there needs to be one major fix to zombie damage. NO CHANCE TO CRIT. one shot k.o.'s and fractures are one thing, bleeds/items ruined on every hit is another... zombie slaps doing 20000 shock damage is OVER THE LINE. -

i do it this way: tell my friend to find a road sign and spell it out to me. i then tell them to hide in a two story or in the treeline. when i get there i check out the town and without giving myself away, lead my friend to me.

good. you spawn, you pitch a tent, you fill it with loot, you die, you come back to it when you spawn again. this is the way it always has been and always will be.

if tents are gone when the server resets or goes down for maintenance then who cares? persistent storage should be literal.

now that the m4 is going to be rare after the next patch: m4. i've found that the fnx45 is the best all around pistol. rds increases ads zoom by a fair bit. flashlight/suppressor/15rnd mag/.45 ammo

this user doesn't care about the right caliber. more ammo types + less ammo spawns + ammo spawn rate nerfed + mags spawning empty = AMMO TOO RARE dayz is a DM first and foremost. -
Should walkie talkies have text chat?

if you want a side chat just say so.... the only "real-sim" way to do this is pick some real world model of walkie that HAS TEXTING and make a mini-game out of of it. that sounds so stupid now that i think about it. 30km voice chat is good enough imo, that why i voted no. -
it runs in 32 bit right now and winxp compatibility mode offers the most performance fyi

there is a slight difference for the better in AI pathing. on exp it is even more refined. good "placeholder" for the placeholder IMO. -
LRS would be nice, or even just the PU. I'd like to see a simple 4x hunting scope just for the Blaze 95, mosin, SKS and Sporter.

you cant mute the walkie though only change the frequency. there are what, 7 or 8 frequencies? spammers on every one on a high pop. plus, they need to spawn other than in firestations (there are only 6-8) firestations on the map, maybe less.

i think the shotgun should stay as "useless" as it is. it is good as a starter gun and a back up. the dispersion needs to be fixed for pellets as well as hit detection/range. hopefully a "better shotgun" will be added. something like this maybe?
