DayZ is now Standalone. Which means it stands alone. It is not a mod, but a completely different and sepparate game. You need to buy it on Steam. I'd suggest you hold off from buying it for now. Mabe in a few months time.

Care to elaborate? I likethe helmets, just think they should be toned down a bit. Payday masks are fine. Just a another customization option. Meaning if you don't like them you don't have to wear them. ;)

Beards, as an incentive to live longer. I like it. But also a skill system. That makes you value your characters life and not just his gear. This is what I really want to see in the future!

Do not mention that game :P rocket is thinking of adding a system where you and a friend can spawn in the same location, as long as you are both dead. That is about it I hope so far as grouping is concerned.

I believe there are some daylight servers in the evenings. i played on some UK one last night. Try them, you may be lucky, if it bothers you so much. I know the feel though, when you can experience a perticular part of a game just because of life. Be sure to look out for the dawn and sundown it is utterly beautiful.

I refer to towns not buildings. I have been quite awesomely geared from towns like Kozlovka or Shakhovka.

Basically you stay standing up while unconscious atm.. ALPHEEER But I like the unconscious screen cos you can see nothing. I think that is the point of being unconscious no?
