i had the same thing happen to me, but it wasnt a server reset. i logged in after not playing in 4 days on the new school building (2nd or 3rd floor, the one with the ladder to the roof) and i climbed up to the roof and took a few steps and instantly black screen 'you are dead'

what server do you guys hang out in most? (so i can avoid you if you guys go into rage mode haha) or if you wanna trade or go kill things

there is something psychological about those trucks. it makes you want to shoot them, no matter how well armed you are, no matter how overpowered, or under powered, if you are alone or in a squad; you just HAVE TO SHOOT AT IT. ( the tires remark made me laugh so hard by the way) too bad a gas tank takes so much to make it blow

ok so first time posting a story in this thread. here goes. been lurking around the north area for a few months when .57 came out and wiped my guy. which i was ok with since i needed to learn the new stuff the hard way. so i end up spawning in svet and the first thing i find is the guard house full of vests, an AK, ammo, food etc. 'well this is a good glitch' i see noone ( i think there was maybe 6 or 7 people on the server) so i do my favorite run up to Novo, Severo, over to bashnya and NWAF. i log for a bit then i get a message from a friend to meet him up later. so i wander around looking for more gear. experimenting with stuff along the way. i go to vybor and i head in the base, check all the buildings. i had been searching for fnx mags. i had seen a hundred makarovs and everything, but i ad the fnx with the light and fnx scope but no battery. I find a mag and do a happy dance when i hear someone pop a soda can and munch some food(upstairs). I pull my ak74 that is fully geared, im in the back room when a guy runs into the room and i kneejerk and shoot him, he falls and i immediately regret it. i type out 'my bad' because my mic decides to not work, then get to work patching him up. i check pulse, and am in the middle of bandaging him when his partner runs in and shoots me in the head. i felt bad but felt i got what i deserved. (his name was Death by the way, it was funny because when i checked pluse it said 'death has a pulse' and i was like 'wtf?') so then i spawn on the east coast at 3 valleys, i run to the lumber mill and gather supplys, i find a container and rejoice! i go to the police staition looking for an m5, (i had a makarov at this point for zed defense), but see someone running around in front. i pull back and he shoots me in the back. i zigzag around a few buildings and patch myself up. then wait a few mins before coming out. i see the guy being chased by 2 zeds and get mad he shot a guy in the back, so I shoot a few rounds at him. he somehow loses the zeds and i lose sight of him in front of the train station. so hide in teh trees for a bit looking for him, then go into the police station so get geared up. im almost done clearing the building of loot when im sitting in the jail and a guy comes out of the back room and shoots me, im able to put a few round in him, but he has me cornered. he is fully geared, gorka helmet, face mask, ak74, the works. he ducks behind the stairs and i tried to shoot a few rounds to keep him down while i try ot get out the front door and he pokes out and gets one good headshot on me and 'you are dead' before i hit the respawn button i hear 'thats right b*H!' oh well. dont get mad. but really im kinda mad... so i respawn at 3 valleys again and decide to go inland immediatly. and to my surprise the Dayz gods blessed me. after nearly starving i make it to msta and find a bunch of food, a water bottle and a truck! so i hammer down to try to get to NWAF to meet my buddy (remember that was the original goal) the truck had a full tank of gas buti ran out by the time i get to Stary sobor ( i made a few stops to get food) then get to vybor and loot the base (everyone had logged by this time so im alone) finally make it to NW and my buddy isnt there and doesnt know when he will be back. so here i am hanging out in the forums and doing item research

is that the SVD you are using? how do you like it? what gun was ENO using?

finally found a fnx mag, then got shot. found protector case too. found 2 hele crashes and they had 9 pairs of boots and a mag of some sort each :/ was a bit dissappointed

ive been wondering this as well, but more along the lines of what is the timeline. i think what you are thinking of is how long after the apocalypse are you playing in. such as one week? one month? a year? 10 years? i get the feeling its somewhere between one and several months, possibly one year after an outbreak. they removed a jail from NWAF and reduced it to rubble. plus there are plenty of piles of refuse in the tent citys of the military bases. i believe they are working on the devastation situation.

ive done a complete march from Svet, Novo, Severo, Novaya, Bashnya, NWAF ( jumped to a few different servers due to server resets) Vybor+ military base, Green Mtn, finishing at Zeleno. all in one sitting; and i didnt find a single battery, or a medpack, or a protective case, or fnx magazines, i have an fnx and have seen 3. ive found about 100 makarov mags and a few makarovs, and now ive started finding cr75 and mags. also cant find plate carrier but thats just wishful thinking.
