Hmm yes now that I look at it again it could be a tiny bit slower. But thats a good idea about the animation getting quicker the more times you do it. Agreed the mod's animations waaaaaay too slow topped up with the fact that the guy had to stop to play the animation. Hope its like Arma 3! It has to be slow enough to look realistic for an avarage human and fast enough so that it doesn't get you killed stupidly. Anyway what a trivial thing we've cought ourselves in eh? :P Any chance of a devblog from the team this/next week seeing Rocket off to Everest? -

I don't think it should be slower, at least not like it is the mod. In a pinch you can get a rifle off your shoulder pretty damn fast! Even more so if you are used to doing it. -

And anyway I think they are removing the support that has to do with NPC survivors, so that the zombies can not zigzag and all that. Putting it all back in would be a hassle just for 5 NPC people. -

Hello! Just wondering, Rocket, Will we be able to gauge the time the pooped out tin cans have been lying there? Not with an option to check it or anything like that, but only with looking at it. Say if the paper on the outside is worn, ripped or not there completely! This would be a cool mechanic so you could see which ones "posed a threat" and which have been sitting there for eons. Cheers :P -

1) You dont have to save progress. Its saved automatically. 2) Head for big cities! also use this map: to know where you are http://dayzdb.com/ And yes there are friendly servers but i recomend you to play on normal ones! Its much more fun! But I also recomend you to find a friendly passworded server cos the ones with no passes are very prone to hacker attacks! Edit: Damn guys you are quick! :P

Depends where you hit them! I once emptied 2 belts of M249 at the belly of the chopper and it didnt go down. XD But when i shot its tailrotor with a mag of M4 it span away and chrashed into the side of mountain! :P -
