Zombies can run, bite, knock down, and maul/eat you. Explain how they cannot jump at you for your brains? -
"Nothing is safe, everything is permitted" ;) I found that having camps on a popular server for 2 months with no one finding them is waaaaaaaaay more satisfying than building a house in origins.

I think I agree here. I tried to place a tent yesterday and could get it into anywhere that was even slightly hidden. Everything else in the patch I found alright but this is indeed going a bit too far? -
I thought DayZ was a game that didn't have "balance or structure". Me sad :(

If anything the standalone will be harder gameplay-wise! I hope at least!

If that is indeed the case then I forsee great crying in the forums over DayZ Standalone!! Late Edit: More so if these people do not play because of the difficulty and not the bugs. Bet you my pants! (again) :P

Feature wise this patch is very good I have to say. Good to see the game is becoming challenging again and the journal is pretty cool.. The thing is the FPS. I don't get lower FPS in general but I get frame drops every 10 seconds. At one point I might have 50-60 frames and for a second it'll drop to 10-15. It is really annoying and should be fixed asap together with all the other issues. Otherwise great patch! About the roaming zeds I am not so sure although. Indeed they do keep you on your toes but they are so blatantly spawned in. You might look at a field one second and the next time you look at it 3 secons later there might be 4 zeds roaming about. It seems forced and unnatural. I agree with mZLY that maybe they should spawn ahead of you where you cannot see them. R4Z0R don't make it easy again! I really loved the survival experience when I first started out in june last year and that's exactly what I got yesterday playing some Vanilla and Breaking Point. I actually actively sought out barns for guns and supplies! Imagine that! I even found myself trying to decide if I was going to go to the Polana Supermarket. That's an authentic survival experience cos lets face it we can't exactly get realism (what with zombies etc.). After 3-4 hours of playing and a shit spawn I now have barely enough to make it to another morning and always makes me give myself a new task. Making my own story. Not the usual: "Run to electro, gear up, go to stary, wait, KoS, die, repeat" Just my 2 cents. Cheers!

UK#1 is empty?? I really cannot fathom why people don't play after the patch! The bugs are not that bad after all! We have seen much worse indeed. Albeit it needs some tweaking and polish especially in the infection area but it ain't that bad. -

I really don't know what you guys bashing on the alpha anims of SA where expecting... :( After all they are all-new! With polish they can become neat, responsive and functional. Arma 2 animations are just neat. Edit: Hmm it would seem I contradicted myself. What I mean is that I was miffed at first when I saw them but later saw that they were quite responsive. Not like Arma 2 anyway. Improvement I say. -

Hello there everyone, Yesterday I Installed the latest version of the Arma2 Beta Patch (105785), and I got this error. Should i be worried? Edit: I know I have to contact BI for these things, I just havent noticed anything abnormal as of yet when playing, and the installation continued normally and finished normally.

Wow so many whitelist Applications? That's amazing! Looking forward to some awesome action! If the server is going to be that full though I suggest the map is balanced out a bit. I mean at peak times all the action is in the west, and its empty mostly in the east. So putting a barracks at NEAF etc. would be cool. Not anything major, just an incentive for players to venture east. Cheers Bud! -

When abouts is the server UK#2 going whitelist? Also: Do groups whitelist their members individually (i.e every group member fills in the Whitelist App) or can group leaders round up infos and send them in a batch to an admin? Thanks!
