    A very big complaint

You must really suck as this game. It takes me 30 minutes max to find a friend if we both freshly spawn. Get used to using road signs and road intersections/buildings to find out where you are on the map, then go from there, it really isn't that hard. Loot important buildings on your way to each other and you won't starve/get killed. I guess this game just requires a little more thought process than "creative" people are capable of.
  2. You obviously don't know very much about weapons handling in real life. In the British army at least you are trained to always use your weapon on semi-auto fire. You should never have to fire your weapon faster than you can pull the trigger, and you will rarely need that ROF either. The only time you should need full auto is when you are in extreme CQB environments, which should be rarely, you are a civilian with a gun, not a trained member of the SAS. I really want them to put in a indicator on the top right so you know what mode you are on...

Can I Run DayZ Retail (POST HERE)

Desktop or laptop? Laptop Monitor resolution:1920x1080 (happy to reduce res for better performance) CPU: i7 620m 2.6 ghz (3.3 turbo) Graphics card: Nvidia fx 880m 1gb RAM:* 4gb SSD? (Yes/No) yes I don't want insane graphics or FPS, playing on low or very low with ~30 fps would be fine for me. I understand the graphics card is a little rubbish.

Can I Run DayZ Mod? (POST HERE)

Hi, Is there a similar thread for the Standalone version of the game? Regardless, I'm buying a laptop to play the game, I don't require anything fancy like high graphics or insane fps, I just want to be able to play the game on low/very low settings with reasonable fps (30-40). The laptop I'm looking at getting has the following specs: CPU: i7 2.6 ghz RAM: 4GB GPU: Nvidia FX 880m Just ask if you need any other info, It's a HP elitebook 8540w I am looking at, thanks.
