That is something that will get fixed in time, parallel to other fixes. ;) It is not a simple issue. Also don't expect to be finding more loot as time goes by. With more items entering the game, I'd expect the good stuff to decrease.

Its a good idea, but would be better if you could tell if you looked closely if someone was playing dead. Like shallow breathing (mabe audible too) or reactions to being hit.

They will be slow, cumbersome, bad offroad and difficult to hide. Except mabe for the odd UAZ or Lada. Finding the parts for them and keeping them going (fuel) will be a difficult task for a large group, let alone a lone-wolf or a small group of 3. Oh and they'll be few too hopefully. Yes they'll be mostly Russian made ones too, so no Hello Kitty Pink SUVs ;) Fucking awesome if you ask me

It not being that kind of game yet does not mean we turn it into a PvP deathmach-fest just because the rest of its survival features are not in yet, basically changing the game at its core to suit the definition of fun for some. -
Hello there and welcome! Enterable buildings are far less in the mod. Check the big orange and red houses and the tiny cabin ones, schools and the usual firestations/barracks and supermarkets. That is generally where stuff spawns. Tents can be found either in large houses or supermarkets. You can set them up on any flat ground excluding concrete by right clicking them in your inventory and they will stay there for a few days if not saved at all (there is a scroll option that reads "save tent" which basically saves it to the database manually). Restarts don't affect them usually.

I think spawns to the East are meant to be terrible, to make you run a little, work for what you find and not just camp Balota and server hop till world's end. East is where all spawns should be IMO. Away from easy pickings (Balota). Theres so much military stuff in the west it makes the rest of the map redundant. Albeit the spawns need a little ironing out, so that theres more of them along the east coast. If you think this game is made for you to have fun, then you are mistaken. For me and many others the new spawns are great. ^ Well said StayAlive ;) -
Most of these are repeats :P They are also minor issues that will be fixed/implemented in time in parallel with the bigger bugs at play.

DayZ is where the "Hoarders" from TV come. Its Hell for them cos they can't TAKE EVERYTHING thinking they might need it... Wait when tents come. Full of hats, trousers and sodas. :P

All very good ideas! Would be awesome to hide essential small items in your shoes, or to attach something to your leg via duct-tape on the inside or outside. Except Beer Hats.. Too silly... Seems you are one for loads more slots to put stuff. Well you're in luck, they plan to add slots on the outside of your pack where you can hang stuff. I'd like to see more kinds of bags too, that can be carried more at a time in exchange for slow running and exhaustion.

The game will not fail. People like it like this, do they not? Also ALPHEEER. Which means the game is incomplete and huge chunks of content are missing. Be patient, content will be added in parallel with bug fixing. ;) -

Nameplates with colors etc is something we'll hopefully never see in DayZ. It's a way DayZ will never go. For the server thing you will have to wait for modding, which will probably take a while. -
Too cluttered. I like the inventory as is. Simple, consice and functional. I don't mind scrolling down. It makes up for reaching back and putting it in. And why is hovering over an item for 1 second bad? So what you don't have one second? :huh:

I'd like to see tunnels and caves too. Eneterable sewers would be a stretch. My city of 400k does not have a sewer system that is enterable, appart from the odd manhole and tiny maintenance tunnel. So it'd be a stretch to see tunnels under say Chernogorsk that has barely that amount of people. -
In time you learn how many slots an item takes up. It is good for now and takes into account the fact that you don't actually know if something will fit in your bag in real life until you try. Welcome ;)

Well good job searching the most searched places on the map atm. Use your brain and head away from the towns close to the spawns. I find it awesome that people actually have to think, to play this game. If it was just the usual run to town, find all the basics and run off into the sunset (which does not exist btw cos servers are going to be 24/7 within a week once again), it'd be boring. Explore! ;) -
I have found some stuff there. But Balota is usually picked clean. Also military stuff is rarer since patch. All the better if you ask me! :P

Anyhow I have found just 1 server listed as private in the server list. If there are some that are still listed as Public then the server owners will change it soon. -

You have to go into the inventory and right click on it, to turn it on. A bit of a hassle, but ok for now. -
Use torches ;) That's what they are for. Also it is darker when you look away from light sources because your eyes have not adjusted to the dark. In game your eyes adjust to the dark only slightly. Albeit night is a tad darker than in real life because your eyes IRL adjust to constant darkness when in game they do not. (I think) Anyway night needs a bit of tweaking.

Hopefully no bulding will guarantee the spawning of any item. But logically hunting shotguns/rifles will be more likely to be found in sich places. There should be no guarantee though, unlike in the mod. ;) High grade weapons will be generally toned down quite a bit once more guns are in. Hunting stands though should be a good place to potentially find hunting rifles or camo gear.
