Hunting should be coming next patch if my memory serves me correctly.

You can still purify it by straining it or using evaporation techniques. If you boil the water and trap it with the lid you can capture the water vapor as well. It may be a bit complicated though. But there are lakes in the game, and purifying that water definitely makes sense. Heres what I'm getting at: bottle of sea water + shirt + Pot = semi fresh water, then boil for pure water.

Have you ever tried walking up a hill in real life? There is no flipping way that you can run around up and down a hill with a backpack full of crap. It hurts like hell just to walk up a flight of stairs with a backpack on, let alone a mountain. Go on a hike someday and you will see what I mean.

But it has left a bad taste in my mouth. I've gotten so decked out with gear on my new character that I plan on going into the spawn town and giving out supplies to the noobs. I play better as a hero than an axe wielding maniac.

Well, Snipers tend to stick to the roofs of the skyscrapers, and as long as you weave your way through the buildings on the ground you should be fine. Just don't go waltzing out into the street like an idiot.

Believe me, I went through many a police station and fire station before going to an airfield and being suddenly shot out of nowhere, and still found no mags.

Well, I managed to survive for about 3 days worth of playing. In that time I traveled to about 4 different towns and still found no mags, Just a bunch of ammo. Believe me, chambering your pistol after every shot gets annoying after a while.

Just imagine, sneaking up on that 11 year old sniper who thinks hes being cool by puppy guarding the airfield, and BAM! before he knows it hes been knocked out. When he wakes up he is handcuffed with a sack over his head. You then remove the bag from his head and proceed to steal all of his undeserved goodies, and leave him to rot on the hill. Win!

The devs said that they are also working to fix some kind of networking bug that is restricting the servers at less than 100 players. Once this is patched we might see servers with well over 100 people on them, which would force the devs to sort out spawns as well, because having random spawns on the coast would not be enough. I also think that once hunting is implemented there will be a much higher incentive for exploring.

You misunderstand what I'm saying. The guns and ammo spawns are fine, it is the magazines for these guns that are rare, and almost essential parts for some guns (pistols mainly). Even if the magazines are empty most of the time I would still be happy, I just want to be able to load my freaking gun thats all.

Keep in mind that the game has not been optimized yet so even if you have the recommended specs, don't expect the game to run well. I have well above the minimum specs, but I still have frame rate issues/lag. If you want to play the game at it's current state you need to have above the recommended requirements. Hope this clears things up for some of you.

Why is pvp and gunfights so bad in stand alone?

setting the mouse deadzone to the middle fixed the aiming for me. Don't know why, but it did. -
Weapons need to spawn with atleast 1 magazine in them.

Making the guns spawn with a magazine might lead to a lot of player killing. Instead I would like for magazines to be much more common in the world. As it stands, pistol magazines are almost too rare to even bother carrying the guns around. I have been playing this game for a week and I still have not found a single m1911 magazine, or a magazine for the .22 pistol. I have only ever found 9mm magazines, and even those are rare. The only pistol that makes sense to carry at the moment is the magnum because it doesn't require a magazine for multiple rounds.
