Nope there's plenty enough if you head inland and look in places others haven't been to. I think we'll see less food spawning as the game progresses. ;)

This my note. Is it not what people do? When it is the end? If anyone finds this, I am alive and well, after a moment of pain on the frailty of human existence. I left it moments ago on an experimental server at the prison building of Green Mountain, on some SE Harcore. A nice bit of RP imo, more people should do this.

Mean as fuck, not socially acceptable and kinda weird. Why not? :P I'm usually the opposite, leaving things where people will find them, usually with a note attached. To each his own. ;)

I like all of these. Most have been suggested before and some are confirmed. Contaminated water will play a great role later on. It'd be great if it also worked like you said. Hello there, To clarify: I know some of what I'm suggesting is already planned, but hey I'm bored so here goes. Along with all the high end items being added to the game, I'd like to see a lot more craftable equipment, out of stuff that can easily be found around houses, barns and dumpyards (make dumpyards and dustbins spawn something!). I like to hope all the high end stuff will be toned down quite a bit, making crafting integral to surviving another day in the wild. I'm not talking only about weapons such as spears, bows etc but also medical and other miscelaneous equipment. The craftable "backpack" is an awesome example of the direction this game is taking, hopefully going to be more important in future. I think this is the exact one they used as reference by the way. Here's a list of items I'd like to see that have a use, not just as junk items. :P Plus some extra stuff. Improvised Blood Transfusion Bottle http://i.imgur.com/2B9EnVt.jpgImprovised stretcher (and military made variant) to carry wounded players around in. Wrapping rigid/plastic clothing items such as rain coats around broken limbs, made better with adding sticks. A better splint than the one atm that is made with rags. I don't think this is something we'll ever see in DayZ. "Achievent" type counters only drive people to do certain stuff more and more, and therefore IMO detract from the whole sandbox thing. I also don't think that having survived x days longer than someone else is going to magically grant you access to some stuff. Background information on the Virus etc will be able to be found by all players hopefully in an easter-eggsy fashion. Survivng will become harder anyway, as patches are pushed. Everything is player driven in DayZ. So if a government is going to be set up, it will be made and enforced by the players. Good idea, but does not fit in with what DayZ is trying to be IMO.

Generally I now get better frames, except in Svetloyarsk the new town. Lots of stuttering and drops in frames. Can anyone confirm or is it just me? Loving the update ;) -
I think its great on experimental servers because you actually have to take food and drink into account and loot intelligently. Stable servers restart too often and don't portrait the survival experience I would like. I have never died of starvation on stable.

They just don't restart often like the others. Thats why you only see weather effects/clouds on experimental. And lowered loot too, for next patch methinks.

Silence is golden for DayZ. ;) I love the Road soundtrack though. Gives off feels galore. Something like this would be cool for the main menu, if a more feelsy one is ever implemented. Less colourfull like, or a scene of your survivor sitting miserably next his fire in a dense forest, as the rain pours down around him.

People are a-holes in real life too. Playing on Hardcore helps for me. Less people camping stuff for the lulz at least. I don't like random nothing-to-gain KoS but it is a legit playstyle in free sandbox world and I can do nothing to change that outside of the game. Just try not to be too trusting because that is what gets you killed.

Not sure what exactly Rocket has said on this, but I seem to remember he wants you to be able to shoot the other guy in the face at any time. A giving animaton would be kinda cool though, no fancy and silly trading inventory screens please though.

I enjoy getting lost, not knowing where I am, dieing and starting over, as do others. All I'm gonna say. Damn the pop corn is good.

It'd be fun to see a tutorial like: Spawn in some building, dead people about, something storyish with mabe some background on the apocalipse, learn the basic keybinds, open the door to the outside, get mobbed instantly by 50 zombies. "You are dead, Now go play the game! Good luck."
