well nothing could be worse than Obama, and I highly doubt that the next candidates will be much better. Also if you examine my profile picture closely you will get your answer :D P.S. (Yes he is a mormon, but from the way my mormon friend explained it to me, it's pretty much the same as being baptist except that they also have the book of mormon. And also they no longer practice poligamy so that's good lol.)

They should still spawn at least some magazines in the towns. It just feels a bit unbalanced to have literally all of the good gear in the military bases of which many are guarded by groups of player who tend to kos.

Maybe for pistols...but just maybe. The shotguns and rifles are just too loud to be suppressed by the buildings imo. -
You sir are either the luckiest man alive, or you are on a very low traffic server. I tend to play on packed servers, so mags are nowhere to be found (Yes even up north). P.S. can I borrow your lucky charm :D

Well, we still have a whole alpha and beta process for them to not add this to the game, so maybe if I wait long enough and consult my magic mirror it will be added. *Me 2 mins. later: "Mirror mirror on the wall, will the Dayz devs add soda can suppressors" *Mirror in response: "NO!" Guess that sums this up... bummer.

But it is still a game, the rules can be bent a bit for a game, especially when it would really only be for shits and giggles lol.

Just imagine, a little squeaker bandit walks up on you with a soda can sticking off of his gun and demands you to give up your gear, and you promptly laugh in his face and get shot! It would be amazing!

I would even be okay with the devs reducing the amount of ammo spawned in the map as long as each gun comes with a mag (empty or otherwise).

Why would I make jokes about myself when I'm so gat dayum handsome? and by the way the map is still based off of an area of Russia even if it is simply a representation.

Considering that the town names are in RUSSIAN I think it's a safe bet that the game is meant to be set in Russia whether the area of Russia is fictional or not; And also, wtf is wrong with me trying to add a bit of humor to the damn post? I don't see the problem with simply saying that I want something. It's not as if I'm begging the devs, I'm just saying that I personally would like to see it in the game that's all. If It's added great, if not the oh well it was a good thought at least.

One thing that's been bugging me about dayz is the fact that I cant refill my canteen with water from the ocean, or the various lakes around Chernarus. We have purification tablets in the game, So it stands to reason that we should be able to purify water from any source. With the addition of the working cooking pots in the next patch, we could also boil water to purify it. This could also serve to slim down the unrealistic supply of sodas scattered around the map as well. What do you guys think?

It has come to my attention that many new Dayz players do not feel motivated to leave spawn. I feel the same way, as there are typically no other players anywhere other than the coast, and human interaction is what makes the game so fun. Leaving the spawn means being alone for a long period of time which is BORING. So, I want to know what you guys think would help to get players to leave the spawn town, and explore the vast reaches of Cherno. Personally I think the Addition of vehicles will aid in exploration the most, but I'm interested to know what you think.

Look for prisons and fire stations for guns at the start. Prisons are the yellow buildings with the circular bit on top, and fire towers have big red doors outside them and a two story tower. Once you are properly geared up, look for airbases for more advanced loot, like military gear.

And if you find bandannas of different colors you could use spray-paint to match the colors! -
Don't forget about the improvised bow (crafted with sticks and rope I believe) that they will be adding next patch as well.
