Yes, you can use clothes to store extra items. I even believe you can use taloonbags to create an unlimited bag, not sure though. Actually, I'm starting to wonder if you can still place clothes with items inside in your inventory. It might already have been patched out! I'm in the exam period so can't test it right now ;)

That's strange, I don't think I have every experienced something like that. I mean really, everyone who says something first is always friendly. Especially those saying "Hey buddy, I'm friendly."

Devs are already working on this as far as I know. I thought this was going to be implemented in Q2?

I have a friend who ocasionally plays dayz. When he plays on a server with more than 20 people on, he always loses internet connection. Maybe the same problem? His internet is pretty good, he can download at 10 mb/s and play other multiplayer games easily. If you open your internet browser, is your internet connection also slow?

I thought steam handled the port the game used? As such that if you play with two clients in the same home network, you've got to configure steam to use another port? I might be completely wrong though :x.

Private server =//= Kicking everyone on own server to gear up. They just like to play in a close community, what's wrong with that? It's not like they gear up and then go and play on the public hive. Characters are sepperated, your remark is invalid.

The server had some desync with the character of your friend. This resulted in the server thinking, that your friends feet were in the ground. That is seen as a collision, which makes that his legs break. Ussually you get this when you're on the first floor of a building or something like that. Nothin' major, just when you have it, make sure to leave the building ASAP, as it might happen again, like you experienced.

Very true. Same thing for Dayz SA itself, I paid for it, so I can hack in it all I want right..... And if you don't like it you just have to go to a different server. I suppose you just made that account to troll, or not?

It's often duplicated, not always though. But if you check their inventory, you often make some discoveries.

Alright, not entirely no. But the slowed weapon sway is there. The interaction with a wall isn't. Something like in Red Orchestra 2 would be nice. Secondly, I'm just saying that I've seen a few discussions about "People don't be like /MAGIC/ I know how to handle a gun or create a bow". The end result of the thread is firstly that most people don't want the current weapon system to get nerfed. Secondly, the argument was always that some people do know how to handle a certain weapon from their in real life situation.

You need to adopt to every situation. Freshspawns, I let 'em run to whatever they're running at. If they come close, I ask them to leave or I'll cap them. I honestly don't feel bad doing so, it's not like they've lost something. Other geared players either speak my native language or put their gun away. Exceptions are made if I run in a team. If you see a possibly hostile person, shoot his legs if you have a weapon that is capable of it. (In the meaning of only breaking his legs, that is....) That way you can try to force him in putting his weapon away.

Let me start with ... I like the idea. But wouldn't this be a little bit overpowered? Basically you have unlimited ammo, whenever you're near a fuelpump.

You should have played GTA:SAMP, like 2 years ago. Than you would know what combat lagg is .. - Really, that takes it to a whole new level - But indeed, in Dayz it's not very good. But it will always be present, I suppose it should be possible to reduce it, but you also see combat lagg in other games. For example, incase you play COD, BF, CS, ever have gotten shot, but be like "Dafuq, I was already past that corner?" Best thing to do now, is to filter your server list to servers under 50 ping. Join one you seem to like, play on it, see how the experience is there. Does it lagg when it gets full? Join another one. Do this untill you find a pretty good server that is pretty stable because of a good host. Then you just only play on that server.

Heatpacks don't seem to work in the last patch if you ask me, correct me if I'm wrong though. Best way it to get a fire going. Just chop a tree, drag the wood on some rags, put the fireplace kit on the ground, light it up with matches. Also, stay out of the rain.

I have a feeling that you first entered the building to see if a gun was there, then closing the door again before creating the video. But yes, often guns spawn in there. It bothers me that other people know now too. You ruin the discovery ig.

SSD won't affect FPS. Only load times will be shorter.

Sounds like your main way of getting geared is to hunt for a geared player as a freshspawn. If you're a frehspawn you shouldn't even be thinking about taking down a geared player. Most freshspawns have this mentality, but running with a baseball bat towards a player, holding a rifle, and knocking him unconscious by dodging all bullets he shoots - because players have an unlimited turn speed - isn't realistic at all, and should actually fail 100% of the time. I mean, you would give people with nothing a way to disarm an unexpecting foe.... Seriously, your point of view is wrong, Dayz ain't an actionfilm. And don't make it one either.

You can throw items away already. You can also just drag whatever is on that person next to him, so he doesn't have it on him anymore. It gives you plenty of time to shoot him down if he wouldn't listen. And if you really want to avoid this situation, go around with handcuffs, you see someone hostile? Shoot him down, cuff him when he's unconscious, bandage him, take what you want, decide his fate.

I once read that for video settings, all video settings with anything lower than "high" is processed by the CPU and all "High" or above by the GPU. But it's kinda weird that your resolution would act the same way?

Yeah, it'd be nice. if you're looking for the tactical ones, you can have those for a replacement until you find one.

If you're using an intel Quad Core with hyperthreading, disable hyperthreading in the bios. Dayz will still use the same amount of cores, but because the amount of cores windows /sees/ is halved, the cores now are able to calculate twice as much. Windows is probably slower, but I've got +10FPS in dayz, so I've got that going, which is nice.

Yeah, it would be nice. Maybe just goggles to go skiing would do just fine?
