I dress in all military gear with a fully loaded AKM and an accompanying drum mag (I'm a SAW gunner with my guys), yet I'm the friendliest motherfucker you'll ever meet. Never shot a soul on sight. Whenever I find protector cases I leave food, water, medicine, and a note inside on the street. Of course, I don't hesitate to kill a guy if he's being an asshat, but other than that I'm probably the chillest dude you'll ever meet.

There was some talk about using different rounds at different values taking into account different things. Scarcity, usefulness, how much you get out of an ammo box, stuff like that. Have them be of varying values.

I was gonna try suggesting some sort of bullet-based currency to my clan for shits and giggles and also to see how that goes. If we started using bullets or old-world notes as currency (old world notes as a fiat exchange, perhaps) and we started selling equipment to others using that same medium of exchange (they could only use bullets to buy stuff from us, so therefore that becomes currency as well), we could gain a reputation and maybe people might seek to imitate us.I'm not an economist, but I think that if a group uses currency (particularly something large like the CQF), it will become a de facto currency for people who do business with them as well. I might not have elaborated too well on this since I'm on my phone

Shouldn't it be the other way around? I dunno. The regular tents spawn in those bigass apartments in like, Dubky and shit. Try those. I can't set up a camp yet to test, as much as I want to. Too lazy. Plus I'd have to drop my regular bag for a military tent (I don't think I can carry it in my hands to the campsite.)

Are they doing the same with regular tents?

I'd like Kamaz trucks, mostly because I think the V3S is fugly (it looks kind of like a pug.) But it'll get the logistical job done.

I got a basic rundown on it in highschool cadets (which isn't the actual military, I concede.) I also learned how to do that dragging thing by sticking your arms under their armpits and crossing them across the guy's chest. We could probably have both.

My gear is there to serve my purpose. Usually I'm down with my buddies doing counterbanditry on the coast (can't do that as a freshie.) PvP to keep the kids safe.

It's not persistent yet. I think that's coming later.

I've had that happen to me. Just find new shoes and you'll be set. I carry an extra pair of military boots with me now, just in case.

Yep. If you look at the DayZDB map, you can see the spawn points. I followed it and got mine at Kamenka. Only three spawn per server, however.
