the map. it just ended. I turned around, and headed another way. I found a road with white stripes, and i followed it. about an hour later, it took me to the end of the game... again..... and i still haven't seen a town. now all i can do i wait for a zombie to kill me, or starve to death. Along the way i found a payday mask, and lots of other cool stuff. As i am typing this, I am logged in, hoping a zombie will come along and kill me, so i can actually enjoy the game. At first I had hope, but after 3 hrs of literally nothing, I'm ready for a new life.

i clicked to go down a ladder while holding my pimped out SKS, and a backpack full of lots of awesome shit, so when i clicked my character went flying forward of the building. I would like this to be fixed. please.

ok so i was just standing ther on the 2nd floor of the fire station filling up my new protector case, when all of the sudden my leg broke. no zombies... wtf?!?!?

wow i fixed my leg with a split, then guess what..... i went back up ther, opened my case again(like a tard) and it happened again

Thank but i found myself. I looked at a map, and I was actually at the mid-west. lol. i just decided to run another hour to the military base tho. its too bad, when i wanted to die, i couldnt, and when i wanted to live, i got my a*s blown off by some dude hiding in a tent. as for the road, i didnt follow roads, i followed these power lines, then i just ran thru the forest in a straight line. I got to the north end. when that didnt work out, i found the big road with a white line, and got to the west end.. it was an epic fail

IK im not saying it is boring because of that.... did u even read the whole thing? I said it was boring because I was lost and had been running around for hours, with no idea how to get to a town

I am on a full server, and like i said, I am completely lost, and i want to be killed :P

Hey so today i joined a server, and my guy was hungry. I ate some food, still hungry. I ate the whole can, still hungry. I ate another full can, still hungry. My guy is either a fat ass, or its a glitch..... what should i do if i starve to death from eating food?

ok and it was dark orange hungry, almost starving, eating the cans all in a row. It doesn't matter now because some ass whole killed me while eating.... but its fixed now. thanks anyway tho

So i had just been in a fight with a zombie, and i bandaged myself. It kept saying my leg is in pain, but i thought nothing of it and when looking for some sticks. I ran because i heard another zombie, and eventually came across a town with a crane. I climbed the crane, and found nothing. as i was starting to climb town i realized my shoes looked funny so i hit tab to see if they were destroyed or something. all of the sudden I was dead. Does anyone have any idea how i could have died?

Hi my name is jumpingpea, and I just bought Dayz from steam for $30. I was so exited to play, but when I clicked the button to play no servers popped up. I though this was odd so I hit the back button. My buttons then froze. I could move my mouse, but nothing would click and the only way to fix this was to log out then back in. I tried this several times, and no matter what button I clicked it froze, and no servers showed up. Please help me.... I feel like I just wasted $30 on this game because I can even play it. I understand that it is in alpha, but I was expecting to at least be able to play. I would have put this in bugs, but there was no button to post a new thread so I put it here.

It finally works. thank you for all of your help. I really appreciate it.

i dont have an AVG interface and the only option I have under firewall is to disable... (which I dont really want to do)
