It does. A lot. Because it creates an overabundance of: high level gearweaponsammunitionbored players with nothing else to do than shooting others for funfood (because most server hoppers will fill up on their loot servers)

With clothing degradion in full effect those "joke" items would become viable fallback choices to pick up temporarily when your higher tier gear becomes ruined. And you should find much more of this low tier stuff because thats what people are wearing most often. After all the game is set in a postapocalyptical world and not in a military training camp. "Its not high end or (para)military so it should not exist" is a misconception. Speaking of misconceptions: Skirts are neither female only nor is their sole purpose to make the wearer look "cute". The "getting caught" part is also true for a variety of other items including weapons and ghillie suits (and, again, not true for all skirts) - could be simulated by reducing the running speed or increasing degradion in certain situations. In the end every piece of clothing should have realistic/believeable properties - should be enough to discourage too cute/stylish characters in most cases. But there is nothing wrong with providing some of those options (okay - Ninja Outfit might be too much :D ). The poll will probably stay up until Sunday as it seems to represent a basic tendency and I want to start a new one. Everyone who wants to vote should do it until then. Next poll will probably be about Camo Patterns if nobody wants to see a different one.

Agreed. Zombies should be about as durable as survivors (same health and same resistance as a survivor wearing the same type of clothing) but immune or at least more resistant to shock and blood damage. This way they die just as fast but it requires a little bit more effort to stop them.

Sorry but I think you are mistaken. ;) Actually thats the reason why I added a poll - to gets some opinions how "Sims" the game should be. I tried to keep it somewhat reasonable not including "joke items" like the Mankini (yes this was suggested) or sexy-whatever outfits. I think the baby mask and tutu might be the lower end of the listed suggestions while skirts as an item are actually on the same level as jeans. Even more: The zombies are using them. In my opinion you should be able to wear the same items as zombies do. Zombies running around in skirts while survivors not being able to use them is illogical at best and hides some pretty nasty unfortunate implications at worst. Anyways feel free to criticise specific items because right now I don't have a good system to rank them.

After ~115 hours I joined the ranks of the defiled by killing a non-zombie human being. I was looting a police station in Svetlojarsk when some freshspawn only armed with a yellow bandana snuck up on me and started punching. I fired my chambered Sporter in his general direction (not sure if I hit him) and drew a machete to defend myself. I managed to hit him at least once but then he knocked me out and started looting. When I woke up I punched his head but be knocked me out again using my machete. After waking up a second time I saw his corpse lying next to me - seems like I managed to knock him out and/or he bled to death. I guess greed doesn't pay.

Please no. The game is in development - better add real features for all players. Also this kind of DLC (or microtransactions) does not work well with this kind of game and would ultimately suck out the fun and "open world" feeling.

They are far too easy right now. Dumb as a lamp post, few in number and squishy as hell. I liked the 0.44 "aim for the head" zombies.

Stop spreading your propaganda! No human has a soul. I think its enough if sunlight would increase your temperature depending on your clothes (faster when wearing warm clothes/helmets, slower when wearing sun protection like a baseball cap). Might be positive if you are cold or wet but negative (dehydration, sweating etc.) if you are already warm.

Enforced gameplay - I don't like it. Psychopathic pleasure is a playstyle but it should come at a (realistic) cost. However, it should not be punished artificially. In general I like the "achievements for respawn timer reduction" but only as far as to promote less suicidal gameplay and staying alive.

Why should they care? People loot up on empty servers and bring all this precious loot to Berezino. No need to walk into the woods if you can find a loaded gun behind the next door. Well - you might also find some fully geared KoS guy that for some reason is afraid to lose his stuff even though he didn't put any effort into finding it. But why care? Death is cheap and you respawn at the coast after mere 30 seconds.

Well thats actually a big argument against Epoch. Because there is absolutely no chance that rare items would be spilt between multiple players. Or that some undergeared people just gang up and kill the "ruler". Clearly having that awesome military rifle would spawn its ammo right next to you. Military gear should be pretty rare - not as rare as "one gun per server" but rare enough to have the majority of players rely on civilian gear (reminder: in this setting both the Mosin and the SKS are civilian weapons).

Thats completely wrong - and you know it. Private Hives are actually wanted by most players because server hopping is utter bullshit and unhealthy for the game. Alternatives would be a really long server switch time (which less people want) or keeping server hopping in (which will destroy the game). The other points are true - absolutely unhealthy for the game. However, some people still want them - even though you could argue that those people actually just want to play a completely different game as core elements would be removed or disabled.

Fireaxe is op when fighting zombies. A single hit to the head and they go down for good. I also found bayonets or the Machete quite useful because of their accuracy even though you need more hits (around 2 or 3). Compared to this the Shovel and Baseball Bat are utter crap - clunky to use and weak damage overall. Against other players every single melee weapon sucks if you don't hit the head - might as well use fists here.
