Just a little late night hunting yesterday with @Noahtressuave. We heard shots outside Novy on the north end of the town and decided to go hunt the guy. We just found something else to hunt instead. Nothing out of the ordinary to report.

It doesn't work, for me at least. I fire up the 32bit as well because apparently it doesn't work on 64. DayZ doesn't even recognize it as a new device although it is set up properly on my PC and I run both TrackIR and DayZ in administrator mode :(

The Fortune Teller So @Noahtressuave hit me up earlier today and I decide to hop on and play a bit with him, we didn't have any specific plan in mind, maybe go hunting and fishing, explore a bit, wherever the wind takes us. Back at camp, we stock up on food and ammo and decide to go run around Novy/Stary/Altar see if we can spot a deer spawn. Altar is our first stop: it's a beautiful day and we decide to run up the hill to Altar to see if we can spot some animals to hunt. Me: I wonder if we'll spot something to kill. Noah: Here, let me climb this tower. Then the fortune telling happens. Noah: Knowing myself, I'll probably die falling down this tower. Me: Naaaaaaaaaaaaah just be careful you'll be fine. I go afk for approximately 60 seconds. When I come back.... Noah: Guess what. Oh Noah. Now I have to close your corpse's eyes and that's hella creepy, dying with your eyes opened like that. Drove back to Kamyshovo to go get him, as he has done with IMT when I last got killed in Novy. I mean, I have to return the favor. Illegitimate hitchhiker. Not today sir.

Who btw is a total peach <3 I added black drybag-guy and asked him for his side of the story, he sweared up and down that he was friendly, but he was trash-talking IMT thoughout the entire ordeal, so yeah, i told him to go be a lame pvper somewhere else, this server is friendly-zone. I wish I was at least 1/478384387th as good as you at shooting. I'll just continue on with fishing wellies.

I went fishing today, now that I got the hang of it somewhat. Or at least I thought I did. I caught wellies, dammit. WELLIES. What are the odds? I was feeling kind of down but then IMT and art came to my rescue to cheer me up. There was an attempt to restrain IMT and hide him in the trunk of the car, but that failed pretty hard. We hopped in the lada and made our way back to camp when all of a sudden......................DEER!!! We hurried out of the car SO DAMN FAST, you wouldn't even know. I was especially excited to at least bring back a few of the steaks I lost to a duper that intentionally crashed the server yesterday just for his own little fun, disregarding the other players that were on at the time. Yes, twatwaffles still exist. sigh So yeah, I didn't hit the desired target but IMT did hit the buck. Glamour shot: Back to camp we go

Operation Bus Extrication A fine evening was unfolding as I made my way to a pond near Novy Sobor to try my hand at fishing. I've never tried it. I know, I know... Off I went with my baits and hooks and worms and all that good stuff. Got 4 carps, but a specific carp was being a little shit and wouldn't bite my bait. I mean, the worm was extra large and all....just bite it already! I mean, the guys have been the sole providers of protein (oh god, phrasing, Bear, phrasing!) at the camp, I figured I might as well stop cleaning up everything and actually make a meal. Delicious. Emu, the pres......*ahem* , sorry IMT, the Vice-President of the Department of Transportation and Rationing of Chernarus arrives at the camp with a mission: I dub it Operation Bus Extrication because, well, a few buses need to be extricated from their predicament. Off we go with our somewhat trusty green cargo pile of crap. First stop: our first bus, laying on its side. Poor thing. Emu backs up the truck in the bus. BAM! Success! Before we depart, first things first; rotate them tires. ''Yes, Baron, this is a truck.'' ''Hmm, indeed looks like a truck to me'', she says, mumbling under her breath while inspecting under the hood. Off we go to our second destination: Кабанино. Not one but TWO buses there need our attention. Barely touching it with our truck, the first bus flips over itself like it's impersonating Regan MacNeil (I'll let you google that one). There's one left. We should go easy on that one. TA-DAAAH! Mission accomplished! (round of applause please) But wait, shit.................where are the glow plugs? Aaaaaaaah dammit. Off we go to hunt for glow plugs. Excuse me, sir....sir? That's an overly exagerated lean you did there.... Perhaps you'd like to invest in the patented Michael Jackson shoes? It is listed under #5,255,452 if you must know. (We still need glow plugs.)

I thought that they did hold more water. Back when I started playing they held 1000mL and the PET bottle had 500. Now it seems the canteen holds 800mL (per the wiki) and the PET holds 1000.

I have to say that entering the apartment buildings armed with only a chemlight is just about the creepiest thing ever. Something's about to creep around the corner, I'm sure. I feel like someone(thing)'s watching. *shivers* If you're nice you can come to the camp.

I am getting a whole lot of spoiled crops when I plant pumpkins nowadays. Using garden lime and perfectly good seeds out of a packet. Also watering with water from a PET bottle that I rinsed and refilled from a pump. I planted 3 plants, got 2 spoiled out of 3. My mouth tastes funny.

Would you be willing to lose 1 slot in your bag for a cutlery set? I know I'm not :)
