Its something little bonus that we got when the servers got upgraded to 64bit, not something they spent months of figuring out how to do. -
Why people are so worried about the amount of food ammo and guns in this point. It might sound unbelievable but they are testing and balancing things out. The game would be too hardcore with bugs AND survival. Its good for now.

Theres a lot of good stuff in there, but because you didnt clean your vagina from all that sand you came here to unload the pressure. Admit it, you just wanted to bash all hes ideas for no other reason than being a dick.

No if you keep the stats private, very little ego boosting in that.

Special "event" that I think should encourage base building more

The only difference between these games is that DayZ has 40 players in server where WoW has thousands. If your server is either full or empty, you cannot play. But what we will have is kind of "home" servers, the servers where you have put up your tents and barricades etc. -
Zombies could easily have something like a compass in their pockets or watches in their wrists. Military ones could have stuff like nades or mags. It wouldnt be gamebreaking items like we have in helicrashes just ordinary stuff to have a reason to check out the zombies.

Yeah they finally rotted away.

I dont see why anyone would come here crying about the wipe, if you bother to invest a little time investigating what you are actually playing, you would understand that there will be wipes, its even been said. edit: I mean if you buy something, atleast figure out what you are buying.

Sounds complicated, especially the part where you have to read something.

They propably eat brains anyway, look at those filthy little mouths they have be stuffing something in there.
-
Yes for watches and other jewelry.
-
Thats what I was going after for.

My point is that you can play for exaple medic without guns and be good at it.

Nice job! The hurt at the end though..
-
That window thing, very very annoying.

Click the Spoiler for his youtube channel.. go watch a few videos. That's a good player. Oh so its good aim that makes a good player in DayZ, gotcha.
-
What exactly is a "good player" in DayZ. Is there somekind of highscore list I can check out?
-
"Im friendly!" in DayZ's language means: "Shoot me in the face!".

It runs good on lower settings, also you spot the snipers in the bushes more easily since you wont be drawing that much details, grass for example.
-
Also now that every weapon is pristine, you simply just choose the best. Although I like rolling with the "lesser" weapons too.

Are grenades really a good item to have in game at this point?

Molotovs should be craftable as you cannot store them for long times. -

Its normal stuff in the internet. I have a formula for you how it works. Compare X with Y = flamewar. Also many have already played the awesome fps games in the early 90's with mouse and keyboard, so maybe thats where "hardcore attitude" comes from.
