Stuck in wall, how do I kill myself?

Problem solved but not in a nice way. Just sprinted against the wall for an hour and eventually went unconsious due to starvation/dehydration. Then I could finally hit respawn button.

Stuck in wall, how do I kill myself?

None of these solution work. Jump doesn't exist and stepping over doesn't do anything. Going prone just makes me stand still, hitting Exc to log off is same. When I log back on I'm just stuck again. I made a report but I guess I sooner die of thirst then an adming is going to unstuck me in on a Sunday. And from the report I seen he got to unstuck a lot of people before he will get to me.
  3. I logged off yesterday while beeing inside a building. Today I log on again and started from same building, but in the next room. Unfortunately that room is normally not accessible, so I can't leave it. I nearly don't have any gear, so don't mind dying. But I can't hit respawn, can't poison myself and I'm still energized & hydrated so it will take a long time before I starve. I've tried switching servers, changing character looks (read somewhere it might reset char) and running, crouching and crawling to get out of the room but I'm just stuck. How can I still have a bit of fun this afternoon?
  4. Certainly not going for any brand pc. Been looking at various website and gamecomputer.nl (sorry it's in Dutch) is probably the shop I will buy from. Been playing with both their Axon Revolution and Aggressor Intel Z87 series and I end up for both at roughly 1300€ (including screen and Windows 8.1. Looked at a lot of different website and even looked up all parts individually and this one still comes out cheapest since it's a package deal. Specs that will I will probably put in for sure are: Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z97X-Gaming 3 Processor: i5 4670K Haswell (4 x 3400) and I will ask to overclock it. Cooling: Scythe Mugen 3 SCMG-3000 RAM: 8GB Crucial Ballistix Power: Corsair CX Series CX750 The only thing I'm not sure about yet is the GPU. Either go for 2 x Radeon R7 260X or 1 x Radeon R9 280X. Could go for the R9 now and add another one in a year or later when it become outdated. Starting with 2 x R9 from the start is a bit to much. The 'building' the pc is not a problem, I used to work as pc technician 10 years ago before I made a carrier switch and had to build/install/fix computers for companies. But since this pc will also be used (abused) but a 16-year old daughter and 20-year old son, I prefer to have it done by a company so I get full warranty and service in case they crash it.
  5. I you want me to buy every item seperate and assemble it myself then I must disappoint you. I won't do that. But neither will I buy a standard machine, certainly not big brand but from a specialist website that allows me choose the parts. If you really want to help, you can give suggestions for the 3 questions I asked.
  6. I guess prices in US are a bit different then Belgium, but I've looked up some options and new pc will cost me 1000€. Currently my eyes on 3 different systems (those can be tweaked) but some questions remain. Option 1: Processor: Intel Core i5 4440Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z97P-D3RAM: 8GB DDR3 1600MhzGPU: AMD Radeon R7 260X Option 2:Processor: Intel Core i5 4440Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z97P-D3RAM: Corsair Vengeance 8GB 1600MhzGPU: AMD Radeon R9 270X Option 3: (from different webshop) Processor: Intel Core i7 4770 Motherboard: not mentioned RAM: 8 GB DIMM DDR3 GPU: AMD Radeon R9 255 So the main questions are: - i5 or i7 (i7 will limit options to improve other hardware) - to overclock or not (i5 54440 vs 4670k) (will require better cooling) - go for AMD Radeon R9 (or NVidia equivalent) or 2 x AMD Radeon R7 260X? (should be possible with option 1 & 2 for sure) I'm however really not looking forward to install from scratch since the current pc is used by 4 different people with all of them having some personal files and programs. It would be on one hand a good thing since it would clean up the mess the kids made but on the other hand I'm thinking of just putting the old hard drive in new pc and let Windows figure out the new hardware.
  7. Hello folks, Didn't know if I could post this in DayZ forum or not so to be safe I post it here. I'm playing DayZ, but can only do it on very low details. So I'm considering upgrading my pc to allow me to play DayZ and other games in higher resolution. Below technical details of my pc: Short description HP Pavilion G5450bem:Intel Core i3-2100 (3.1GHz, 3MB L3), 6GB DDR3, 1TB SATA 7200 rpm, SuperMulti DVD-RW, NVIDIA GeForce GT 520, 802.11b/g/n, 6-in-1, Windows 7 Home Premium 64 + 21.5" Full HD LCD Long summary description HP Pavilion G5450bem: HP Pavilion G5450bem, Pavilion. Processor clock speed: 3.1 GHz, Processor family: Intel Core i3, Processor model: i3-2100. Internal memory: 6 GB, Internal memory type: DDR3-SDRAM, Maximum internal memory: 8 GB. Total storage capacity: 1000 GB, Hard drive interface: SATA, Hard drive speed: 7200 RPM. Optical drive type: DVD Super Multi. Discrete graphics adapter model: NVIDIA GeForce GT 520 There is always the option to just buy a new pc, but to get a pc fit for the future (say next 3-4 years) it will costs probably between 1500-2000€. Not something I'm looking forward to yet. So options left are to upgrade processor and/or graphic card. And in the case of the graphic card, I have to option to replace by one very good one or go for 2 decent cards. What do you suggest?

    Your first kill

I prefer to be friendly but learned the hard way that it gets you killed more often then you want. So far I've had one good experience were 2 guys escorted me and another fresh spawn to airfield and village and I would like to return that favour or at least just be able to talk with someone. But any attempt to repay the kindness received to other players ended with death. With the climax being one guy running to me shouting 'I'm friendly, don't shoot me' and then to hit me in the head. 2 weeks ago I had my first kill, but yesterday was the day I survived my first shoot out. My first kill happened at tent camp at international airport. I was looting the place when I suddenly heard the sound of drinking and later on a zombie being killed. So I was on alert and had my M4 ready. Just when I was about to run outside the tent, this guy runs into the tent I'm in. So out of reflex I just hit the mouse and shoot while he does the same. Before my screen blacks out I hear a moan and see him go down. So I expect we killed each other. The shoot-out I survived happened yesterday. I was near a military base when server had a reset. So after logging back in I head straight to the base. While looting first barrack I open a closed door to find some guy standing in the room. I hesitated a couple of seconds but shot him anyway. The noise alerts some zombies and I had to find myself. I after shoot first zombie entering the barrack and preparing for the 2nd one, I hear other gunshots. I quickly run into a room for cover expecting 2nd zombie to follow me. But the zombie didn't come so I deducted he was shot by some other guy. Either he was a friend of the one I shot or someone with same idea as me. And the zombie probably took the bullet that was meant for me. So with the exit under aim, I had nowhere to go so I knew it was kill or be killed time. I stepped out into the hallway and hoped I would spot the guy very fast. I spotted him kneeled down 20-30m before the barrack door and shot a couple of bullets while he started shooting at me. I still can't believe it but he died and I survived. I guess I had the better aim then him since we were both firing M4. Was both in heaven and hell because I had my first real shoot out, but also felt sad for the 2 guys. But they would have probably shot me as well since it wasn't a friendly server.
