@emuthreat hopped on The Village server, and I asked if I could join. So here I am on a 1PP trying to be non pukey. It's all going well and I spawn on Skalisty island, where I come face to face with a random player. He is armed and startles me. I try to be nice and tell him I'm just looking for food: he kits me up with clothes, a Mosin and some rounds, food and everything, and escorts me out of the Island, back to safety on land. He crafts me a fire and is being generally protective whilst not being talkative at all. Oh well, if that is what amuses him, i'll just play along :) We meet up with @starvingart and he's being cautious around my new silent friend; but after a few minutes it's all good and we make our way to Novy Sobor where emu will meet with us with a truck so we could all hop in and visit The Village in the Zub area. We get to the castle and there's an entire community there, but it looks a bit chaotic. I try to use of my feminine charms to forge a foundation alliance with some guards there. It's working very well, I got some dudes fetching stuff for me already. *evil laugh* In all seriousness, it looks promising, but only time will tell if I'll be at ease there. We hear shots in the town below the castle, everyone is on the lookout; A quick reunion to see what is being done next; A disruptive member of the community is trying to force feed people sketchy food, he is being locked up, naked, afraid, and watched by Red, whom I personally wouldn't fuck with.

BURLAP QUEST @starvingart and I driving down to the coast. I had gathered approximately 90 pieces of netting from my previous peregrination to the east coast, and if I wanted that ghillie suit, in my true fashionista disposition, I had to go out there and gather the necessary burlap. Pfff, easy, I thought. Oh no. Both us of had to abandon after gathering a total of about 4 burlap bags. Cherno wasn't giving it up that easily. The atmosphere of this game, the foggyness of the coast...I'm in love. Art and I stopping for a moment and taking it all in. The foggy sea reveals a bit of nautical ruins. Burlap? No. Keeping an eye out for snipers. (We're alone on the server. But y'a just never know. Time to go home eh? There's nothing here.

I run alone today. Trying to find some netting; it's very difficult. I have sand in my boots.

PRISON ISLAND PEREGRINATION @emuthreat , IMT, starvingart and I decide that we are going to get our swim on and decide to head on over to Prison Island for some frolicsomeness. Emu arrives first and gets a fire going for us slowpokes still swimming. We loot around and shoot at zombies. I wander off and let the boys be boys; i got some pictures to take. Before leaving at sunset, I take a panoramic picture of the coast; We arrive and warm up at the fire, IMT and starvingart keep an eye out for zombies; IMT keeping the zone safe; Art taking a little break: I climb some towers, the view is gorgeous: I'm afraid of heights but I still go, because wow. Why can't I fish here? Why isn't there running water? Why are there bandages in the toilets? So many questions, so little answers. Back at camp now. Time to rest!

Horrible that the chopper crashes give crap loot for now. Don't move...stop...shh..stop moving. STOP TURNING AROUND.

I live far up northern Quebec and when I drive a bit out of my town, I notice how DayZ-looking the area is. Abandoned houses, sheds, farming equipments, power lines that you can follow up mountains....a whole lot of stuff really! Here are a few pics! Sorry, most were taken from my car as we couldn't stop. I'll sometimes wonder which house I'd loot first in case of an actual zombie apocalypse! :> Barn House with shed Church! You know that's Novy Sobor. Found a cargo truck! As emu pointed out, is even has a dump bed, for even faster unloading of your loot! More barns! Lonely abandoned shed on the side of the road Old house, just sitting there. I mean, you can't deny, the terrain is really similar! I'd loot the *&$% out of this, hopefully find some rope and burlap! Which would you loot first? Enjoy :)
