we need two vertical inventory spaces and LOTS of batteries to keep this thing running, all for a RP-friendly sidechat? i will just stick to VOIP programs i think. the potential for griefing and being ghosted are immense in using this over a VOIP. also, who wants to bet that on every frequency there will be spamming 24/7? one person spamming one frequency makes that frequency useless. there will be people spamming EVERY frequency.

homeboy wanted to get the drop on you if you are skilled in dayz, other people are dangerous.(not on Teamspeak or clan) they are going to try and kill you for your loot. there is nothing to do with another player you meet them gear each other, heal each other, loot together, and then... kill each other.

so, turn on the walkie.... turn it to a frequency... and anyone on that frequency with 30 km can spam, abuse, listen in and meta my direct communication. this is a nice touch, don't get me wrong. great for RP and all that. i'm just trying to find the reason to EVER use this over a VOIP, or even use it at all.

shot gun has two uses, and two uses ONLY: 1: as starting weapon. ammo is plentiful, no magazines, very loud to scare off other freshies. 2: sawed off, in your vest/backpack as a secondary sidearm or vanity item. even if the shotgun worked properly at close and medium range, it would still be the most useless firearm compared to the utility and versatility of other weapons. having a new shotgun, like a pump action, could be useful.

everyone has a different definition of "friendly" "i only shoot if..." "i usually try to talk to someone first..." "i don't kill fresh spawns unless...:" everyone kos's. the people who "justify" it or pretend that kosing is part of their role play is absurd get over it, unless you're on a whitelist RP server using VOIP you WILL BE KOS'ED/KOS PEOPLE
