The place was trouble pretty much from the get go, people pulling out guns and shooting the place up. Clans attacking them, squads attacking them, hackers attacking them... If I remember correctly, the guards are mainly there during the evening on the weekends. I've been there twice right after they set up shop, both times it was fairly uneventful. Now it's a place to go if you feel like spawning on the coast. I'm glad I found your YouTube channel via the forums, all your videos are excellent. Thank you for all the great content you provide.

I've never felt fear in DayZ, it's more like..."yep, I'm screwed".

I was just having a little fun. I know what gun the Blazer was styled after, believe it or not I'm a gunsmith. But if people can run around in DayZ with Mosin's that are chambered in a NATO round, and M4's(that used to be more common than can openers) that shoots sixty continuous rounds from two coupled 30 round magazines... Then yes, I want an elephant gun. It matches my Howdah pistol.

Irish, I have a set up similar to yours and I was wondering if my computer was capable of live streaming/ and making videos in 1080p. Sounds like with a few small upgrades, and I'll be good to do some recording. Mainly my RAM and add another hard drive. These are the generals of my build, I'd have to dig out boxes and receipts to find the specifics. You are 100% correct about playing DayZ on the couch, there's no other way to play it! I'm usually flanked by a beer and a Jack Russell while playing.

Yeah, I'm hoping they will give it a scope similar to the Longhorn's. I really wish they would chamber it in a proper double rifle caliber, something like a .375 H&H Mag, .416 Rigby, etc.

Double rifles aren't long distant shooters, their barrels are usually regulated at 100 yards. On double rifles both side by sides and over/ unders, the barrels are very slightly aiming towards each other so the projectiles hit in the same spot. Double rifles were built for one specific purpose, hunting. Specifically to hunt medium to close range, with an extremely fast follow up shot. It's very rare to see a double rifle with an optic.

As of a weeks ago, I've only played on regular servers. I've logged onto hard core servers by mistake, and then logged back out. But that's about it. A few weeks back I made my way up to the NW Airfield on a regular server, I had been playing for most of the day so I decided to log out before entering the airfield, and pick up looting the next day. The next day one of my friends was playing DayZ so we got on TeamSpeak and found out we were in the same area; I was just outside of NWAF(when I logged out), and he had just finished looting it. I joined his game and spawned at my last location, just outside of the NWAF. First thing I did was pull out my SKS, crotched, and gave my surroundings a scan. I couldn't get out of first person view; I told my friend this and he informed me we were on a hardcore server. I don't know how or why I spawned on a hardcore server with my fully geared regular server avatar, but I still have gear on my regular guy that was given to me on a hardcore server. Next time I played on regular servers my guy was still alive with all his gear. Somehow something got crossed that day.
