Hi, Today I dragged an item into the backpack by mistake and its gone. I think it went vanished when I clicked the backpack icon. Is there anyway to get the item back out of the pack? I tried placing the backpack on the ground but it only shows the items stored with it and not the item I dragged into it? Is there anyway to get the item back? Edit: Found the item! It was inside the first aid kit! Thanks

Thanks, Is there a certain key/mouse button that will cancel the current action then? Or do we bind something to it?

Hi, At the moment I'm still learning how things work in the game and while playing the other say I noticed something on the screen that shows 'cancel action' or something like that? I used an item by mistake but at the time couldn't cancel the use. Is there anyway to make use of this option or is it a feature planned for the future? Many thanks

Hi, Im a new player to the game and have discovered a couple of guns and some ammo during my travels. Does each gun require its own type of ammo? I tried to use some ammo in one type of gun but the game told me the ammo wont fit. Also, do all guns found have no ammo in them? Thank you

I'm going to start by saying hello to everyone within the community and thanks for taking the time to read this topic. DayZ standalone is new to me. I've been playing the game for less then 24 hours and seem to be enjoying it so far. I'd like to ask a few questions though and I'd be grateful if the more experienced players would be willing to give some answers/feedback. 1: I'm playing the Steam version of the standalone game and I've checked the opt of betas option within Steam. However, when I login to DayZ, the game displays 'experimental' at the top left of the screen. Am I playing the stable version of the game? Do I have the wrong option ticked within the Steam? 2: I've been reading on the Wiki page about hunting and using items from hunting to cook? Has this option been put in the game yet? Or is it an upcoming feature? I only ask because I've not seen any animals or wildlife to hunt yet. 3: Is there anyway to communicate with other players? Is there like an area/zone chat channel? I've noticed there's a voice chat feature. How well does this work? 4: If I change servers am I starting out as a new player with just the basic starting gear? Many thanks!
