i think its to try and slow down/help stop constant Spam aginst the hive server.. atlest now itll take a player a moment to going through a new life then instantly a ton of times. it sucks but.. meh gotta roll with the punches

Just accept the chaos. you cannot trust anyone and i always treat all others as if there going to shoot me, trying to be friendly and non bandit only gets you Shot.

its a fix to an issue where people would sometimes spawn in debug and be stuck there or have to respawn or run back (very long run) so now if you get the corrupted spawn location and sent to debug you just relog and your sent to the coast with all your stuff. if i understand it correctly lol -

sadly upgradeing is the way to go id look into building your own desktop as thats the cheapest and most effective route its easy to do ^_^ and if your not sure what you need to get grab a nerdy friend and some free money and have fun EDIT: i personaly like tiger direct for my parts. you can build a decent gaming rig thats easy to upgrade for about 400$ ~ (depending on how nice parts you wanna get) -
ah we have a few EU players in our clan that dont report to much of an issue

yeah its a real issue espicaly for people who are playing at lower framerates suddenly have a slideshow once there in a town lol. sadly i think the only fix for this is to wait for new dayz updates though you could always play on US35 i know for a fact they restart the server atlest every 4 hours to keep things more clean ^_^

once it happened on our server and everyone was given as50s and you hear over chat "What the fuck?" .. " TO THE DEATH!!!" me:"Fuck this!" and i jumped off the side of the building as you could hear gun shots and chaos ...it was kinda funny for once... though i still hate scripters but meh i move on

also i just remmeber another issue the hive will try to use the same char file so you cant have two diffrent chars. whoever logs out last will save there char overwriteing the other -

no it will give you guid errors you can both play but only on diffrent servers if you try to join the same one you will get errors and not able to play what i had to do to get my gf playing with me was just bite the bullet and buy a second copy of AO in a new steam account for her. -

yeah.. i agree .. theres a huge diffrence between a hacker and some kid using a script... x.x and it seems like i come across and scripter Every day. not blaming anyone on the dayz team though it must be hard to deal with, but some of these scripts are pretty crazy EDIT: though.. i wouldnt give anyone a virus . thats sinking as low as them really imo -
Um tough first day, any tips to starting with no weapon?

best starting weapon is to find a hatchet look for any kind of barn warehouse or industrial buildings when you log in or spawn the game in the lower right tells you where you are or the nearest big town big help when you use a map like dayzdb. if zombies come after you and you have no weapon you need to break eye sight run through the forest or if you see the stone walls with a broken bottem you can jump down to prone crawl under and crouch run away. z to prone x to couch and c to stand try to avoid running standing up with zombies are around if your trying to sneak around. -
Hatchet and m14 are my favorate primarys as well M1911 is my favorate side arm. the SAW can be fun too :3

is that video card ati or nvidia? also there is alot of fps loss due to just server stress make sure vsync AA and post are off in your video settings and see if that helps. if lowering video settings doesnt work the bottle neck might be somewhere else

hmm set both GPU_MaxFramesAhead=1000; GPU_DetectedFramesAhead=0 to =1 and in your nvidia control pannel make sure pre rendered frames is set to 1. though you should be getting a good fps. there has to be something.. are you running 64 bit? either way its a 32 bit app and only has acess to 2GB of ram a hard drive Can cause fps issues with any game that reads the hard drive alot not all games just load everything into ram (like minecraft fps can drop bad due to a hard drive bottle neck) though i dont think this is your problem you have decent hardware and with everything down it should be smooth as butter..

Hmm since your on a laptop make sure your power options arint making anything work in a power saver mode make sure the laptop is pluged into the wall.. and hmm.. thats odd. open your task manager is there anything else open that could be stealing resources? it should run good on the laptop in video options try setting textures to low and turn shadows off maybe your hard drive is a bottle neck.. though if that where true then the fps would drop low then go back high x.x thats an odd issue.. try makeing sure all drivers are up to date. i mean it should run good

what kinda of cpu does he have and benchmark his hard drive. one of those are causeing a bottle neck

also make sure video memory is Always set to default and try setting textures to low it could be that it cant load content from the hard drive fast enough for the higher textures not sure though. make sure vsync AA and post are all disabled what are his computer specs also?
