Screw this game? No this is a mod, an alpha mod, thats still being built. Thank you for taking yourself out of the equation. We dont want or need this kind of noobery around here anyways. The sad thing is, you WILL end up coming back and playing, and then make more stupid posts like this.

Obviously no one else is having as much trouble as me placing a tent as trhere dosent seem to be much on the subject (or from the key words that actually picked up something in my search) It keeps telling me i must place it on a flat surface free of objects (pretty logical really) I lugged it around for ages, trying all sorts of flat places (even where i knew theyd be seen and raided) just to see it in action. Then i see a few videos on you tube and these guys have them in in all sorts of places that seemed worse than where i was trying. Any happy campers got any tips for me? Although i dont have one right now (had to ditch it for space) im really miffed about the whole ordeal.

How to get supplies quick. fresh spawners. 1. Start running to the nearest major city 2. Keep running, because, yes those zeds are on your arse 3. Choose either the hospital or super market 4. Enter one side, collect what you can, pause until most zeds enter, exit other side. 5. Run to building that wasn't your first choice in step 3. 6. Repeat as required. The zeds slow down enough for you to grab a fair bit, more so at the hospital because they'll have to climb the ladder. The only thing you need to be worried about is asshole other players but because you're running it makes you a harder target. Although there are those players that will down you no matter how hard you try . Works for me every time.

I haven't really crimes it but two hits on each building would only take between 5 and 10 mins and then you're boosting off into the hills. But 20 mins is in no way slow at all in retrospect. Used to take me easily over 30mins in the beggining You rack up a nice death count respawning till you're in Balota then huh :P

If you're running ( as I mentioned this is for quick supplies) chances are you've got zeds chasing you. Entering a building without a second entrance when you're newly spawned is pretty much suicide

90% of the time you can just vault over it dude. I hardly ever get stuck on that although I do recall having difficulty with some

Bahahaha, I'm a moron because the hospital and supermarket are the first place I go? You run into town, collect a train of zeds, up the hospital ladder, then down the other side, collect a new z train and run through the supermarket, lose em by passing through. If you ain't doing that before you head out, then you are more evidently the moron

Found my first M24, sat in the dark for an hour at the airfield, saw two survivors, fluked the first shot, got the second guy on the 5th. So I had no ammo and couldn't find anymore. Got the "no message received from server" so i disconnected for the night feeling pretty macho. This morning joined a different server and was in wilderness with nothing :( Same thing with every server I joined after. 7 in game days to be taken out by the game. Rage rage rage haha. Damn you Karma

My favourite gripe is the wankers that scream about "leg break syndrome" or so they're labeling it. Here's a thought, if you're experiencing it constantly, why not pack a few morphine before you go running around? You'd think people would realise that there is a need to carry that stuff around. Poor little guys that can't think far enough ahead. Besides, its not like you can't crawl to a hospital.

So when is this update meant for release?

Then where is the option to play at night? If we choose one server, we will be forver playing at the same time in that server. I know im not going to wait 6 to 12 (or however long) hours for it to drop to night. I actually cant think of one game that has ever done that, limiting a player to one server will become monotonous, and if you make a bad server choice, am i to believe that im stuck with that decision?? What happens when i've joined a server where hacking is rife or that no other players are in, in the time i have allocated to play? One server limiting is not the answer and never will be. There are plenty of options available to curb this, one being a timer. You must play a minimum of say 15 mins in that server and are locked out of any others while that timer elapses. i can think of other solutions but you see what i mean.

Put me down for a +1 I have my gripes about the mod, but complaining about something that clearly states its in alpha, or for something you paid nothing for, is pretty low. (Although some of us, like me, bought Amra2 and OA just for this mod) Im having a great time, and apart from the grammar Nazis, and the posters that are constantly negative, this is a really cool community. I dont think i've ever wanted to be part of a forum/community as much as i have this one. Thank you to Rocket and your heavily under compensated staff! We do really appreciate your work!

Ha' date=' nah man, it takes long enough to find a good server, let alone be able to join it, i only have four favourites. It comes down to this, not everyone can sit at home all day playing this, people have lives, and if everyone that gets home after 5.00pm in the arvo, is not going to want to play in the night every single time they log in, i understand your point, but its impractical.
