It saves automatically. You needn't do anything. It being alpha, be prepared cos you may lose your char. ALPHEEERR Welcome :)

^ I've been playing since release and I haven't seen a server I was on restart yet. I think loot should respawn every so often when there is no one within a large radius, and should be less with every spawn. i.e Restart - normal loot, no one about and empty and a while later - less loot. This could work. But anyway I really enjoyed scavenging for loot off the beaten track and got rewarded in the end with a Mosin.

Try to look off the beaten path. Elektro, Stary, NW run doesn't really work. Loot spawns on server restarts. I found a Mosin, ammo and a Fire Axe in Shakhovka.

Agreed. Just spent an hour following a path through the forest with only my torch. The atmosphere in many of the towns is spectacular and the shipwreck is phenomenal... "ooh and aahh" moments are guaranteed ;)

You can blood bag yourself or have someone lese do it for you. Mind you, you will not find bags full of blood here and there. You must first take the blood from another player of the same blood type, using an IV starter kit and IV bag. Alternately keep full and hydrated and your blood will regenerate over time.

I had an awesome encounter with 4 guys in Kamenka. We ran to Cherno but got split up by bandits. Very emotional why I died and told them to go on without me. Loving it so far.
