  1. I really don't care if it aggro's zombies at this point. The zombies are still lame as can be. They fall down and kill themselves sometimes, get stuck in objects, and they get juked so bad that you can run miles away from them without worry. It's the players with bad intentions that I worry about.

    KOS always!

My 4th life ended last night at vybor airfield. I had already picked up everything that I needed and was working my way out when I saw someone else working through the buildings. There was still alot of good loot laying around so I decided to let him be, and sneak away. Right as I was about to sneak past the last hangar and make a break for the woods we ran into each other. I hesitated for a second, but he didn't. Now my good loot is his good loot. I can't be mad, as I just didn't act. I could have shot him in the back of the head and mitigated the threat... I also could have reacted better when we unexpectedly came face to face. My decision not to KOS and a moment of Derp led to my demise. Doesn't matter though... My 5th life is going well. I spawned in at Svet, ran into the warehouses on the dock and found a pair of combat boots and a tactical vest. Beat feet for the police station with a zombie in tow and found a SKS and some .45 ACP ammo. Good fortune followed as I found an FNX45 in one of the cars. Across the street I found a splitting axe to split the annoying zombie chick, and ammo for my SKS. I found myself in pretty decent shape within 30 minutes of spawning. A backpack, a magazine for my pistol, and I will be heading as far away from the coast as I can. I may attempt NEAF... Even though I was recently killed at one, the adrenaline rush of working my through there was fantastic.

    My experiences so far.

They may not have understood your native tongue... So yeah, there is sometimes a language barrier.

    My first dayz sa story

That's actually a pretty cool death though. Those people are weasels to be sure, but you got a pretty awesome first death story out of it. Much cooler than falling off a ladder or something.

    My Very First Kill

I think it's a high alert area. I looted some hangars and was beating feet towards the woods when I heard a few shots. I assumed that someone was trying to take me out for my goods, so I kept on truckin' towards cover. I laid low for a while and no one pursued, but had I laid eyes on another player I would have opened fire without question. There is a possibility that the person I have just sworn to fire on was not the person shooting at me... It's hard to know, but it's a chance I don't want to take.

    Ubercritted by zombie?

I haven't been killed by them but I've experienced the hard hit. My character was complaining about leg pain for hours on end. He was still moving around okay so I told him to rub dirt on it and take a lap... I am more cautious about how I fight them now though. I kite them to an out of the way place and stick and move. I read somewhere that they can't climb steps and this is not completely accurate. They clip out and fail to climb them most of the time, but I've had two of them do a bang-up job of scampering right upstairs after me.

    KOS always!

I don't think there is such a thing as a "friendly server". I fell for that trick thinking I would join one to learn how to move around, aim, shoot, etc. I've been killed twice by other players because I let my gaurd down. I'm not going to KOS though... I just won't be that guy.

    sICK OF THIS CRAP

I have so much to learn... I wasn't aware that it made a sound when you logged in. I logged out in a building last night, not far from the police station in Stary Sobor. I hope I can find an empty server to log back in on and high tail it out of there. Another noob mistake, that I hope doesn't cost me my fourth life.

    DayZ is peaceful

Greetings everyone, Don't shoot! I'm also a new player and am currently on my fourth life. My first ended from food poisoning so that was a lesson learned; don't eat bad food. The second went much better as I worked my way down the coast getting geared up. I had several weapons and was chopping my way through a zombie in Electro when a few more jumped me. I pulled out my SKS and opened fire, since I was outnumbered and bleeding. As I was bandaging myself someone yelled "Friendlies in electro! Are you okay buddy?" and then killed me with an axe. Lesson learned, never bandage in the street and always move after you shoot. The third, I spawned in just south of Solnichniy (sp?) and tabbed out to look at a map and figure out where I was. When I tabbed back in there were two guys going to work on me with a crowbar and a garden hoe. I tried to run but was knocked unconsious, and then killed. I could hear them laughing but they were speaking Spanish and I only know just enough Spanish to make them glad they killed me... Hope they enjoyed my flashlight. My fourth life begand near Solnichniy also, but this time I abandoned the coast immediately. I ran inland towards Dolina and looted along the way. I found enough clothes with pockets, food, drink, and laid hands on two weapons in Dolina, a double rifle and a shotgun. I sawed the shotgun off and headed for the hills. It's much less croweded inland, and I've managed to stay hidden much of the time. I'm only aware of one person that has laid eyes on me and it was only for a brief second before I gave him the slip. I could see him stalking me from my hiding spot and was prepared to shoot him had he even looked my way, but luckily he kept moving. I've yet to kill a player, but I'm sure the time will come.
