+1. I couldn't agree more with the OP, and I know plenty of people that feel the same. Yes it's Alpha, but after 1 year and 5 months (ish) of it you'd expect the game to be optimized better, be less clunky and basic stuff like getting hit through walls by zombies to be fixed. I've personally not played for a few months because of the many frustrating bugs in the game that seem to be ignored. Just my opinion before any fanboys give me shit.

OP, Please learn how to use full stops before posting again.

The word "Friendly" - is it over used in DayZ?

Happy 100th post buddy! -
+1 I'd love to see this. If we could somehow harvest their cloths for rags or they carried small items like can openers, screwdrives etc that would be more plausable than say an Moisin or Helmet etc.

Do NOT join servers at least until 3-5 min after a restart
jamieslingz replied to xploD's topic in General Discussion
Yep this has happened to me recently - geared to the nines then bam, reset after server restart. Damn you long, drawn out, never ending Alpha..... -
+1, great idea buddy.

+1 They do need to fix the bleeding because at the moment it looks stupid.

When testing the Stun Baton goes bad! Not how you'd think...

Haha fuck that glitch!! I've been wanting to test the stun baton but i think i'll try it on a random instead of a friend. -
Would this build be decent for dayz will buy Friday

I'd also not use a 500 watt PSU. Sure your system with work with it but it's literally the very minimum required and wouldn't you rather spend a few extra pounds on giving yourself a little breathing room? I know i would and in the long run you'll be glad you did. Personally i'd bump it to at least 600 watt. Im sure you'll want to be upgrading (another stick of 8gb ram, extra hard drives, etc etc)?? -
Using the wallet to identify players/hackers
jamieslingz replied to archamedes's topic in Suggestions
I think the OP is a great idea - anything to reduce/eradicate hackers. The comment on not wanting others to know your steam ID is nonsense too as if you get shit from someone you can just block/report them. The social element of online multiplayer gaming is huge and this could also help curb douchbags been douchebags for the sake of it and may help promote a more sociable game. -
Do you believe people who shoot on sight are terrible at DayZ?
jamieslingz replied to GriefSlicer (DayZ)'s topic in General Discussion
^ This. Today i've played maybe 10 hours and whenever i saw another player i spoke to them first, stated i was friendly in the hope we could work together or something. Only once did i not get murdered. The rest of the time, maybe 4/5 times they claimed to be friendly then shot me. Afew didn't speak and i ran away when i could see their weapon out pointing my way. I died alot today so i can understand to a point when players want to take a short cut by killing someone to steal their gear. It's kinda counterproductive as most of your gear gets ruined anyway, but i agree with Duenan that they are just terrible players. Feel sorry for them. -
Did you attach a battery to it first?? I didn't then wondered why it didn't do much but poke them...
