I don't hop servers either. Lately I have been hanging on the west side of the map so helicopter crash sites and that's where I've seen the flash bangs. I'm not sure if it's me or if they are bugged but sometimes when I throw them nothing happens. Apparently my luck with hacksaws is just bad and I'm hitting the sheds after everyone else. When I run across a hacksaw I use it and then put it back since they consume space.

A hacksaw is probably more rare to be honest. I haven't seen one in forever but I have seen 'nades and flash bangs at their spawns. I just want my sawed-off shotty again!

This was a community event game we had where the winner would receive a free game (Project Zomboid) if they found the letter on one of us. Falcon was acting as the prez and we were his body guards to protect him. Of course things didn't quite work out like we had hoped but it was still good fun...

Thanks glad you like my intro/outro. I 3D modeled and animated every bit of it so it's nice to see people do actually like it. It's different than the same ole intro everyone typically uses in DayZ. Yeah my music variety is on a massive spectrum, probably more so than most others on here being in my late 30's. I tend to use music that I feel fits the mood but it's certainly not everyone's cup of tea and that's ok. Music is like eating food. Lots of variety out there but some people just like a good ole hamburger with fries. Besides I really don't think death metal or EazyE would of somehow pulled off the same feeling I was going for with the footage I had to work with :)

We do community events quite often. I cut out a good chunk of the boring stuff where we were holding up areas for long periods since this event lasted around 3 hours. Usually there is some candid roleplaying, especially if Vector Bunny (Morgan Freeman) is playing with us. We were trying to flank the group that was on the east of the town surrounding the red building we were in. As we made it around the city we stumbled on another group that was in the same tree line we were headed to. Just didn't end like we wanted and we all got taken by surprise. Two of our group was back further and got some of the revenge for us but they ultimately died. M1NDR's video pespective shows what happened at the end as he was last to fall. To make matters worse supposedly the winner who shot Falcon (he was the president with the prized letter) died before taking a screen shot of the letter and posting it on twitter to claim his prize. So without any proof of him actually getting the letter Falcon decided its best to have a round 2 this weekend. I think the stakes have even doubled according to M1NDR. We will do it again this Sunday I believe. Feel free to come join in on the fun! Thanks for the CC and we will try and make this an entertaining event for all. Yea I remember him saying something along the lines of this was a first ever experience for him :D. He sounded so down when we stopped him. Like he knew his fate was about to be met based on past encounters. Little did he know he would end up getting a pristine LRS for being a good sport. :)Glad you enjoyed our shenanigans! We aren't really a clan, gang or anything....more like the anti-clan lol. I met up them today without even knowing what they were wearing and it's pretty funny we all had green raincoats (one of my favorite clothes in the game).

Some people get caught up on the fact these are infected people and not true zombie corpses (dead came back to life). Doesn't matter to me really. I'm one of those people that also considered the infected creatures/people in the movie I Am Legend as being zombies, but in the true sense they actually weren't. Doesn't really matter to me what they are because I'm going to split their noggin' regardless :D

I'm just waiting on the Hicks zombie. And yes I'm sure most know they are technically "infected" and not zombies persay but in the end does it really matter? DayZ is not a game defined by a huge elaborate backstory or throwing lore at you left and right non-stop. I think we all can agree their aren't like 'normal' humans and leave it at that :D

I'm sure we all have seen the countless posts and threads on various media outlets about upcoming features in this game and what state we're currently in. Some of these people don't follow the dev tracker or other social media where these reports are being posted, however they do play the game and have to look at this menu before going in. Maybe they could integrate it so that it uses internet cookies or something to know if you have visited the dev blog to read the latest Status Report and if not it would prompt however many Status Reports you haven't read. They could keep it in until the game reaches final release. I'm just trying to think of ways to better inform people. Something like this...
